Alright another one because my mornings going slow, Meet Aoki

Quick thing I forgot to mention about Callum that I’ll mention here since it involves Aoki as well

Aoki and Callum are more close to White Lady than PK. More plant traits and such

Aoki is like this because she straight up died, She was attacked by one of those club husks they I can’t never remember the name of, her body wound up in a half reformed Lifeblood cocoon and was left in it for years, Ronin found her and cut her out, and then had vis work her magic to help wake her up (They also did this in a hot spring)

And now she’s self sufficient! Her body is constantly replenishing lost lifeblood so she drips a lot.

Very kind but shut off from the others, she’s just scared after literally dying.

Shambles a lot, she’s kinda a zombie but if the zombie was kind and liked spending time in a garden and could actually talk….kinda

oh i love lifeblood vessels!! shes very cute looking and i love how the lifeblood itself were coloured! There needs to be more lifeblood based vessel ocs imo!

I tweaked my false lord au a little an made it just a tad bit worse! :)

Instead of void taking over PKs husk of a body. Void had instead been slowly eating away at his brain and memory while being fully away that he was slowly loosing his mind because of both the physical effects of void and the fact that he had been sitting alone at the palace for for long.

As for what's pictured, this is based on an rp me and a friend have been doing. Basically due to Hornet being related to PK she was able to see brief (all-though distorted) imagery of the white palace after it had been sealed away.

When PK found her he wasn't fully long gone, still sentient, but aware of what is happening to him and is in a constant physical and mental pain. He didn't even recognize Hornet upon seeing her, yet he still ran to her seeing how he didn't see another person there for so long due to time within the dreamscape traveling so very slowly within.

Grabbing onto her he practically yelled out in pleas, begging for her to basically kill him. But Hornet couldn't bear witness to this, even despite having sour feeling towards him and ended up leaving him there to rot away via void even further.

Oh lord josho here I go rambling late at night again

This is Callum, He is the second oldest of my group behind Ronin and Menji

He has Thorns on his body which are normally harmless but when he gets stressed they harden and sharpen

When he escaped the abyss he wounded up in an orphanage, and stayed there for a long while, his cloak is actually a blanket he used there, He modified it and began wearing it like a cloak to try and conceal his thorns

He takes care of the younger siblings Ronin and Menji find straggling in hollownest.

He’s well spoken and proper, byproduct of the care takers of the orphanage he was raised in

I LIKE HOW SPIKEY HE ISSS the blanket is a very neat idea too!!!

Got anything else you wanna lore dump? Maybe about some of the types of bugs…..maybe gods? I’m open to anything

hmm well that makes me think of the topic of bug species n such

while in the universe of HK all the bugs are heavily inspired by real life bugs i do think theyre kind of just their own thing. The mantis probably being the closest to a 'real bug' imo

Also, i think that its lil funny to imagine that Grimm is actually the closest thing to a mammal we can get in Hallownest with the rest of em either strictly bugs, deities, gods or their own thing like vessels. This were inspired by that Grimm's whole design was not only 'haha halloween' but that he was thought up with the question 'what would bugs be scared of?' and the answer turned out to be spiders, bats and cats.

The bats n cats part is the thing that made me inspired for the 'kind of a mammal' headcannon.

(also im not actually sure if the whole bat cat spider thing is 100% true since it were only word of mouth, but i liked it so much that its cannon to me)
