Tank has this one really old and ratty wolf plushie that he physically cannot sleep without. It looks just like Gabe when he shifted, and he’s always been attached to it but ever since he passed he’s been extra possessive and attached to it, a form of coping.

Freelancer has an old decently worn but still presentable white seal plushie from the Monterey bay aquarium, they only really let Caelum play/cuddle with it when outside of their supervision, they don’t even let Gavin do it. Everytime they go to bed they usually hug it and sometimes hold it during movies they know they have a high chance of falling asleep to, and let me tell you Gavin adores the sight of them all sleepy and curled up holding the seal in their arms with their head on his lap

Babe has this teeennny Pomeranian plushie with a white hoodie with bear ears on it that they keep either in their purse or on the mantle, it fits right in their palm and they got it at a mall one day and it stuck with them ever since!

Angel has scary dog privilege everywhere they go. If not David then Tank and if not Tank then literally anyone no one is getting them ever

Tank has hand tremors from nerve damage due to fights he’s gotten into with many different empowered’s, and he can’t do a lot of small detail work but he still loves drawing. His art style has just changed a bit, a lot more sketchy and unnerving sometimes! It took him a bit to relearn, but it was worth it.

Hi there!! I'd LOVE to do a Legato x Reader for you, I especially have a soft spot for kids so I'm excited to do this one.

I'm focusing more on Maximum Legato, since we only catch a glimpse of him in Stampede and don't really get the full story of him in 98, and let's be frank: if you're a fan of Legato it's probably because you read Maximum. Probably.

Legato Bluesummers x Reader: Raising a Kid Together

Content Warnings: General allusions to Legato's past. If you've read the manga, you know what I'm talking about--but nothing in-depth, more there as an explanation of his overall feelings. Also, implies some sort of "good ending" where people survive. I just like things to be happy...

Let's get one thing crystal clear: Legato isn't super open to the idea of kids--at first. Much like MediocreAnomaly's "baby fever" headcanon list, Legato's had a hard enough time as it is, and didn't get a childhood himself. Trying to raise a kid when you have no idea how it's supposed to be like? No way. No how.

But if it's you... Well, maybe for you, he could change? I mean, if you've gotten far enough in a relationship that you could even bring up the concept of children... I think he could at least hear you out.

Regardless of how a child for the two of you comes into the world, it's going to be a bit rocky at first.

If it's a natural-born child, he'd definitely be fretting over you over the whole course of it... Reading every book he can to possibly prepare for the day and making sure you're always well cared for.

If you're instead planning for adoption, he's still reading up on everything he needs to know for the age range of the child. Double- and triple-checking paperwork and documents.

Speaking of reading up--you'd probably catch him at least once or twice falling asleep in a chair while trying to read through a book on childcare. Cover him up with a blanket, put the book on the side table, plant a little kiss on his head and assure him that he's going to be a great dad.

He's a worrier at his core, but he tries not to let this weakness show, especially around you, his partner. He's afraid that his worrying will make you worry, because if someone as intimidating and cold as Legato Bluesummers can get worried, then there's no telling what it'd do to you!

With a newborn child, he's afraid to even hold them at first. It takes a lot of convincing. But once you do break through that fear of his, he's completely taken by this little life that's now in your hands to take care of. A little glimmer of hope, that even though he didn't have the best start, this child can. He can be the change he wants to see.

A similar situation would happen with an adopted child, where depending on the age, he'd be a little cagey about spending time with them and taking care of them--he'll be watching you for guidance, seeing the way you take care of your child, mentally writing it down.

Once he gets into the swing of things, he's being the best parent he can possibly be. Not only supporting you as his partner, but also supporting your child and all three of you as a collective family unit. He'd lay down his life for you, and now that same sentiment has been spread to your child.

Though it's taken a long time for the world around you to become (slightly) more peaceful, you both want your kid to be raised in a safe, loving, and peaceful environment, without having to worry about warfare or violence.

He's actually very good at house-chores. Like a little house husband (who would have guessed from his appearance?). It must be something with how the tasks are repetitive and orderly--this gets cleaned, that goes there, etc. etc.

Also cue many cute moments of your child growing and trying to put on Legato's boots or pauldrons. You both hope they'll never have to wear anything like that to intimidate enemies, and maybe just enjoy it for the style (and for reminding them of their dad Legato!).

Speaking of their dad Legato: he didn't feel right being called by a title like dad or father, so he prefers to introduce himself to the child as Legato. It sounds a little strange at first with you trying to encourage the child to say your title of mommy/daddy/insert a preferred title here (if they're at the age when they're just learning words) and Legato just goes with his name, but you might get some babble back like Leggie or Gago. You find this funny. Legato doesn't.

Hey, how about extended family? I think the Gung-Ho Guns would be itching to visit--well, some of them, at least. Elendira, for example, wants to dote on the new child like an auntie. Legato has a variable amount of patience for this, ranging from "leave" to "leave right now". It's up to you, ultimately, to decide who gets to come see the child and who doesn't.

Knives silently approves of the child from the shadows, but might still mutter something about weak little human babies can't even walk or protect themselves. It's up to you, ultimately, to decide how hard Legato slaps him for that.

It's late at night when you come into the living room and see something you'd never thought you'd see. It's Legato and your child, sitting together on one of the chairs, kid in his lap, book propped up in his hands--and they're both fast asleep, just like Legato had done before when he was fretting over all this.

The two are too cute--you can't help but smile as you bring a blanket out and tuck it over the two of them, putting the book on the side table and giving both your child and Legato a kiss.

He really did end up as a great dad.

End Notes: I really hope you enjoyed this! I don't normally write for Legato like this so this was really my first time. I honestly see Legato as a kid of my own, so this was sort of like writing for a grandchild lol. I think Legato could be a good dad, he's got all the potential in his heart when he has you by his side.

The Graham/Serizawa bug has taken hold of me, and I've taken it upon myself to increase the amount of content for them. I took inspiration from the Cozy and Content OTP prompt from @novelbear, and came up with this little ditty.

As a backstory, the two are in Monarch's command post in Alaska, and I headcanon Vivienne as being someone who gets cold very easily. Characterization was hard to nail down, but I'd like to think that Graham and Serizawa are more open in private to each other. Either way, enjoy!

“We should get up.”

“We should… but we won’t.”

Ishiro warmly chuckled at Vivienne’s muffled retort and looked down at the bundle of blankets cuddled up against him. All he could see was a pair of big, light brown eyes innocently looking up at him, and as those eyes slowly and sleepily blinked, he found it hard to bite back a smile as he reached over to brush his thumb over her warm cheekbone.

“Aren’t you worried about getting too hot?” he asked. “We were asleep for over an hour and a half.”

“I’m fine,” the younger woman stubbornly insisted. “It’s -24 degrees outside, and I’m trying to conserve body heat so I don’t freeze.”

The older man shook his head in bemusement as he peeled off the layers of blankets to reveal a pouting Vivienne Graham. Her hair was such a mess that he couldn’t help but openly laugh at the sight, causing her pout to deepen.

“What’s so funny?” she demanded as she was pulled on top of the older man, her hair falling over her face as she unsuccessfully tried bending down and burying her head in his neck.

Ishiro merely smiled as he combed his partner’s hair back, brushing it behind her ears. Her bottom lip was slightly jutted out as she played with the hem of his t-shirt, insistent on not making eye contact with him. It was rather endearing, so much so that he couldn’t resist having a bit of fun with it.

“You do know that the outpost is insulated, yes?” he asked, rubbing up and down Vivienne’s legs in an effort to placate her. “I know you get cold easily, but don't you think six blankets is too much?”

She shrugged, grabbing one of his hands and playing with his fingers in a bid to dodge his question, her cheeks flushed from both embarrassment and being cocooned in her nest for so long.

“I suppose so,” she reluctantly admitted, interlinking her fingers with his. “But I was warm. I hadn’t slept that well in ages.”

She did have a point. The two had been working nonstop in decoding some abnormal energy signatures detected in Bikini Atoll, and that coupled with the jetlag from their flight from the Philippines had left them completely exhausted. Vivienne in particular was practically asleep at her desk when they wrapped up for the day earlier, and she hadn’t even stirred when he carried her to bed. Part of him was concerned that she was starting to fall ill, but he supposed they could cross that bridge when they got there.

Right now, all he could do was feel himself melt a little at the sight of his former protege nuzzling into his hand. She still looked quite tired - if not content - and if Ishiro had to be truthful, he himself could have used some more sleep as well. They weren’t going to be needed for the rest of the day, and though he took great pride and passion in his work, the break was admittedly a relief.

Perhaps one more hour wouldn't hurt.

“Come here,” he fondly murmured as he gently pulled Vivienne to where she was laying down on top of him. Almost immediately, she burrowed herself against his chest, curling her fingers into his shirt as her eyes fluttered shut. Pressing a kiss to the top of her head, he whispered into her hair, “I suppose we can sleep in if you need it.”

He's never without a coffee on these tours,, honestly might be unhealthy but we move

The Mane 7 Sleeping Habits

Sci-Twilight Sparkle ✨:

During school season she rarely sleeps on her bed, she´s usually doing school work until late hours at night (and most of them have a deadline like 2 months ahead), so she reaches a point where she can no longer keep going and just dives her head on her desk, using some book or her laptop as a pillow.

Spike tries his best to cover her with a blanket and then jumps on her lap to sleep aswell.

Pinkie Pie 🎈:

Her sleeping schedule is a complete mess, she can either go to sleep very early or she´ll stay up late at night (depending on how many sugar she ate during that day) and on the mean time she´ll be binging some show, talking to Gummy or posting on her social media, she also frequently has some midnight snacks.

Surprinsingly, she wakes up with her energy filled up the next morning.

Rarity 💎:

She takes around 30 minutes to an hour to get ready to sleep, while she takes a relaxing hot bubble bath to relief stress, cleaning off the remainder of her make up for the day, brushing her hair so she won´t wake up with knots on it the next day and taking some before bed pictures to her followers (that usually reach at least 200 likes on her socials).

And ofcourse, she can´t sleep without her trusty handcrafted sleeping mask.

Fluttershy 🦋:

Her bed is probably the most comfy of all of them, atleast 60% of it is filled with plushies on top of snuggling with Angel when going to sleep, for extra softness she sleeps on a sleeping robe Rarity made for her birthday, she also sets up some aromatizers to help her fall asleep and sometimes reads some manga tome while she´s fully tired.

Applejack 🍎:

Much like Twi, the last thing she does before going to bed are her chores, so it´s safe to say she´s quite tired once she´s done and heads up for a good night of sleep, it´s pretty much a 50/50 if she takes a shower and change into her pajamas to go to sleep (when not, she pretty much just takes off her hat and boots, unfastens her belt, and lay down on her sweaty work clothes), and that if she even manages to get to her room and just collapses on the living room´s couch (to which either Winona or Apple Bloom will come by and take a nap next to her aswell).

Rainbow Dash 🌈:

She does some stretches before going to bed, since it helps her burning down the remainder energy she got, she doesn´t exactly goes to sleep late, BUT, what she does is that it takes her some time falling asleep, so she stays some time rolling on bed or picks up her phone to chat with her friends (spoiler alert: 9/10 times it will be Applejack to check if she´s still up and messages her random thoughts she has until she falls sleep).

As a bonus: She snore, REALLY hard and also she can´t go to bed without giving Tank a good night kiss on the head (she won´t admit it, but everyone pretty much knows it already).

Sunset Shimmer 🔥:

She spends her night time gaming, so between match and match she´ll keep saying to herself that after that one she´ll go to sleep, which ends up being a lie and she ends up passing on her couch like at one in the morning.

There´s also been times where she fell asleep during a stream, so her viewers spent half of the stream watching her sleep to see if they could get a funny clip out of that.

Trixie Lulamoon 🔮:

(I think Trixie is the only one that we never have actually saw her house through the show, so, this is more headcanon than the rest).

I like to think that there´s some seasons where Trixie doesn´t live with her parents, that´s because her dad is a succesfull magician and her mom is his assistant/manager, so there´s time of the year where they are on tour, so she spends that time alone.

Point being, during those times, she doesn´t sleeps at home, so instead she sleeps at a van/RV (Equestria´s Trixie lives on a wagon, so it makes sense, right?) that she parks on the school´s parking lot, so she pretty much takes a step out of the car and she´s already at school (and even at that, she manages to oversleep and being late to class a quarter of times).

Also, I think Viceprincipal Luna very often treats her to a mug of hot chocolate before she goes to sleep, since she stays at the school at night during the week (I just like to think that Luna is this kind of cool teacher that knows how tired the students are during the school year, so she´s really kind and friendly with them).
