Soft Hues Outfit from a few weeks back in Meguro, grabbing a hamburger as big as my face and a cappuccino at a small cafe in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. How I managed to come out of all those activities with absolutely no spill, I still have no idea. The weather was fantastic though, so it's natural to reach for softer hues. I like to keep my items like bags and shoes in my usual black though so I don't look as if I'm about to float away, but bright colors would also work especially in the summertime! So ladies, be brave and get your white flowy tops and white skinny pants for a big change! Oh, and don't mention about my obsession over H&M and Zara. I know it's a problem. Fashion, oh fashion.
Talking about Japanese fashion districts, one cannot forget to mention the infamous Omotesando. Sandwiched between Harajuku and Shibuya, the capital of the teens and tweens, Omotesando is oddly, but somehow, naturally home to many high end brands’ stores and boutiques. Stepping into Omotesando area feels similar to that of a 24-hour runway. People here are endlessly inspiring.
Knowing that we were gonna grab the yummiest lattes at Omotesando Coffee one fine Monday afternoon, I knew I had to keep up with the most fashion forward surroundings in the city. Simple black romper and a white blazer, I tied the whole thing together with some emerald tones. The hat was acquired on Takeshita street, and earrings, for a rather surprising cheap price, at Flying Tiger as I was grabbing some tape the previous day.
The rest of the outfit is from H&M and yes, that includes the block-heeled sandals too. I was a walking exhibition of fast fashion that afternoon.
That only goes to show that, if you want to blend in in Omotesando, you sure don’t have to be clad with high end brands, although, you can. The right combination would certainly do, given that you walk with confidence, and a smile that comes from the heart.

Nowadays, you can get a floral printed dress easier than buying fresh fruits, so admit it girls, you all have one or two of these in your closet. What are you waiting for? Get your beige bag and your light color shoes, and to further accentuate the girlishness of the ensemble, pull your hair into a low bun, or not, there are really no rules for these things.
Dress and shoes are from Hanoi and Shibuya, in that order. Bag is a gift, branded Ivanka Trump.
Thank you for still following us!

Gold Leaf in Shimokitazawa
We have been in love with Shimokita ever since we stepped foot there for the first time. Megu and I regularly come here to enjoy food and thrift shopping or just pure breathing in the hipster air of this ultra alternative town. The weather has been chilling down lately, leaving us no choice but to wrap ourselves in fleece coats, leather boots, and turtle-necks.

Bonjour
The beret isn't the only reason why I named this entry Bonjour. The moment I decided to post this outfit on the blog, my iTunes magically played this song called Bonjour by Lemongrass. You should check the tune out too. It's perfect to wind down the day with or when you wake up in the morning, sipping your first coffee.
Anyhow, I bought this super cute oxblood beret in Mode-Off in Koenji for like 500¥. What a steal! And it makes me look super Frenchy too. This color is very autumn-y and we are sporting all things in red hues around because the weather has been chilling down. It is the beginning of November after all.
The last picture isn't taken in Iidabashi. Megu and I were actually roaming around World Trade Center later that day, admiring the beauty of Tokyo from the 40th floor at night. How beautiful is this metropolis. You tell me.
Blazer, Leather Leggings: H&M/ Bag: COACH/ White long-sleeve: RALPH LAUREN/ Boots: some boutique stores in Omotesando Hills.

Ueno
AZUL by moussy blouse, Thrifted skirt, Mango sandals, Kate Spade wallet
Super-duper long overdue post from this summer. One of the very early Tokyo adventures at Ueno, and this outfit specifically at Tokyo University of the Arts, the most prestigious art school in Japan. So what's the best way to fully appreciate the space? Take loads of pictures on campus. Sorry students (well not really. Your campus is beautiful anyway). This thrifted skirt is probably the only way I could ever look so feminine because a) it is high-waisted and b) it hits right below my knees and with those two elements combined with c) it is A-lined all I really need is a nice simple blouse to blend in with the classy part of Tokyo. And a starbucks cup maybe?

Wephobia PJ blouse, GU shorts, Mango sandals, Etsy necklace
...Continue on from Sue's last post on our obsession over Wephobia, have you ever thought how amazing it would be to simply wear your pj out to work? Well I definitely have, and my wish was definitely granted thanks to Wephobia. It's pretty much a sum of everything that I adore in one: comfort, simplicity and versatility. Perfect for those days when you have absolutely zero energy to come up with an outfit while still looking like you belong in the office building (well in my case, Harajuku, for that matter).

Electric Feel
Megu and I have been obsessed with a brand called WEPHOBIA, by two young designers based in Hanoi, Vietnam. We can’t stop liking pictures from their facebook page. Check them out if you are interested! But don’t you agree that this shirt is so effortlessly chic. It just makes you look cooler than everybody else. That’s the power of clean design. It transforms you naturally and elegantly. No matter what you wear it with, what occasion you sport it to. I am in love!
Here I combine this magical shirt with my ZARA pencil skirt and H&M strap sandals. Head to toes basics.

Expert in Partying All Night
Tokyo has this way, it makes you stay out and up all night. It makes you see sunrises, drunk, and happy. So what to do when you are going out literally all night long? You stay comfortable. I think comfort has always triumph over style for me. But the combination of style and comfort could happen. That's why crop-tops, flowy skirts and chunky heels exist.
And I am grateful.

One Shinjuku Night
Mây 'Crafts and Drinks' maxi dress, Mango sandals
Funny thing about Asian summer is that the temperature never drops even past midnight. Which might be a good thing for someone like me who prefers wearing the same clothes throughout the day rather than carrying around extra cardigans for those what-if moments.
With that being said, maxi dress is the ultimate solution to a lazy bum like me. Just one piece of clothing and you're good to go. How awesome is that? The one by Mây 'Crafts and Drinks' from Vietnam makes no ordinary maxi dress though, it transforms a lazy bum like me into a perfectly fine, ready-to-go-out getup with no hustle involved what so ever. What's more special though? That extra slit right there. I can never get enough of minimalistic items with a hint of quirky details.
