Demons

It's been 11 years and the real me is back again

It's not the person I'd like to be again

He feels the rain when the sun is shining

His heart is cold when the sun is blinding

The small good he brings is only good for the music

But it's small payment for this lonely life

It brings to mind a story of an old man

Who couldn't beat the demons that came knocking

Everybody gave up and walked in the light

Left him alone and in the dark

It's been 11 years and I'm back again

It's not the person I'd like to be again.
