Happy Trans Day of Visibility 🏳️‍⚧️ I made a comic reflecting on my church upbringing as an eXvangelical trans person. The Jesus conservative Christians claim to represent looked lot more like many of the LGBTQ+ friends I know and love. Just some food for thought 💖

✏️ I greatly prefer digital art to relax over traditional. Especially when it comes to mandala patterns with the symmetry tool and coloring drawings tho I will say carving lino prints is pretty satisfying

☕ i think I've only ever done warm up sketches once. it was with a symmetry tool because i don't have to think too hard when drawing with it but it still gets me into the drawing mindset. My experience was pretty good with it actually so i think I'll be doing it again

(bonus, the warm up sketch in question)

🌗 day. Day is absolutely better for drawing. i like going to bed at a reasonable hour

🍀I wish my art was more . . . . . eh idk actually I guess i wished my art got more feedback/response but not in like "i want it to be popular" way Especially in my comic, I like to hide a lot of secret messages, images, and text; I kinda wish people would notice/talk/theorize about them more

like did you know that on the last page of scene two of TGN there's not only a cipher but a visual representation of what will happen to Lloyd

that whole scene also has a lot of symbolism which i wish people would comment on

so I guess my answer is "I wish my art was more analyzed"
