one of my favorite bits to do in a dnd campaign is to call attention to the fact that time is SO crazy in long form ttrpgs like we can be level 13, two years into the campaign, trying to stop an apocalypse WE started and I can say to some npc, “actually, I’ve known these guys for 12 days” or “you know, two weeks ago I was a clam salesman”

I'm begging all my fellow musical theatre fans (and also alt rock/punk fans) to listen to the band Bear Ghost.

their music is a genre I can only describe as "chaos rage theatre" even though it's not musical theatre at all. honestly it fucking slaps. think kind of Beetlejuice vibes. their music is technically and musically incredible and the storytelling in their songs is just *chef's kiss*

there are a few other bands I know of that have a similar feel but Bear Ghost is my best example. It scratches a very particular itch in my brain. just immaculate vibes. (and also as someone who hates exercising, this music is the BEST to workout to)
