2022-03
I finished my first read of the year a few days ago!
Tumblr media
Daughter of the Pirate King was an okay book. I give it 3 out of 5 stars.
The main character is definitely entertaining but a bit overpowered. There’s little to no weaknesses with her and that can get a bit boring. Despite this, I still plan on buying the sequel soon. I’m eager to know what happens next.

2022-02
I totally forgot to make an update on yesterday’s blog so I decided to combine what I did yesterday with what I did today.
Yesterday, I went for a haircut as planned. That was probably my top goal for yesterday so I’m happy I accomplished it. After my haircut, I stopped at Ulta to grab some hair products that will hopefully make my hair look a little thicker. I also stopped by the bookstore to grab a few new books from the clearance section. I got Diary of an Oxygen Thief by anonymous, Plague Land Reborn by Alex Scarrow and Serial Killers and Psychopaths by Charlotte Grieg and John Marlowe. Lastly, I stopped into Walmart and grabbed a bottle of collagen as it is very good for your hair, skin and nails.
Today was almost as eventful but overall, a pretty relaxed day. I went out with a friend to hang out. We stopped at the bookstore (maybe I should live there) and I considered buying a record. In the end, I decided to go with a Wreck This Journal. I’m super excited to start that and include little updates in the blog for this. We then stopped at Target. I only grabbed a few snacks from there as I wanted to save some of my money and not blow it all in 2 days. My friend and I also exchanged Christmas gifts. She got me a plush dinosaur and another book. This one is Behind Closed Doors by B.A. Paris.
So, within the past two days, I am up 4 more books and finally bought a wreck this journal. Tomorrow, my mom is hauling my ass up at 5:30am to head to the gym. I was especially smart with waiting to put clothes into the wash two hours ago so hopefully they’re not wrinkled in the dryer in the morning haha.
I’ll probably spend most of my time on the treadmill or on the bikes. I want to start with legs and work up to lifting. I’m not sure how smart of an idea that is more me, but I suppose we will see.
So that’s how these past two days have gone and how tomorrow morning will go. I’ll probably be switching my posts to later in the day just so I can easily cover what I’ve done and how I’m trying to improve my year.
I’m probably going to clean up my room a little bit now and I’m shooting for being asleep in bed by 10:30. I’ll tidy, get into some comfy clothes and have a bit of no screen reading time to wind down before bed.
I hope everyone's new year so far is going great! I’m excited to look back and see how much I’ve accomplished.

2022-01
It feels strange to say today is the fourth of January 2022. It feels like the years are speeding by and taking forever all at the same time. Today I would like to get my hair cut as it is beginning to look all overgrown and such. I decided I want to get it cut to a pixie one more time and then not touch it again for the rest of the year (minus using hair dye). So, some additional goals would be to just shower and get ready to go for a cut and then read some of my book while I wait to have access to a car.
I am also going to stop at the pharmacy while I am out and get some photos from the rest of 2021 printed out so I can finish my 2021 scrapbook. I had decided last year that I would try to make a scrapbook every year just for something to look back on as I had fun with friends through the year. People typically only start scrapbooks for big trips such as Disney or a family vacation, but I find the little things as the most important moments in life.
The last thing I’d like to do today is tidy my room up. I started the year off with a messy and cluttered room and I would like to change that. So, I will check back in with a post at the end of the day and share what I’ve accomplished for the day.
Thanks for reading! <3

About me
Since this is a brand-new blog, I would like to do a bit of an introduction as nobody here would know who I am.
My name is Pj. No that is not my real name but it’s what I prefer to be called when I’d liked to keep my identity to myself. I am 18, almost 19, years old. I am a female and I typically go by she/her but recently I decided to experiment with she/they.
In my free time, I like to play ukulele, read, crochet and write. I’m not the best at any of them but I have fun while doing it and that’s all that matters. I also enjoy playing different types of games such as minecraft, the sims 4, stardew valley, don’t starve together, house flipper, etc. etc.
I’m always looking to make new friends as well! If we have similar interests don’t be afraid to send me a dm. I’d love to someday create a group chat that includes all online friends :)

2022
With the new year here and just like almost everyone else in the world, I want to take this as an opportunity to start fresh. I want to learn how to put myself first and love myself for who I am. If you asked me to do this in 2019 before the pandemic hit, I’d tell you I would never do that cause it would seem selfish in my eyes. With the new outlook I have now though, I see putting yourself first as a way to improve your mental health positively.
The 2020 quarantine was honestly a blessing to me until the summer ended. I was more myself then ever and I was happy. I didn’t have to worry about school or finals and there were no report cards to stress over. I mean sure most of my time was being cooped up in my room. I was either on facetime with a few of my friends or playing among us since the game had become especially popular at the time. But I was happy. I still think back on the nights that we’d all hop on Rave and pick a movie to watch together even if it was well past 12 in the morning. Sometimes I wish I can go back to that quarantine and relive it. I’d never take a second for granted.
2021 rolled along quicker than expected. It was a rough year. There were many bumps in the road such as losing my aunt a day before my birthday, both of my brothers moving out and in with our father, more than 50% of my family dropping me and no one in the legal system believing my story. But here I am in 2022. I made it. And I have an awful feeling that this year isn’t going to be the greatest either. But nonetheless, I will try my best to stay optimistic about it all.
With that being said, I want to make a list of New Year’s Resolutions. I never really made a list before as I never thought of myself as the type to follow through with any of it, but I will try my best.
Pj’s List of Things to Do In 2022
Read 20 Books
Crochet 10 items
Practice writing
Maybe get a gym membership?
Eat healthier
Finally buy a car
Work on being more vocal
Continue learning ukulele
Prepare for college
And this is where Tumblr comes in. I want to blog and keep track of the resolutions. So, follow along if you’d like to see reviews of books, photos on crochet items and some writing prompts.
Let’s see what 2022 has in store for us :)
