Haru.

Once again, Kingdom Hearts. Specifically the character The Master of Masters. I thought he was such an interesting character idea and I made up a backstory for him, which developed into Haru!

Vokku!

Okay so the inspiration for Vokku comes from two different places. First one would be Sora kingdomhearts, because I really like his character and wanted an oc like him.

The other part is from a dream I had. Most of the dream is not relevant, but in the dream there was a play (midsummer night style) and two fae siblings, one who had been swapped changeling style, and the other who had stayed in the fae world. The raised fae brother set out on a quest to find his sibling and bring him back home. In the dream the character had dark skin and glowing freckles like he'd been dusted with starlight.

Talk about what was fun to draw, what was hard, any interesting stories surrounding the making of it! Behind the scenes! pls guys that would be so fun to read I would LOVE to see that let's do it!

#yeah about that#what if the commentary is already on the original post xD#I'm like 70% sure that a big reason (besides it being doodly and obscure) people don't reblog my art#is because I tend to put commentary on it#I've started putting a lot of it in the tags for that reason#most art I see on here has little to no description on it so this is my hypothesis#that being said I have been planning to go back and reblog one specific piece of art I did#because it was GOOD dangit#and it got TWO notes#so *shrug* I might end up doing this

@mozart-the-meerkitten amazing you're already doing it! Honestly the fact that you can post art and give that is so impressive, commentary or details about characters are So Hard for me to write, it's so painful. So when I see you doing it it's really impressive.

Okay but also...I am not an expert, and I haven't been on Tumblr that crazy long, but I've been trying for a bit and this is what I've learned. Whether or not a ton of people see your post and leave notes is luck. There's not a lot you can do that will for sure make a difference. Leave too much commentary on the art and people won't want to stop and read it. Leave too little and people won't know what it's about. when I first started out here I posted a doodle with no caption, and it did three times better than any of my other art at the time. It currently has more notes than what I get on a post right now too. I have no idea why, there's no logic to it. Sometimes the winds of Tumblr are kind.

I've kinda kicked around changing my url. It's fun but also feels kinda...stuck up..? Idk the masterful part keeps making me feel like, "no pls I don't think that highly of myself I promise I'm just doodling it's not serious" but also I've had the whole time I've been here and I don't have any ideas of what to change it to :/
