The Galar starters!

I’m sooo looking forward to playing Pokemon Sword/Sheild!!!

I found an unused canvas board in my art box so decided to test out using gouache paints and see if I can create a lineless doodle of these starters.

I’m mostly happy with how this turned out and definitely want to experiment with gouache and canvas again especially since I have a spare canvas board. I might do the Kanto starters, what to think, would you like to see that?

A little watercolour doodle of Gossifleur. I’m pretty happy with how this turned out especially since I’m not use to using watercolour paints very much. ( I’ve mostly used them for backgrounds.) I may do more watercolour doodles in the future :D

Here is my Pokemon trainer team!

This was pretty hard to come up with since there are so great Pokemon that I love but in the end I picked these six, Eevee, Arcanine, Pikachu, Vulpix, Mudkip and Mew.

The Kanto region has always been my favourite so it’s mostly made up from Pokemon from this generation. However the first game I played was Ruby and my starter in that was Mudkip so I’ve added him as he’s a sweet little boi.

(Is also technically have an entire bunch of Eevee’s as well but this is my main team ;) )

What do you think? And who would you pick for your team?

Doodled a good boi!

I coloured in this doodle twice the first one is how I would usually colour and the second is my attempt at a lineless colouring method.

Let me know what you think, which do you prefer and if there is anything I could do to improve on the lineless method, as I’m not sure if the colours don’t stand out as much as they should do.
