Aoetic desecration and S.O.S both having this rising section of guitar, but in AD it ends after just a few rounds whereas in S.O.S it just keeps climbing and climbing and climbing higher and higher; and the way that section version of that guitar section puts me in mind of the visuals of Nathan climbing that hill during Knubbler's training, making it feel as if S.O.S is triumphant not effortlessly but with great effort and exertion to keep rising and not falling- because failing or giving up is easier sometimes but that doesn't make it the right thing to do, same as sometimes persevering and succeeding and doing the right thing is sometimes hard fucking work but that doesn't make it worthless or not something you should do.
This isn't a hidden theme, its just textual it's literally what Nathan's arc entails, i'm not saying anything big nor smart lol- but i do just like how narratively the instrumentals of the movies music drive the movies themes home too in this way! It adds so much more to feel and sink your teeth into when it comes to this plotline about him having to put the effort in to be a better person and to grow and do the right thing instead of just resorting to giving up or falling back on old habits and what he knows and does best!!

anyone else finding it really, really personally nauseating that the pjo show would remove gabes entire character and replace him with someone less abusive to make sally a Strong Female Character. like wow, im sure glad that youve proven that women who are abused are the REAL threat to feminism, and they should just try talking back more!! what a good message to send to abused kids. sorry, kid. i guess you just didnt argue hard enough and #Own your abuser into seeing how cool and strong you are. what do you mean that arguing with an abuser will only make them hurt you more? but look how snappy and cool and feminist sally is now!!! youre clearly just being abused wrong.

martin septim / godhood thoughts
i chose the worst time to get obsessed with oblivion, its exam season and my brain is crying over a polygon potato man
the fact that martin ascended to godhood / partial godhood through uniting with akatosh, only to immediately give it up in sacrificing himself to stop the oblivion crisis, speaking to the selflessness and purity of his soul.............................
contrast with the tribunal who also reached apotheosis but were selfish / power-hungry / etc etc pick your adjectives, but who reigned for much longer a period due to their vices and unwillingness to give up their power
and this goodness, which would ironically make him the perfect human-god (as a contrast to talos who achieved godhood basically via conquering / gaining power) is also the same thing to make him give up his divinity immediately, ensuring he wouldn't remain a god
