My yummy oat milk!
1 cup rolled oats
3 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup coconut flakes
2 pitted dates
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Blend all ingredients for 30-45 seconds.
Gradually pour blended contents into a clean container using a linen towel or clean t-shirt as a filter. Ring out towel while filtering.
Refrigerate for up to 5 days! Enjoy :)

Social media has been flooded with inspiring crafting, workout, cooking, renovating, studying, etc. posts the past couple months. This is all great content, and Iโve been enjoying some of these self care activities myself, but not every day is full of anticipating possibilities and potential productivity. The days where you give yourself permission to do nothing but exist and respect whatever you are feeling are often the most fulfilling days. This mental health awareness month presents particularly difficult challenges. Letโs focus on accepting our own progress and nonconforming to the belief that we constantly need to be working towards a measurable or tangible goal. Even if that means taking a social media hietus.
