QUESTIONS FOR YOUR OCs

What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

How easy is it for your character to laugh?

How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)

How easy is it to earn their trust?

How easy is it to earn their mistrust?

Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?

What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?

What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child

Do they swear? Do they remember their first swear word?

What lie do they most frequently remember telling? Does it haunt them?

How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?

How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach?

What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color?

What animal do they fear most?

How do they speak? Is what they say usually thought of on the spot, or do they rehearse it in their mind first?

What makes their stomach turn?

Are they easily embarrassed?

What embarrasses them?

What is their favorite number?

If they were asked to explain the difference between romantic and platonic or familial love, how would they do so?

Why do they get up in the morning? 

How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)? 

How does envy manifest itself in them (they take what they want, they become resentful, etc)? 

 Is sex something that they’re comfortable speaking about? To whom? 

 What are their thoughts on marriage? 

 What is their preferred mode of transportation? 

 What causes them to feel dread? 

 Would they prefer a lie over an unpleasant truth? 

 Do they usually live up to their own ideals? 

 Who do they most regret meeting? 

 Who are they the most glad to have met? 

 Do they have a go-to story in conversation? Or a joke? 

 Could they be considered lazy? 

 How hard is it for them to shake a sense of guilt? 

 How do they treat the things their friends come to them excited about? Are they supportive? 

Do they actively seek romance, or do they wait for it to fall into their lap? 

Do they have a system for remembering names, long lists of numbers, things that need to go in a certain order (like anagrams, putting things to melodies, etc)? 

What memory do they revisit the most often? 

How easy is it for them to ignore flaws in other people? 

How sensitive are they to their own flaws?

How do they feel about children? 

How badly do they want to reach their end goal? 

If someone asked them to explain their sexuality, how would they do so?

D) Have they always had the same physical appearance, or have you had to edit how they look? E) Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you? Headcanon for Cap’n 3; they have gained weight since their retirement, though it’s due to the Octo Expansion left them severely traumatised to the point where they couldn’t touch a weapon anymore without getting visions of Tartar.

Interesting Headcanon! Captain Kit has a much stronger mental state, she still can pick up weapons and battle without issues of memories of Tartar. The joy of having the Twin agent 8s Kirby and Kirby around really make the whole situation less painful to her. She gained two new family members who love her, and her them.

Buuuut She did retire from Ranked matches shortly before she went into the Metro, and has stayed retired and rarely goes out into turf battles too. So she 100% has gained some weight since she was last in ranked battles. She takes walks daily to help keep her health in a positive direction but she does spend a lot of time sitting and watching tournaments being streamed or re-plays from high leveled competitors.

COMIC: Uranus’ Original Name?

Space facts!

Sir William Herschel tried to name the planet “Georgium Sidus” after King George III.

This means “George’s Star”.

Johann bode suggested it be named “Uranus”, after the greek god of the sky.

It is the only planet named after a Greek god!

Returning to my roots, long long ago I use to almost exclusively draw Sonic characters. It was like I never really stopped drawing them. I liked Sonic enough that I wanted to draw someone for him to be smiling for. I went with my obvious choice :>

For those not familiar, Tempest lost her whole family to Tartar, Plum managed to survive due to events that happened earlier on before Tempest's escape and before the Twin agent 8's where made and released. Plum was taken from his parents early on, as a way to manipulate his parents into doing as Tartar orders them (which works for some time). During this time Plum would be taken and set to be dipped in a boiling sanitation bath, during this another octarian had also been dipped but the results where more monsters-like and caused a breach in containment. Tartar being busy, Plum began to wiggle and just as he was beginning to be dipped in and his skin was burning he got free and scrambled for the nearest exit out he could find, a drain pipe. This pipe lead out into the Inkopolus bay where he flailed in the water trying to keep himself from drowning. He could hear the sounds of Salmonids over the waves and began calling for help in their language having learned a little from his dad. This was how Pancake, Kiwi, Burger, Onion ring and Soda found him. They brought him onto a small rocky island where they agreed they'd help the little octoling. To start this Octoling needed something done about his bleeding and damaged skin. The salmonids decided to each cut part of their skin off from their tail and together had enough to cover Plum's wounds. They stayed on this island while he healed which due to the sanitation and their kindness it was fast but it also changes Plum forever. He is no longer just an Octoling but he is Salmonid now too, he can enter water and swim and even breath under the waves without any issue.

After finding him badly hurt, they helped him recover and gave him a name. The group will call him Spicy Plum, or Spicy, or in only Kiwi's case Plum. They renamed him because after the trauma of the events that led him to being out there and in the condition they found him in he had for gotten his name and a lot of his past beside feelings and fuzzy images. Thinking about it made his head hurt so badly that Kiwi told him to just not think about it any more, and for the longest time he wouldn't.

Burger, Onion Ring and Soda are all siblings who flunked out of their training as flyfish pilots, and as fish stick flyers. They don't listen to orders very well and prefer to be playing. They play with their new Octoslamon brother playing games of chase where he will grab one of them gently in his mouth and run off as the other two give chase to 'save' them. He will also juggle them in the air and throw them around, they all find it a lot of fun! When these three meet Galen they are star struck by him and become his groopies quickly. Galen uses his brush and in one smooth motion puts his lush hair back into well groomed look, these three are squeakling like fan girls at a concert. Galen will get a small ego from this for a while, but in the end hes mostly just really happy to have other salmonid friends again.

New info! The group of salmonids that found him have a Goldie a Chum and 3 small fries. The Goldie is named Pancake and has the vibes and voice of Freddy Mercury. They sing every word they speak and where kicked out of the school because they’re annoying and their voice sometimes will cause disorientation in other salmonids. The others are use to Pancake’s way of talking and singing in general their voice keeps away other salmonids who might eat them otherwise.
