Some more doodles of my spideysona Irina! I'm definitely gonna post more of her lore here, but for now, here's some sketches of her, with some written notes!!
VANISHING-SPIDER LORE DOWN BELOW:
Irina's a filipino-chinese immigrant who moved to New Jersey from her homeland. Her story actually takes place in Queens, as an Electrochemical engineering student.
She got an externship under Oscorp but accidentally got involved in a freak accident including an authentic demon core replica, and a spider.
One of the few things she also picked up from her canon event is Subatomic Permeation (think X-Men's Shadowcat, but worse). She can phase through inorganic matter and use the momentum to catapult herself into her enemies.
Her molecular composition was irreversibly altered by the radiation and the Spider bite, which made her subject of interest for people like Norman Osborn, her Doc. Ock, etc.
One of these people was Richard Parker, a scientist working under Oscorp at the time of her externship. He's also the father to a young Peter Parker.
He helped her learn more about her powers as a mentor figure while also trying to dig into the conspiracy within the company.
He sucked at doing all three if you couldn't tell.
Stay tuned for more! If you've got any more questions about Van-Van I'd love to answer them.
