confidence! you’re the sh!t, period .. look in that mirror, say those affirmations and be THAT GIRL
happiness! let the world be mad on their own, don’t let anyone steal your joy. so many people are miserable, grumpy and rude for no reason, don’t be one of those people. if they can’t match your cheerful energy then they don’t need to be around you.
self love! no more letting opinions of others get us down or make us doubt ourselves. no more needing validation from anyone other than ourselves. anything negative said to you is pure jealousy. we’re going to love ourselves so much that no words or actions of others will affect us.
self care/maintenance ! we are taking better care of our hair, skin, nails and bodies. start a hair routine/schedule that consists of wash, deep condition, hair mask, trimming ends etc and how often you should do it depending on your type of hair. no more being lazy, take your makeup off before bed and do your skin routine in the morning and at night. let’s start a workout routine for a couple times a week; walking, gym, at home workouts, dancing, pilates, yoga etc. let’s pamper ourselves and get a mani/pedi regularly, at the nail salon or at home.
being productive! let’s wake up at a decent time each day and fill it with excitement and things worth while. let’s start the day with journaling and meditation, tidy our space, get work done, run our errands, make time to do something fun or something we enjoy, do or pick up a hobby, make sure we have a yummy meal everyday, take a relaxing bubble bath at night, read or catch up on some comfort things and then get to bed at a decent time.
knowing our worth! no more letting boys treat us any kind of way. we are goddesses, we are princesses and we should be treated as such. any one who treats us with disrespect or treats us less than we show them the door! no more third and fourth chances (i wouldn’t give a second but that’s up to you). have pride! set boundaries! no more putting up with bullshit! because guess what, what one person won’t do, someone else will! there’s someone out there that will treat you how you deserve to be treated so don’t put up with bums, we deserve top tier treatment.
romanticizing your life! let’s make every little thing in our lives magical and whimsical. let’s wear our prettiest clothes no matter where we go, let’s wear our cutest pajamas each night, use our best mugs for our coffee, light those candles, have dinner dates with ourselves, buy ourselves flowers, take ourselves on dates, eat breakfast outside, have picnics more often, explore museums and libraries, dress like Elle Woods for school, make sure all of our stationary is super cute, play music while cleaning up, get dolled up even to go grocery shopping. let’s always feel pretty and find the beauty in each day

procrastinating! no more putting things off for a later time. the best time is now. whatever’s on your mind, your bucket list, your vision board, put in the work to get it done. don’t let fear or laziness stop you from living life and achieving things.
letting fear hold you back! if you want to go for that job, go for it! if you want to be friends with someone but scared to approach them, do it anyway! they probably want to be friends too and their too shy to say anything. if you like someone tell them! the worst that could happen is them not liking you back and that’s okay, you’ll live! if you want to change your style, aesthetic or hair, do it! life is too short to let fear get in the way. it’s normal to be scared but taking that chance is worth it! even if things don’t go completes as planned atleast you can say you tried and you won’t have to wonder ‘what if’
responding to negativity/allowing people to drain your energy! girl do not give them the satisfaction, IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE. haters and mean people want that reaction out of you, they crave it, so guess what, don’t give it to them. block them and move on with your day. hang up the phone if someone raises their voice at you. it will eat them alive knowing that what they said didn’t make you break a sweat! continue on with your positive, peaceful day. don’t match anyone’s negative energy, maintain your positive energy. remember : only YOU have control over your emotions.
getting in relationships just because you’re bored or lonely! learn to love your own company. learn how to be comfortable doing things on your own. it’s okay to go eat out alone, it’s okay to travel alone, it’s okay to go see a movie alone (stay safe and aware of your surroundings ofcourse), it’s okay to stay home on weekends and just relax. you are the best company you’ll ever have. spend time with yourself
being obsessed with numbers! 1) if you’re trying to start a blog, have a platform, you can’t obsess over your follow count! that will drive you insane and it will discourage you. just do what you love, manifest, make posts, hashtag, promote yourself on your other platforms and then let things be. 2) if you’re trying to lose weight or gain weight, do it the healthy way and plan a time to weigh yourself – for example : twice a month .. (don’t obsess over the number on the scale) just eat right, workout and you will get the results you want
COPYING! for the love of God let’s be original. no more stealing other people’s tweets, ideas, content etc. lets be creative and come up with our own thoughts and ways of doing things.
staying in unhealthy relationships and environments! even if you’re scared of being alone, even if you’re scared of change, you owe it to yourself to leave these situations. if he/she isn’t treating you right, leave. if that job isn’t good for your mental health, get a new one. if your family is toxic, distance yourself. don’t deal with unnecessary stress. don’t stay somewhere just because you don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings or just because it’s familiar. you have to put your feelings first and do what’s best for you. you will eventually be okay and your future self will thank you

Rory Gilmore is known for being an academic it girl, these are some habits Rory uses to achieve good grades

💗start your homework/assignments as soon as you get them - in an episode Rory said how she completes her assignments on Friday so she can spend time on Saturday doing extra credit, this shows how Rory does not procrastinate over her assignments, instead she tackles them first so she wont fall behind
💗make use of flashcards - Rory is seen throughout different episodes using flashcards, this is a form of active recall recall which helps her memorise information
💗pay attention in class - Rory does not daydream or get distracted during lessons, instead she is always seen paying attention to the teachers and taking notes
💗ask questions in class - do not feel embarrassed to raise your hand up in lessons even if you feel like you should already know the answer to your question, do not risk your grade by being anxious to raise your hands in class, Rory never felt embarrassed asking questions, so you shouldnt as well !
💗do not let a bad grade hold you back - Rory once got a D in one of her exams, she did feel sad about it however she didnt give up, instead she used this bad grade as an opportunity to find her weakness and improve
