Meeting and chatting with Gregg Berger, the voice of Jecht, was a dream come true and made the whole agonizing flight(s) worth it!
@lastaim and I talked to him about the flight, we talked about how far we’ve come, esp from being from the states. Gregg was very surprised that we came all the way from NJ and told everyone around him; staff and other actors around him. It was an amazing day~ he’s such a great and engaging guy!
We had him sign our acrylic stand of Jecht and our FFX ps2 disc, next to Yuna’s signature~
We took multiple pictures with him. He even did a video/audio recording of dialogue we wrote up for him. That blew our mind how he’s able to still sound like Jecht after 20+ years! When ppl were curious who he was voicing, he introduced Jecht as “Sir Jecht” and joked how his body was modeled after his own 😆 The whole experience made our entire vacation as a whole.
WE WILL NEVET FORGET THIS MOMENT AND WILL TREASURE IT FOR THE REST OF OUT LIVES.
We still haven’t recovered from it and keep looking back at the pics and videos and audio from that moment
My comms are open to help @cainballad with their medical expenses, esp after their surgery. Please help in any way if you can. If you can't, that's totally fine. Spreading the word also helps! Thank you.
The abomination that is my ita bag insert! So many wonderful artists' creations mushed into a chaotic, jumbled mess that I love dearly.
I always get so excited when I find another piece of Ojiro merch that ships to the UK.
An extra big shout out to LastAimArt for the absolutely adorable handwritten note that came with my keyring order + the Ojiro chibi sketch I wasn't expecting but now have laminated to keep it safe because it's so cute 💛💛
Went to Distant Worlds Coral on Jan 7th. This is my and @lastaim’s 3rd time going to these concerts and it’s always surreal. Always beautiful and always an experience. We sat just six rows from the stage and literally just like 3 feet away from where Yoko Shimomura was sitting! (I circled her seat) We didn’t know she was sitting there! I’m still awed by being able to meet the conductor, Arnie Roth, YOKO SHIMOMURA, HERSELF, and RIKKI, the original singer for FFX’s “Suteki da ne”.
