okay hear me out
we’ve confirmed that corruption is more mental than physical, right? the gems aren’t “all together” mentally enough to sustain a desired physical manifestation and instead become creatures/things that they should not be or look like
so, what if white diamond is on the cusp of that?? she’s more made of light than blue or yellow because she’s slowly losing her mind and therefore isn’t able to sustain a solid physical manifestation? That could be why she doesn’t have distinct features?
id love to see a diamond get corrupted just to know how it’d turn out (imagine endgame final boss is the diamonds and crystal gems vs. corrupted white diamond what a DREAM)

controversial opinion
so ive been watching people play LiS: BTS and I absolutely love it, I love the Rachel and Chloe dynamic and I love the look at Arcadia Bay before Max comes back.
BUT
can we not forget the fact that Rachel lied to Chloe about her and frank????
in BTS we see the shit that Rachel went through, but that doesn’t excuse her leading Chloe on and lying to her face?
writing love letters, dancing in her underwear in his trailer, to me it seems like Rachel was leading Chloe on after she fell for Frank because she believed that Chloe could actually help her get out of Arcadia Bay??
I feel bad for Rachel, but I feel even worse for Chloe

I think you forgot who wears the pants in this relationship
You’re breaking my heart, babe.
Cry me a river.

Get over it.
Another credit card?!
It’s just rain, you aren’t gonna melt!
When’s the last time YOU cleaned the bathroom?
I don’t know why I married you.

You’re the one who left it laying around.
I’m a lucky girl. I’ll admit that.
Teach me how to play?
It’s called a prank.
Well, you’re a prick.
Good, I hope you feel bad.
You have cold, you’re not dying.
I have reasons. You wouldn’t get it.
I hope you have a cold shower.
You don’t mean that.
Sing to me, please.
Did you enjoy yourself last night?
Why do they behave for you?
Stop making your own rules.
Don’t open an umbrella in the house.
You know what happens when you assume things.
That’s open for discussion.
Oh, what a shocker, you have an excuse.
Be serious for two minutes, please.
I cheated.
What’s the biggest lie you ever told?
Pillows are over-rated.
Zombies aren’t real, I promise.
Are we lost or do you know where we are?
We started with one and now we have seven. You have no chill.

Boys meet Girl (Poly!Hamilsquad x Fem!Reader)
[ Hello agaaaaain! Given that I posted my last story that I'd written a while ago, I figured that I’d post the other one I wrote a month or so ago. I hope you all enjoy!
Reader meets the boys for the very first time!
TW: Very brief mention of homophobia? I think that’s all! ]
You hummed along to the faint music playing in the bookstore as you passed through aisles and aisles of books. You'd been in this store many times in the last few weeks, as they'd added a new section for used books. Something about the feeling of a worn book in your hands made you feel nostalgic. Not to mention the prices were significantly less than the price of new books, and that fit perfectly in your budget of a college student. Finally, after rows and rows of freshly published books, you made it to your sanctuary. Used books spanned the entirety of the room. Art books, comic books, poetry books, music books, any kind of book you could think of you'd find here.
"I haven’t seen you in a bit, Y/N. Are you finally sick of me?" You turned your head towards the counter at the side of the room, offering a smile to your favorite employee. Arthur was a kind man, older in age, but was always pleasant and happy to see you. His large, thickly framed glasses looked like they'd come straight out of the 1980's and his goatee reminded you of your father's. He was sorting through an array of books that you could only assume just arrived to the store, a hardcover novel in his hand with the other typing on the keyboard before him.
You sauntered over, stuffing your hands in the pockets of your sweatshirt. "I could never get sick of you, Arty. How’ve you been?"
He finished cataloging the book and murmured, half pre-occupied. "Good as I could be, dear. Be a little better if the weather wasn't so wet, be even better if work went by any faster."
You giggled and turned your attention to the windows behind Arthur, watching the rain droplets slip down the glass. The sky was a pleasant gray, like the gray of a perfect skipping stone you'd find at the edge of a river. Not too dark, not too light. Just gray enough to invoke the feeling of a perfect rainy day. Arthur folded his hands on the top of a tall stack of books to be catalogued and smiled at you. "You here today for anything in particular, sweet pea?”
You shook your head, rocking your weight between the balls of your feet and your heels. "I think I was going to just wander around and see what catches my eye. Any new art books in?" He winked. "A whole mess."
You clapped in delight and winked right back. "Will Ralph be stopping in today? He still owes me a croissant from last Thursday." At the mention of his partner, Arthur began to blush just as you'd anticipated. Despite your utter lack of luck in your love life, the relationship between Arthur and Ralph always kept you hopeful. The affection they held in their eyes when looking at each other was practically palpable.
It was a real Romeo and Julian story when they fell in love. Arthur's family was very homophobic at the time, so they didn't take kindly to him gushing about the handsome man he'd met at the bakery down the street. Ralph had just started working there, and Arthur stopped in to the bakery every day to see him. He’d slip him love letters when he paid for his treats, and after a few months, the two were madly in love. So when they’d saved enough money, the two eloped to Las Vegas and got married. Every time Arthur told that story, he’d get a tear in his eye. And every time, you smiled and told him just how inspiring their love was to you.
Arthur loved to tease you by putting all the new books he knew you'd be interested in at the very top of all the shelves. You stepped up to the art section and noticed all the new art books aligned at the very top of the wooden shelf. You whipped around to glare at Arthur, and were met with equally mischievous grins from he and Ralph who’d just arrived. Huffing, you made your way to the other side of the store and grasped the  step ladder. You dragged it across the floor, the rounded bottoms of the feet scraping against the forest green carpet until you made it back to your previous spot.
You were careful about taking one step, then another, being sure about your footing each time before you advanced. Ralph snorted from the counter and you resisted the urge to whip around and flip him off. Once you were at the very top step, your shoulders fell when you realized you still weren't tall enough to reach the one book catching your eye. The spine was embroidered with gold vines on the black velvet fabric and you couldn't wait to get your hands on it. So slowly, and carefully, you leaned your weight onto the balls of your feet and you reached up as high as you could to grasp it. Your fingertips just barely kissed the spine and you let out an exasperated sigh as you tried to stretch further than you were able to. And in an instant, your weight shifted the stepping stool underneath you. I
t slipped forward, causing you to fall back just after your hand frantically grasped for the book. If you might end up with a cracked skull, it might as well be worth it in the end right? "Y/N!" You heard Ralph cry out in alarm as your body began to fall backwards. And just as you braced for impact with the ground, you heard a rush of movement and felt two hands grasping your waist. "Mon deui! That was almost very bad, non, Cherie?" A smooth French accented voice said from behind you.
Slowly you were guided back to your feet and onto the ground. And as soon as you were stable, you turned around to look up at your savior. Boy did your jaw drop. A beautiful man with deep skin and stunning, curly hair pulled back into a ponytail. His soulful eyes had a playful glint, and his lips were curled into a bright smile. "I-I..." you fumbled to collect yourself, but managed to choke out a sentence. "T-Thank you so much! My god, I can't t-thank you enough for that..." The stranger shook his head and laughed light-heartedly. "Do not be ridiculous, cherie! Any sensible person would have done the very same, I am sure of it! But I believe you should be more careful, Miss...?" You clutched the book to your chest and offered a nervous smile. "Y/N... And I definitely will... Mister...?" Once again, that captivating laugh of his rang out. "Properly? Gilbert. But you, fleur, please do call me Lafayette."
From behind Lafayette, you could see both Arthur and Ralph staring at you two in awe. But you paid hardly any mind to them. You were mesmerized by this handsome savior, and so emboldened by adrenaline, you blurted out, "C-Could I buy you a coffee? To repay you?? It feels wrong of me to do absolutely nothing in r-return!" Lafayette's eyebrow perked up and the speed of your heart hastened. And just as he was about to respond, you heard another unfamiliar voice to the left of you. "Laf! We've been calling you!"
The voice was just a bit deeper than Gilbert's, and you were slightly surprised to set your eyes on it's owner. It was another stunningly handsome man, shorter than Laf but still taller than you. He had thinly framed glasses and long, silky brown locks tied back into a loose bun. There was a charisma and poise about him that made you feel insecure just by standing before him.
Beside him were two more men, equally handsome to Laf and this new stranger. One was about Lafayette's height, with dark skin and kind eyes. His hair seemed to be the shortest of all four men, and was covered with a navy blue beanie. His arm was around another man with long, curly hair tied back into a low ponytail. He was what you'd describe a beautiful man to be. High cheekbones, a defined jawline, a pair of eyes you could surely get lost in if given the chance. He, like the man beside him, was also wearing a beanie. When the three men made it over to you and Laf, the glasses clad one shifted his gaze to you and paused. Then, with a charming smile, he addressed you. "Forgive me, I didn't realize Laf was preoccupied."
It was a miracle that you weren't a stuttering mess before all four of these men. "Oh no, n-not at all! He just.. well..." You looked to the toppled over step stool in embarrassment. "He caught me when I'd fallen from this stool, and I was just insisting I get him some c-coffee as a token of my thanks!" He looked alarmed at this, shifting the pile of journals he had to one arm in order to reach out to you. "What luck he was nearby to catch you! Might I ask your name, miss?" Almost mechanically, you placed your hand in his to shake in a greeting, "M-My name is Y/N. And uhh.. yours?" His face softened as he grasped your hand in his much larger one in a gentle shake. "Alexander Hamilton. It's an absolute pleasure to meet you." You nearly shuddered.
"Y/N..." The taller man in the beanie rumbled out contemplatively, his smoldering eyes examining you. He broke into a goofy grin shortly afterwards, "You look like a Y/N. Your name fits you perfectly!" You were surprised by his words, and couldn't help but laugh a bit in response. "You think so?" You said, twirling a lock of hair around your finger self consciously. The man next to him grinned prettily and shot Lafayette look. "Well, Miss Y/N, is it wrong of me to assume Laf was being the horrible flirt he typically is?" Your face flushed bright red and before you could even stammer a response, Laf rested a hand on your shoulder and drawled out, "My my, seems I have been caught. You know me too well, my love." You paused. He... was he dating this handsome man? If so... then why did the tall man with the beanie have his arm around him? You were worried your confusion was showing on your face, but you tried your best to recover and addressed the two men you had yet to properly greet.
"Well, I've met Alexander and Lafayette. Might I ask your names?" The shorter male's face went slightly pink and he held out a hand. "Ah, sorry! I didn't mean to be rude... John Laurens, nice to meet you." You shook his hand gently. Just when you withdrew it, the taller male took it. As opposed to John's hand, which was lithe with slender fingers, his was much larger and softer. "Hercules Mulligan, Y/N. But feel free to call me Herc." You smiled at them all, your hands now both slipped into the pockets of your sweatshirt, "Well John, Herc, Alexander and Lafayette, I can safely say I didn't intend on making any friends at this bookstore today. But I was serious when I asked to buy Lafayette coffee. How about... we all go?" The boys all looked at one another contemplatively but quickly turned back to you in agreeance. So all together, you made your way out of the discount section of the store. Ralph and Arthur both flashed you thumbs ups when they were sure none of your new acquaintances could see. You mouthed, "I KNOW!" exaggeratedly before you scurried on forward with the guys.
The bookstore had a cafe not too far from the registers, so the five of you settled your things at the table. And to their many protests, you insisted on paying for all of their drinks since you intended on buying Lafayette's anyways. But as pushy as you were, you wouldn't take no for an answer. So to their dismay, they relented and relayed their drink orders to you. But, given you were only one person, Alexander elected to help you carry the drinks when they were ready. So as the two of you stood and waited, you took this time to get to know him just a little better. "So, Alexander, you've got quite a few journals there. Do you enjoy writing?" He chuckled and nodded, tucking a stray lock of hair behind his ear. "More than enjoy. Writing makes me feel alive. I write assorted political and socio-economical pieces in a local news outlet." Your brows rose. "That's very impressive! I'm a lost cause when it comes to those topics, maybe I'll try to get myself educated by reading your work?" He grinned. "I'd love for you to read my work some time." He leaned his weight onto the counter and perked a brow at you. "What do you do with your time, Y/N?"
You could feel heat rise to your face as you struggled to respond. "W-Well, I'm a c-college student. I'm not quite sure what I w-want to major in, so I've just been trying to finish my gen-eds." He smiled kindly and reached forward to tenderly pat your upper arm. Your heart surged in your chest. "You've got all the time in the world to decide what you'd like to do with your life, dear. Until you've found what that might be, learn and explore and enjoy your youth. Try new things, new experiences." You found yourself getting lost in his eyes. Something about all four men was so... enchanting. But a question was nagging at your mind that you had yet to discover the answer to. "Can I ask a question, Alexander?"
He canted his head to the side. "What might that question be?" You weren't even sure how to go about this... Heat rushing to the apples of your cheeks, you turned your gaze to the barista behind the counter still working on Hercules' and Laf's remaining drinks. "Well... Uhm. I-I'm sure it isn't any of my business at all, but my curiosity is pretty overpowering." He laughed softly, grasping his black coffee in his hand to take a quick sip. "Out with it, Y/N." You nodded, embarrassed, and fiddled with your thumbs. "Well.. back in the sales section, L-Lafayette called John "my love" but... wasn't Herc the one with his arm around John?" A look of amusement crossed Alexander's face, and you prayed you hadn't just made a fool of yourself. After another slow sip, he spoke once more, "Mm, that he was. But Laf didn't misspeak." Your brow furrowed and you looked up at him in confusion. "Then, well.. is..." You huffed, trying to no avail to understand just what Alexander meant by that. "Am I missing something here?" He laughed, like he was in on a joke you were not.
Just then, the barista placed the remainder of the drinks before you two. Alex was silent as he grasped three of the drinks in his larger hands, and you settled for your own drink and Lafayette's Earl Grey tea. Had you said something wrong? You hoped you hadn't offended Alexander in any way, but his silence only continued to worry you. When you arrived back to the other three men, your confusion only worsened. Lafayette was seated in the middle of the three, Herc with his arm around the back of his chair and John with his fingers interlaced with Laf's right hand. Alex seemed to notice the peculiar look on your face as he distributed the drinks to the men, and with a playful smirk, he teased out, "Still at a loss?" After you'd handed Laf his drink, which was met with a sweet "Thank you, cherie." you slid onto your seat in between Alexander and Hercules. "Kinda!" You admitted, looking from one man to the next, to the next, to the next. ---  "You're all dating each other?" You gasped in astonishment, your hands wrapped around the base of your drink. "You got it, Y/N," Herc mused as he took a sip of his latte, "We're all in a polyamorous relationship." A thousand thoughts were running rampant in your mind, and you tried your best to formulate them into cohesion. "To be honest, I've never met anyone in a polyamorous relationship before... But, it makes perfect sense to me. You all have such great chemistry." John drummed his fingers on the lid of his drink and grinned, "Most of the time. Just like typical monogamous relationships, we get into spats every now and then. But at the end of the day, we all know we love each other." You let out an audible "AW!" And all four of the boys laughed.
"It must frustrate other men you meet, huh? I mean.. you're all pretty gorgeous, it's only natural you'd get a lot of attention."
"And women." Alexander added nonchalantly just before his lips met the opening on the lid of his drink.
"Pardon?"
Lafayette responded for him. "It makes sense for you to assume we are only interested in men, Y/N. But we are interested in both men and women, cherie." You couldn't be sure but you wondered if they'd made that distinction for a particular reason... Did they want you to know they were bisexual? "But even so," Alexander interjected, "Just because we've committed to each other doesn't mean it'll only ever be us four. If we meet the right person and we're all on board, then we might just ask them to join in our relationship." Something about this made your chest tense up. Looking over all of their faces, something inside of you fantasized about being that right person... You had only just met them, but you were so drawn to each and every one of them.
"I'm learning so much!" You giggled, but then offered a sympathetic smile. "I'm sure you have to explain this to a lot of people, I'm sorry for making you all repeat yourselves." John waved his hand, dismissing your worries of inconveniencing them, "Don't worry, Y/N! If we really didn't care to take the time to explain this all to you, we wouldn't have."
The next few hours was spent getting to know one another through questions and playful banter. You felt so comfortable around the guys, and you were genuinely upset when they needed to check out and leave. And so, more afraid of the thought of never seeing them again than your social anxiety, you stuttered out just before they left the cafe to go purchase their books, "I-I'd really love to see you guys a-again! Could.. uhm.. c-could I have your numbers...? I'd never forgive myself if I didn't a-at least ask."
Laf chuckled, leaning in just a bit. "You are too humble, cherie. It would be a crime for me to let you slip away so easily." From the corner of your eye, you noticed a smirk surfacing on Alexander's face. You couldn't decide if you really were getting flirted with, or if this was just Laf's personality.
You exchanged phone numbers with each of them and set up a group chat. After remorsefully saying goodbye to each of them, you lingered at the cafe table and pretended to leaf through the book you practically died over. But really, you were just watching through your peripheral vision to see when they'd left. And when they'd gone, you hastily chugged down the rest of your drink and practically sprinted back to the sales section. You didn't even care that there were other people around, you just slammed your hands on Arthur's desk and exclaimed exasperatedly, "YOU'LL NEVER BELIEVE WHAT JUST FREAKIN' HAPPENED!"
