24 hours in Gyeongju 🥰 Gyeongju is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Korea and yet it took me approximately 4 years to finally visit… And I already want to go back again! Last year I took you on a trip around the historical areas from the Baekje Kingdom @baekje_historic_areas which was one of the three main kingdoms in Korea between years 18 and 660 A.D. It’s been a while since I got to go on a trip and I definitely miss my little escapes from Seoul 🥲 Last year I got to visit several of the Baekje historical areas but still so many to go… There are three main areas - Buyeo, Iksan and Gongju, which were each the capital of the kingdom at one point during its time. Seoul sunsets... can they get any prettier? 💕 What is your favorite time of the day? It’s all raining in Seoul and suddenly I’m brought back to this little trip that I went on this summer 🌧 Do you enjoy hiking? Where would you like to go the most? The last place I want to show you as a part of my Seoul Theme Tour with @visitseoul_official VR Tour (check it out on their YouTube channel) is one of my favorite hide outs in Seoul - another beautiful temple to transport you through time ❤️ GILSANGSA TEMPLE - 길상사 Everyone who knows I am a huge fan of traveling through time by visiting places from different eras 🏃‍♀️ Seoul has so much to offer in terms of its history, from palaces to museums. But I’d like to recommend a little temple on the South side of Seoul - Gilsangsa is a rather new temple, created form a former restaurant in 1997 but it feels like you are truly in a hundred years older Seoul. It is small but has unique buildings and lovely nature to see. Plus once you walk down the road, you can enter many popular restaurants and cafes, each of which can take you to other decades! What have you been doing this month so far? Before the weather got so chilly we hiked a mountain again, after dodging a city half closed due to some extreme protests... #stressrelief or a source of stress? 😂 In the end it ended up being a perfect day no matter what obstacles ❤️ hard to believe it is winter now looking back at these flowers? 🌸😍 The mountain is Inwangsan 인왕산 a really popular hiking spot as lies right next to the historical center of the city, making it easily accessible 🏃‍♀️ We were right on time to see both the day and the night of Seoul... just as the sun said goodbye 🌤 the fortress lights up at night and you can see the beautiful city lights from the top ❤️ 많은 사람들이 인왕산을 좋아한 가 봐 😂 겨울이 오기 전에 아름다운 서울 경치를 감상하는 것이 가장 좋아요~~ 다리가 너무 아프지 않았으면 좋겠다!
