Saw this ad on https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_5825574. After watching B.A.P.S. I wanted to look up more on the writer Troy Byer and this ad struck out to me because I’m not sure if I’ve seen an insurance ad with a black girl in it before. I wonder how black life is being figured as an advertise worthy image, in the time of “Black Lives Matter 2.0” (Roach 2020).
