❛  ah, well ... you can laugh, if you'd like. ❜ because even ikki knows this, he, looks quite unusual; dressed up fashionably with a suit until one may reach his face, a pair of now lifted sunglasses making a strenuous effort to push the band tying a sprig of mistletoe to his head off for good. it's one of his least favourite inventions offered to them by their manager, the maids sheeps cafe offering deals for an entire week in order to attract customers to be able to catch a different member of their staff beneath the mistletoe each day so that they may have enough to spring enough profit in their general direction to close early before the holidays once more, but the fact that it remains done now ... well, ikki finds himself relieved, a feeling lifted further by spotting an ever familiar shade of pink in what was supposed to be a very fast walk home. ❛  but still, i hope i can convince you enough to help this poor soul out. ❜ some might call it overkill, perhaps, the way his fingers rest so deftly upon the band and offers a weak tug to pull it off, biting his bottom lip in an attempt a excursion despite it's visible buckle mere millimetres away. ❛  it appears that even i, in lieu of all the tea and cake i have taken out today, cannot afford to get this off, ❜ another tug, marked with the playfulness beneath his gaze. ❛  and no passing kiss of the cheek has been able to restore the strength to my side, despite it. ❜ merely followed up with another sigh, chuckle all so serious for a somewhat cheeky suggestion. it is not her problem to fix, after all, but he is curious to see how far his previous favours can go. ❛  so ... you won't mind me asking for some better help, right? ❜ it is with a smile does he guide her hand directly before them, a press of his lips to her knuckles the only warning he brings to lifting both hands and lowering his face to meet her own. mere seconds of silence offered in correspondence until he presses his lips so pleasantly against her own, refusing to let go until a prominent zip can be heard in their near distance ---- the hat falling between them both, only met with something of a chuckle on his end. it's a poor excuse, he can tell, but that doesn't mean he will stop himself for reaching for another, and another, pressed between an ignorant crowd of people and the twinkle of the nights sky. ❛  thank you, mukuro. ❜ he murmurs some minutes later, lips almost as red as the blood that has risen to his cheeks. if she'd like him to, he'd say it was the cold, but truthfully ... well, they both know it's for her.

Mukuro had sucked in her bottom lip to keep herself from letting out a laugh when she saw him, she had heard that the cafe he worked at was having some sort of deal or event but she hadn't imagined what had been planned was as goofy as this。 She had figured that it would have been something more along the lines of shared dessert with a member of staff after how many purchases or something, but the mistletoe headband was just。。。 too goofy and wasn't something Mukuro expected to see when Ikki called out to her。 

Although, the idea probably worked very well。

When Ikki gave her permission to laugh, Mukuro still wouldn't do it ( although a few snorts of muffled laughs would try and sneak out of her tightly closed mouth ) but her eyes would continued to dart between his face and the headband。

There was a playful coo of an ' aww ' left her lips when she saw how Ikki " attempted " to take off the headband, 「poor thing~ they worked you so hard~」 it was hard for her to keep a straight face, 「of course I'll help you~」There was a soft dusting of pink on her cheeks when Ikki's lips met Mukuro's knuckles and she let him guide her hands to where he wanted。 Mukuro could feel the blush on her face darkening slightly when his face came down to meet her own。

She wasn't too sure who was the one who closed the gap between their lips and she almost had forgotten about the headband。 Her mind whirling as they kissed until her fingers felt the clasp of the headpiece he wore and undid it, causing the article to fall between them。

Ikki's chuckle was met with one of her own before their lips met again and again, Mukuro resting her arms on his shoulders as a few fingers ran through his hair " fixing " it just in case the headband had messed it up。 Not in the least caring that they were in the middle of a rather busy sidewalk。 

「You're welcome. Now~ is your strength restored or would you like me to accompany you home just in case~?」 Mukuro's voice still held some playfulness to it as her own cheeks would also be tinged a deep pink。
