I saw an interesting (and very pretty!!) girl the other day and her look sticked into my mind for days, so I had to draw her! I worked from a really faded memory, so I wouldn’t be suprised if this were a totally different person lol. I also vaguely remember her art piece she was carrying, so I incorporated some details and colors I remebered into the background as well. It’s a different digital piece overall because I was experimenting with different brushes and ways to shade and color the drawing.

Very quick portrait of Hikari! I've recently started reading Bleach for the first time (even though I have a first volume for almost 8 years now) and I'm getting back into my fangirl mode lol. It's soo much better than the anime! The art! Oh my god I love it. I'm still only 120 chapters in (which is nowhere near the middle).

I finally managed to catch the raw and most Hikari-like expression I could. I think she's finally becoming a character I've always wanted to create almost 10 years ago when I first drew her.

I'm slowly finishing writing a story about them, which is almost 150 pages long now. I've been writing it for almost two years now and I even wanted to drop it once, since it took so long. I've decided to give them a bad ending few months ago and it made me so sad that I had to draw them being happy and carefree, lol

I really like making black and white digital paintings. I noticed that the first work I've ever done of these two was also black and white, so it's a nice way to finish this "era". I also tried to include more texture in this painting, but I'm not really sure if it's visible.

Sometimes you get so into your first real dnd game that you just... read a book about it? Make your own OC with a backstory? And make a whole-ass visualisation of them? I played my first DnD games this weekend and it was soo much fun! I'm still not really good with real-life roleplaying (my OC turned out to be different from my plan, because I couldn't play this character at all lol) and understanding the system behind this type of games, but I enjoyed it a lot. This game was set up in Percy Jackson universe. My character Rulanda (full name Rulanda Šedá, it's a type of wine, lol), a daughter of Dionysos.

I found wonderful photos of The GazettE's concert from 2002! I unironically like this raw and weird aesthetic lol. It just looks so bad that it's actually good. I love how raw and genuine these photos feel - nothing is taken professionaly, this concert probably took place in a small venue and these boys are just having fun with their audience. It makes them seem human - I viewed them as some kind of mythical creatures when I was younger, lol. I can't belive it was almost twenty years ago! Time sure flies. But it doesn't change how amazing they are! This time there's Reita and a very rare gem that genuinely suprised me, Yune - there are not many photos of him, since he left the band year after it was formed (2003), so I'm glad I was able to find some photos that aren't the (very known and widely used) official 1st album photoshoot. I can't belive there's so much history on the internet!

I'd love to paint every photo from the photoset I've found, since I love every single photo, but I think this much is enough from now. lol

Some unwearable garments I designed out of boredom while staying the night at the uni dorm.

I'm not really into fashion and I don't really understand how anything fashion-realted works, but I've always liked designing these and I thought that I could post some of these once in a while and try not to feel so insecure about it, lol. I don't know why, when it comes to designing clothes, I always feel like I'm pretending to be someone else?? I don't get it myself!

I dress my OCs in really boring clothing, so I really go all-in when it comes to these extra outfits, lol

I was thinking of flowers and roots while I was making this, so I guess that was my mine source of inspiration.

A fun quick Powerwolf fanart I've made for my mum. She was forcing me to do a fanart for at least a week now, so I had to do it, otherwise there wouldn't be peace in our household. lol

I'm not really skilled at painting manly men and animals and it really shows. But I at least tried something a little bit different, stepping out of my comfort zone is always interesting and entertaining. So here's Attila and a little wolfie!

I can't express my gratitude towards people who put all these weird photos of them on the internet... thank you for providing me with a dose of everyday bless lol.

Also, I've found the wonderful world of cheki, aka the best source for cursed images of jrockers taken witth a flash... what a paradise for cursed photos. lol

I've tried to change backgrounds and colours and especially not to depend so much on the original photo, because I don't want to slip into (a very bad attempt of) hyperrealism. I'm still bad at stylization faces while staying recognizable, so I must work on that.

I was browsing through my old sketchbook and stumbled upon my favorite OC, which I just had to draw again after a very long time. <3

It's a double portrait of the same character Yukichi, a many centuries old male kitsune spirit who is known for seducing men in a female disguise named Yukihime. After he seriously fell in love for the first time and got his heart drastically broken, he decided to stop with the whole seducing thing and just live his best life in the village as far from people as possible.

There's an alternative future where he's approached by a young man from the village who falls in love with him and they live happily ever after. Because you know, my baby Yukichi just deserves a happy ending after struggling with his internalized homophobia for literally centuries. lol

What I like about this OC is just the thought of a mythical creature living his best retired life in the village, not doing anything scandalous, just doing chores, growing herbs and vegetables in his little garden and sometimes (when he's feeling adventurous) baking bread.

I think that the inspiration with Tomoe from Kamisama Hajimemashita is more than obvious here. I just love that dude. And the anime/manga in general. Long live domesticated kitsunes!

I (finally) came up with a base design for Hikari's zanpakuto Hiroyuki!

His design that I made back in 2012 wasn't good enough and I felt like it's finally time to do something with it. Hiroyuki's powers were poison and light before - I have no idea why this combination?? Maybe her green hair made me do it?? lol

I only kept the light power of the zanpakuto. And since I really like ancient greek and ancient rome culture, I got really inspired by the god Aether. This thought process resulted into this (probably too multi-cultured) design.

I liked the thought of holy-looking, almost unreal spiritual being, who's a zanpakuto of this huge dumbass. But the fact they're tied together is because they are both, in fact, huge idiots. lol

Since Hikari lacks any thought process and strategy in fighting, Hiroyuki does too, which makes them potentially strong, but actually really useless duo. Maybe if they both thought a little before speaking or acting, they could be really strong and respected, but their hastiness and stubborness is in the way.

So here they are, just doing their stuff and posing as weirdly as they normally do, lol.

I think that I'll definitely change his outfit in the future, but so far I really like his sun-like crown and his ancient-greek-like-profile.

The GazettE will celebrate their 19th anniversary soon together with a new single and album release!

I can't fucking wait. I've been their fan for a literal decade and even though I've tried to find other genres to listen to, I always end up having a rampant annual obssesion over them. lol

What I love about them the most though is their pure visual kei looks from the early 2000s. I love these colours, this style, their dorkiness captured on blurry and oversaturated and overcontrasted photos and just them being the typical twenty year olds. Since most of them (Uruha, Kai and Reita) are celebrating their 40th birthday this year, I thought that a great blast from the past would be nice to paint. Sorry guys, love you, I didn't mean to do you like that lol.

Can't wait to hear what the bois made this time! A comeback after 3 years is just something to be uncontrollably obssesed about. <3
