me when I see Roy being the most sane 40’s American dude
(ah yes! racist, sexist, too much pride, narcissistic, obnoxious, bigoted, corrupted, scumbag, abuses his power, complete red flag if you meet someone like him nowadays!)
yes he does say some funny things, yes he might look attractive, yes he does say and do iconic things- but you know people. they overlook at the negative side of others
reply with the name/link of a song that reminds you of L.A. noire. and if you can, add a reason on “how” and “why” it reminds you of L.A. noire.
mine is; Deep Song by Billie Holiday.
the lyrics “Lonely grief is hounding me. Like the lonely shadow hounding me. It's always there, just out of sight. Like a frightening dream on a lightening night” reminded me of Cole Phelps and his past (during his time in the war). in many scenes, we see and hear Cole doing his best to avoid talking about topics like the war. Every time he gets reminded of the past, he definitely gets PTSD. Which is also why he avoids topics of the war.
Spoilers;
“Lonely wind cries out my name” made me thought of Cole after his affair with Elsa. Ever since that incident, his life instantly flipped over. His fans became haters, haters became more filled with hateful emotions. Lonely wind = haters + Elsa + Jack.
