I'm almost done with this !  I tweaked her face a bit (lowered the eyebrows and carved the cheeks) I’ll just have to work on hands and remaining strands of hair tomorrow and that should be it.

I kinda want to do X-23 after (She wasn’t one of the choice for the homework and I’m not even a X-men fan, but the figure is cool and it could help me to pass)

This week in class we started to sculpt superhero figurines in Zbrush. We had the choice between Daredevil, Superman, Hulk, Phoenix and Psylocke (which I chose) The reference is Sideshow's Psionic Psylocke Premium Format  This is the only screenshot I have for the moment (because I’m a lazy ass bitch) but I’ll work on it again next week (I still have to refine the anatomy and add hair and details) and I’ll post more WIP as it goes...

You know if you really want to help an artist on this fucking hellsite of a sharing platform you can reblog their art.

It takes 2 seconds.

But it means that maybe someone else gets to see it too.

Tumblr’s algorithm is very time orientated and if someone isn’t in the right timezone they have no chance unless people reblog it

Liking is great, but it doesnt share it. If you really like a piece. Reblog it.

So, here’s a fun story… 

My school hard drive died, and I lost everything that was on it, so I had to start this over (it’s due on Sunday and I don’t have the software at home) but I still managed to finish it…

The hair are not as good as I wanted them to be, but I’m still rather happy with the whole thing… (Likes are cool, but they don't get me much visibilty, reblogs are welcome)

We learned how to use ZBrush this week and I really liked it.

The blue horned lady is the first thing I did with it. It’s not finished yet and I’ll probably retopologize it in 3DSMax and I might also paint it with Substance Painter.

We also started the final project that’s due in 2 weeks, which is a sculpt of Bakara from Dofus.

And now I’m a bit worried that I set the bar a bit too high and that I will never be able to do anything at least half as good…
