BASICALLY i have this oc which is just Ethan's daughter and this is not her main storyline, it's rather a dead reckoning au.

She disappeared when she was seven, presumed kidnapping, and Ethan had to move on.

She hasn't been found in more than 15 years, but now Gabriel resurfaced... And so did Helen.

Gabriel was the cause of Helen's disappearence and always wanted to use her as a weapon against Ethan, mind breaking her, changing her appearance, all for that one day Gabriel knew would come where he would confront Ethan again.

When the entity came out grabriel managed to connect Helen physically with the entity meaning Ethan had to choose: let the world die to let Helen and the entity live or kill the entity but also killing Helen, since they're connected.

It's a very Jinx, Vi, Silco situation tbh, Anyway I'll stop my stupid rambling, hope you enjoy :3

Ice knows he's going to lose his voice. They say that they'll do their best to leave him with something to work with after the surgery, but call it pessimism or just gut feel, he knows he's going to lose it.

It's the beginning of the modern digital age and he takes full advantage of it. He buys a video camera, top of the range so the video would still be good for years to come. (None of them knew how good technology would become in just a few short years, how fast those videos will become dated.)

He records short videos and long videos.

I like to think this is right after they heard Ice was definitely in remission ♥ about a billion pounds of stress just dropped off of their shoulders, spring was starting up slowly and Ice was looking at the sun slanting in through the hospital window so wonderingly that Mav decided to whisk him outside to enjoy it up close. He can't help a few sneaky tears when his partner turns his face up to the rays, basking in it contently. God damn, they made it. He knows the remission is no guarantee that they'll never have to fight this battle again but for now, they're taking the win, God damnit. (and as a matter of fact I'm using artistic freedom to declare it never came back after this so there.)

Some lamenting over The Artist Experience and the initial sketch under the cut~

You know how it goes, you doodle a quick sketch and think 'hmm I like that, lemme clean it up quickly' only for it to be the most frustrating piece to get right?? That was this. Look at that sketch, stick figures at best but I liked their vibe and then Mav's face REFUSED to come out in any way that approached the energy of the sketch (there are 10 versions of his face. TEN) So this is me, saying GOOD ENOUGH before i get too frustrated to ever dig it out of my wip folder ever. Bone apple teeth and all that jazz.

Introduction to my top gun oc, uh, this is probably very cringe, but cringe is freedom, so who cares if a random teen makes a stupid character!

Her name is Natalia "Brutus" Marcuzzi,called to top gun along side her RIO Christina "Cassius" Bucci, they're both italian, let's day their mission didn't go that nicely. Cassius died decapitated by a piece of plane, Brutus later became an admiral but lived all her life with survivor's guilt! (They were in love yes)

Also, au where Mav gets called back to top gun for a mission and she's their instructor :3

(P.S. lots of things are confusing and inaccurate, mostly time wise, but atp I'm just having fun with it :D)

(Even more P. S., i see Mav as one hell of a mama's boy, he went from being incredibly disrespectful to her to mistakenly calling her mom, she secretly was proud)

This is her 20 years after the incident! Cold, shut off lots of her emotions as a coping mechanism.

because i am delusional and a fluff maniac and usually ignore ice‘s death or any real angst in a need to satisfy my fluff-o-meter, just imagine the beach football scene in TGM for one minute. see below the cut:

about ten minutes after everyone and maverick arrives at the hard deck, when they’re all busy playing at the beach, ice shows up. hangman of all people sees him catching up with penny at the deck out of the corner of his eye and is like, huh, weird. then he realizes that OMG that’s admiral kazansky except he’s literally never seen him in anything but dress blues with all four stars and the admiral is in civvies. not service khakis. civvies. then the admiral goes down to the beach and sits in one of the two deck chairs sitting there and switches out his glasses for actual aviators. then he starts doing what looks like a fucking sudoku puzzle of all the things. hangman is briefly extremely confused but then he gets tackled by fanboy.

after a while, cyclone shows up because he was like where the fuck did everyone go. he shows up, probably to ask mav wtf he’s doing, except when he gets there he’s literally confronted with ice randomly sitting on the beach and doing sudoku while the squad plays football. cyclone doesn’t know how to process this.

“admiral,” he says, standing by his chair.

ice pauses in his sudoku puzzle—too bad, he was almost done—and looks up at him for a moment.

“what is this?”

“from how captain mitchell explained it to me,” ice says, dry as anything, “it’s dogfight football. players play both offense and defense simultaneously.”

cyclone still doesn’t know how to interpret this. “who’s winning?”

“i really doubt they’re keeping score at this point, beau,” ice replies, going back to penciling in his sudoku puzzle.

cyclone just looks at what’s happening with the squad cheering and tackling each other out on the sand. “the detachment still has some training to complete, admiral,” he says.

ice nods, still looking fairly unbothered.

“pardon my—curiousity, but i don’t really see how this is helping.”

“well,” ice says, “it’s one way to create a team, if i had to guess.”

“did you authorize this, admiral?” cyclone is mostly asking because he doesn't know why else ice would be there.

“i never said that,” ice says, and the strangest thing is that he sounds like he’s trying not to laugh. cyclone has never even heard admiral kazansky even make a noise to suggest laughter. not even a chortle.

farther up the beach, mav waves at ice, grinning gleefully. half of that is partially because he can 100% tell how confused cyclone is by this whole turn of events. the other half is that ice looks … well, pretty damn good.

ice grins back, tipping his aviators down in acknowledgement. cyclone, meanwhile, just stands there until ice advises him to maybe go sit down and get a drink from what penny’s whipping up inside, mostly to avoid any other questions and because the man looks like he’s going to burst a blood vessel.
