oh my god, how could i POSSIBLY choose just one? while my writing as a whole varies wildly in quality, pretty much all of them have at least one line i love to death. i'll narrow it down to my top three, though, in no particular order (with the name of the fic that it came from, as well)

"If he was honest with himself (Which, on occasion, he was)... " from tough luck (in a digital world)

"...and with a burst of rage they could almost taste, the decision was made." from there's something satisfying about the gleam of cold metal

"A glance at the clock on the nightstand showed that it was about fuck off 'o clock in the morning..." from sometimes the universe cuts a guy a break (i think this one may actually be my favorite, just because it's funny)

oh yeah, he's a pro at picking up on small things like that; yuri's a lot more perceptive than people give him credit for! does that mean he's always gonna do something about it? no. like i mentioned previously, he puts a lot of stock in independence, so chances are he wouldn't date anyone super needy in the first place. he'd also just prefer if his partner told him directly-- it's less of a hassle that way.

29. how important is having (a) physically attractive partner(s) to your muse?

it helps if they're good-looking, no denying that. it's something he notices and comments on at first, absolutely, but it takes yuri so long to actually want to be with someone that their looks stop being the driving force of his attraction anyway. their actions and values play much larger roles in terms of importance, and a pretty face isn't going to influence that.

tldr: uhhh doesn't matter how hot you are, not being an asshole is sexier 👍

Ended a friendship last week, still buggin me a little bit. We know each other from work for a little of half years, goofin around and sharing memes. Friday at work she asked me to write her a story, and I did.

I basically wrote how a jellyfish is jealous of humans that can dance and sing, but then got swallowed by sea, because nothing - even cheering songs - last forever. So the jellyfish doesn’t need to be jealous.

And then all I got is a “that’s it?”

I said “Yeah, it’s a story bruv”

“That’s not a story”

And it made me real mad, but I tried to be nice and joke around, asking her “well you write me one”

Then she copied all my plot (which is barely a plot because I can’t whip out a novel in 10min) and change words, adding some stuff. I felt so fucking weird and angry and I said “I actually tried to write a story for you, I think I deserve something better than a that’s it”

And she said “but your thing is not meeting what I’m expecting”
