this is adora's fav cuddling position bc she feels like it's as close to catra as she can physically get "without, like, morphing into you." she then suggests they try that, to which catra reminds her they wouldn't be able to Kiss if they were morphed into a single being, and adora concedes the point

You inspire me as an artist to sometimes not be so strict or whatever it is with my lines, maybe it’s inspiration to be more free. I still struggle but your art makes me feel brave sometimes if I decide not to use hard lines or full coloring in lines

aw thank you! i think there’s something so beautiful in drawing gesturally, and honestly, if i try to force myself to draw “cleanly” i drive myself crazy and never end up drawing at all.

so that’s the lesson i guess.... make the art you like, even if it’s not “right”! it’s better than getting so frustrated you don’t make art at all! (and chances are it’s all the more beautiful for it)

sidenote: some poor goon doesn’t realize that adora doubles as catra’s bodyguard and thinks he can take her out. next thing he knows, he’s on the ground with a broken leg and adora standing over him, wiping lipstick from the corner of her mouth.
