Yeah, so I love Cassie

Realistically it may be for the best that she doesn’t come back, because this is Supernatural and she would have been killed off for Dean’s manpain, probably sooner than later. 

But in an alternate universe where Supernatural is capable of being normal about women and black people and they actually let Dean and Cassie become a ride-or-die couple? I’d’ve been hooked right in.

Discussion question(s): How could the message of this episode be conveyed better than ‘racist truck’? 

Discussion: We mostly talked about the dialogue (~what would’ve happened if Sam had been wrong, “I honestly hadn’t thought about it.”) Sam didn’t even consider what would happen if he was wrong—Dean would have died—and how that hurts quite a lot, especially considering how the show ends.
