(twirling my hair and giggling) it's soooo cute of dean to cope with his long-overdue metaphorical rape through desperate, indiscriminate violence because he's lost control of himself in the most intimate way possible and the only way he feels he can take back control over his life is by enacting revenge against his rapist. (blushing and hiding my coy smile) it's sooooooo adorable of him to be so overcome with fear of that rape that he almost completely shuts down and becomes singularly focused on revenge because he doesn't have the emotional skills to actually manage the aftermath of his assault and violation. (batting my eyelashes and biting my lip) it's just sooooooooooo endearing that dean finally gets to experience what sam has dealt with for somewhere around a decade and finally understands it all too intimately, and then copes with it so poorly that he puts everyone around him and himself in danger because he doesn't have the emotional maturity to accept his weakness and fear in any healing capacity, and so that weakness and fear tears him apart and nearly breaks him completely until he's holding on by the thinnest of shreds to whatever he has left of himself. teehee 😊💖💖💖💖💖

Halloooo!

Für eine Hausarbeit befasse ich mich mit der Frage, inwiefern Darstellungen von Dialekten bzw. dem Fehlen dieser die Wahrnehmung und das Verständnis der Untertitel beeinflusst. Dafür würde ich gerne eine kleine (anonyme!) Umfrage durchführen.

Diese besteht aus insgesamt 17 Fragen und beinhaltet einen 01:30 Minuten langen Videoclip aus einer Serie. Obwohl der Clip untertitelt ist, wäre es für die Umfrage natürlich besser, ihn mit Audio zu hören, es ist jedoch nicht zwingend notwendig.

Die Umfrage geht recht schnell, mein Freund hat keine 10 Minuten gebraucht und mir zwischendurch geschrieben. Es werden fast ausschließlich Ankreuzfragen verwendet, ich würde schätzen, dass die Umfrage innerhalb von 15 Minuten durchgeführt werden kann.

Geplant ist, die Umfrage bis zum 13.03. laufen zu lassen.

i am going to cry. bc the way sam was reading a parenting book about gifted kids to learn how to take care of jack and the whole speech he gave him about how he knows what it’s like to be afraid of yourself and “you’re not evil… where did you get that idea?” and waiting for dean to come home so he could give him a Talk and trying to make dean see that this is just like when sam was in his psychic demon blood days AND

dean being like “that’s different” WHY DEAN WHY WAS IT DIFFERENT? it is the exact same you have a kid who is confused and scared of himself and thinks he’s evil and deserves to die (because of you) but instead of being like “no it’s ok we’ll figure this out because i am NEVER going to kill you” like he did with sam, instead he fucking told jack that when (not if) the time came, he was going to kill him personally!

dean was such a dick for this because why is it only different when it’s sam? why will you kill every monster that is also human unless it’s sam? why, when sam is literally begging you to do this one thing for him, do you not listen?

he will move heaven and hell for his baby brother, but everyone else is just cannon fodder.
