watching xianxia is so fun because usually when i'm halfway through a drama and i want to reblog things, i have to be really careful when going through the tag and not look too closely at anything to try not to accidentally spoil stuff that happens later

but when i watch a xianxia drama and go through the tag i'm totally fine even if i look at everything because absolutely none of it makes any goddamn sense out of context. like i find gifsets of the main characters getting married. in one they're getting married to other people and in another they're getting married to each other. twice. then i find gifsets of those same characters dying in five different ways. in one scene one is dying in the other’s arms. in the next scene they’re dying together. someone straight up disintegrates into glitter. and i still have no idea if any of them end up alive or dead or married or alone or what on earth happens at the end

They're stuck in a room together. Donnie's trying to figure out how to get out, Leo just kind of went for it, and Mikey and Raph are vibing and chatting about stuffed animals. I think Donnie would feel a little left out while Raph and Mikey vibe and Leo does whatever he does, because for a while it's just been him and Mikey. Idk I'm just bored-

Also a lot of the kids I'm normally around walk around on their toes, and they do this little bouncy step thing, especially when they're excited, so that's why Raph and Mikey are on their toes. Mikey drew on the wall because he ran out of paper. the LITTLE PICTURES ON THE WALLS AND ON THE FLOOR- those were my favorite to draw- they took like 5 minutes and they were so fun.

they doooo! I love Steve's arrangements and additions to the songs so much! Honestly I have no idea; on the one hand it seems like Louis might be more focused on moving towards new stuff, like we are still in FITF mode but by the time it came out he had had it forever and now he's well into LT3 and probably feeling more excited about those new songs and sounds; on the other hand he is very good at working the industry stuff and all the angles and it's basically free money, right? He has said FITF was a further step towards the sound he wants most rather than the finish line, so it's possible that as happened with Walls as he works more on the new one he is getting less enthused about sharing the old stuff; but I think adding Steve's arrangements and just moving away from some of the songs seems to have lessened that this time around, so maybe that isn't a factor. Here's the thing though: the only way it would happen or make sense I think would be if it was recorded pretty recently, like one of the UK shows; the show was still being tweaked and gelled and cooking until then. But if they wanted to make vinyl (and surely they would? fancy double vinyl of live albums is SUCH a thing), that is very very long process of waiting around these days. First you have to get lacquers made (this is the physical thing that the recording is cut into that all the records are duplicates of- if you want quality it has to be more or less handmade by an artisan) but one of the two places left in the world that made those burnt to the ground in 2020 so there's a super long wait time on that. Then it just has to get made; but there are basically ten large scale factories left (again, in the WORLD) that press records so that also has a very long wait time... so it would take forever and the thing is I think we're getting LT3 in the late fall/ early winter (I bet he's using this month to finish it up so it can begin this lengthy process). So I kind of don't think so, like I guess they could do a CD/ cassette/ digital only in late spring and make so much money, and it would be fun, but who knows. Either way, I just hope Louis has Steve do some production work on LT3, I like his sounds and ideas a lot, and that he keeps him around to do his tours forever!

Ridiculous(ly perfect)

On the table, arranged by size: caramel (Draco’s favourite) in the small bowl, apple cinnamon (seasonal) in the medium-size, and salty (Harry’s favourite) in a ridiculously large bucket. All of it was, a little—ridiculous that is. Two blankets neatly folded, enough cushions to drown in. And Draco, in those god-awful slippers, answering the door in what had to be the softest pyjamas in the universe. Looking at Harry, looking like that, swallowing a lot. 

“I thought—was informed that an official movie night is meant to be... Perhaps Weasley didn’t mean it quite the way I…”

Harry had to close his eyes. “It’s perfect. Looks like such a nice, erm, fabric. Your pyjamas. Comfortable.”

“Oh.” He stood there for a second, or a million, before, “I have another pair, a fresh one. Would you like to? I could get them!”

Leaving Harry here, with all the popcorn and two large bottles of coke (which Harry didn’t even drink. Also didn’t know how to tell Draco when he declared, proudly, that he ‘managed to obtain’ the most ‘popular muggle drink’ Harry probably ‘remembers from his childhood’). Not knowing how to contain this silly, exaggerated feeling in his chest, this lump in his throat.

He melted on the sofa, trying not to imagine having Draco sitting very close, cuddling up against him, the way he only did when he was distracted. Usually this happened in Harry’s sham of a flat, a long-day, after-work type thing with Draco’s berry cider and whatever film they managed to find. Never planned, never like this, like… well. Harry certainly doesn’t prepare so much for them.

(He just makes sure the pantry’s always stocked with cider, that’s all. And keeps his blue hoodie for Draco when he inevitably gets cold. Hardly any work. Nothing compared to any of this.)

Draco came back, with an even softer pair of pyjamas, if such a thing existed. “You don’t have to, really. Only if—I could change. No? You really want to? All right. Let me just set up the film then. It’s, erm, Weasley said you liked it. You can go change while I… oh.”

Harry didn’t realise how close he was, only when he got a good whiff of Draco’s cologne. Appley-sweet, entirely intoxicating. He forgot what he was going to say.

“Erm.”

There was something about it, almost overpowering, the pink in his cheeks. “H-Harry?”

“Yeah?”

“You’re… staring.”

He blinked himself out of the trance, looking around for something, anything to save him. “I just. You look so—everything is—” he took a deep breath, begged his mind to work. “Thank you. For setting this up. For me.”

“You said you wanted a proper marathon,” Draco shrugged, apologetic. “I just thought… I wanted to… is this all right? What you had in mind?”

He took his hand, couldn’t help it. “No. It’s perfect.”

Ridiculous, all of it, yeah. And perfect. Harry sunk into it: a night just for him, soft-soft-soft pyjamas, and Draco’s smile, even softer.

It’s been a while since I last posted a picture here, but I figured I’d share one now. :-D I’m currently on a cruise with my parents that they got as a sorta graduation gift for me (except that I’m fairly certain I failed my final exam so I’ve not technically graduated yet… oops). Either way, I decided to wear this pretty emerald green (that looks blue with the filters I put on it) dress that I got for less than $10 at a bin store. :-D

(Also, if anyone was unaware, a bin store is a store that has a bunch of bins of stuff that are all sold for the same price. Each day the prices decrease until restock day, when it restarts. My local bin store goes from $15, to $10, $7, $5, $3, then finally $1 before restocking. I either got this dress on the $10, $7, or $5, not sure. I also got my shoes for $1.50 at a close out sale for a Forever 21, so all in all my outfit’s a good deal, which I always love to get. ^-^)
