Sitting in my car trying to will myself to go to work.

Didn’t sleep well last night.

Still feel a sense of betrayal from last night’s episode. But I also feel ridiculous for allowing a show to affect me this way.

How am I supposed to act like everything is okay today?

I may not be able to write for Chenford for a while, maybe ever. I brought my laptop to write on my lunch break like usual, but I’m not sure I’ll have the heart for it.

Bedannibal Headcannons prt. 10

Oh no, there was only one bed....

1. Bedelia had booked every part of this trip and wouldn't let Hannibal lay a single finger on the plans after last time. (See prt 7 for details).

2. Everything was going smoothly, from TSA screening to the cab ride after arriving at their destination.

3. That was until they got to the hotel. Bedelia could have sworn she booked two separate hotel rooms with a connecting door. However the booking on the hotels end shows only one suite with only one bed.

4. She knows Hannibal somehow changed the reservation, though she'd never get the truth out of him.

5. Their room is rather spacious, with one king-sized bed, and a couch. She has half a mind to make him sleep on the couch during their stay.

6. But then he offers to sleep on the couch, and Bedelia can't just let him sleep on the couch willingly, her pride won't allow it.

7. They bicker about who's sleeping where for almost an hour until, eventually, Hannibal recommends just going out and enjoying their night. Then they can come back and continue their argument.

8. Somehow they come to the conclusion that they should share a bed. Hannibal probably pushed the suggestion, but Bedelia more than likely ended up insisting on it.

9. Bedelia is a side sleeper and tends to curl up on herself. Hannibal, however, sleeps stretched out and takes up more than his fair half of the bed.

10. Bedelia placed an extra pillow between them so Hannibal would keep his distance.

11. Hannibal however, waits until Bedelia is asleep before moving the pillow out of the way and pulls her to him, curling protectively around her.

12. Bedelia is a sleep talker. Not loudly, or coherently, usually she only mumbles different meaningless words. Hannibal finds it incredibly amusing, and stays up a little to late just listening to her.

13. When Bedelia wakes up the next morning, she wants to be mad at him, though she finds herself to warm, and to comfortable to complain or move right away.

14. Hannibal wakes up not long after her. But he's intent on making the moment last so he pretends to sleep in.

15. Neither of them discuss it afterwards, but there's little to no opposition when it comes to sharing the bed the next night.

it didn't occur to me people would try to use it as reference or writing advice or a resource. that was an oversight on my part probably but the point is: the intended audience of the bingo was people who already knew those things about book history so we could bitch together. not to teach people about parchment. if i wanted to teach people i would have a) shared resources and b) reblogged close-up pictures of manuscripts that help you see their features

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT????
