Really looking forward to Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. I hope the ‘new’ champions get to be playable, if not just just in an epilogue. Outside the main story Adventure mode would be awesome.

Modern Breath of The Wild AU: Revali’s Song

I looked at the car window as snowflakes slowly petaled all over it. Even though I was in a warm limousine, I still felt a little cold inside.

A year ago, my father, the King, ordered people to dig up ancient relics used long ago in a battle against great evil. What we found was even bigger, there were huge robotic animals that were covered in the ground, even the technology we have today does not compare to the creations of the Sheikah tribe.

There were four giant animal robots, A Elephant named Vah Ruta, A Lizard named Vah Rudania, A Eagle named Vah Medoh, and finally a Camel named Vah Naboris, we called them The Divine Beast. Each Divine Beast was going to go to each big city for each race, and go to a Champion who can pilot them. And I, Princess Zelda, am on my way to see the Rito most suitable to pilot Vah Medoh.

We already went to Rito Village to find the person we are looking for, but the Elder told me he was at a place called The Flight Range. It was a place built to let Revali, the rito practice archery.

Not many rito, or hylians practice archery anymore, so it should be easy to find him.

Then my train of thought came to a halt as the Limo was pulling up to the Flight Range parking lot. I stood up and my bodyguard put my jacket on me and zipped it up. I don’t really like them doing stuff like this, they follow me everywhere and I can barely get any peace and quiet…

They opened the door and I stepped out, but I jumped as I saw so many hylians and Rito, even some Zora and gerudo lining up to see me! There was a gate around the front of the small building so they couldn’t get in. But something caught my eye, someone whipped a mask on and took out a blade and jumped over the fence and started to dart at me. 

I Screamed at i saw it happen but my bodyguards caught the person while the police handcuffed them. They took the mask and threw it on the ground before they got in the police car. I knew the mask, it was the mask of the Yiga Clan… an evil group of people who want to resurrect the evil demon, Ganon.

I was pushed and hurried into the building and people checked to see if I were ok. Then I went to the person at the front desk.

“I’m so sorry, Princess Zelda! I don’t know why that person came at you but we wish to protect you! Please don’t harm us!” The Rito exclaimed as he bowed down on her knees.

“Whoa! It’s ok! I know you didn’t mean for this to happen, and i'm not going to hurt you for it, it’s ok, really. But by any chance, is Revali here..?” I said. 

The Rito woman got up and nodded.

“H-he is outside training, I heard he is working on a new skill t-too!” She said excitedly.

My guards opened the door that led outside, and saw Revali on the ground, trying to master the new skill the woman told me about. Then a big gust of wind swirled around him, shooting him up. I gasped in amazement, as i have never seen or heard of a rito who could do that. But just as my excitement started, it stopped quickly as Revali got stuck in the whirlwind and hit the ground.

I hurried and ran towards him but stopped as he got up.

“N-not enough!! m-must stay in t-the eye of the whirlwind… Must p-push myself harder...” He said, his voice shaking, but stopped as he turned around and saw me standing there, his cold eyes seemed they were peering into my soul..

“Y’know, Your highness... It’s rude to eavesdrop..” He said getting up and cracking his back.

“My apologies… But are you alright?” I asked, but all he did was look at me with glaring eyes.

“I went to Rito Village and the Elder told me that I would find you here..”

He turned the other way for a second, then looked me in the eyes.

“You have a need of me. To defeat Calamity Ganon. To slay the beast once and for all, it will be my greatest pleasure…” I was shocked that he already knew why I came here.

“T-Thank you, Revali. If we work together, i'm certain we can be able to defeat-”

“However!” He said, cutting me off, making my guards tense.

He went back into the pose he did when he was trying to do his trick. Then a huge gust of wind swirled around him, picking him up into the air. I prayed in my head that he would not fall again, and to no avail, he flew up into the air. I did a little jump of excitement. He did it! 

But then he took out his bow and started shooting all the targets on by one. I was in awe, I have never seen so much skill! I knew we picked the right person! 

He flew down and stood on a railing that was on the side of the building.

“I know I will play a big part in helping to defeat ganon, now that we don’t know where the boy with the sword that seals the darkness is at, correct. Well, if he ever comes back from the dead or whatever and loses his confidence after seeing me in action. Don’t come crying to me.” He said with a smirk and flew away…

(Ok, im not good at writing but i hope you get the gist of what is happening and how the story is going to be like, ima make more soon so stay tuned ^^)
