Even More Animaniacs Headcanons
--The Mime creeps Wakko out. He claims "Mimes are just clowns but silent and delusional." He still tolerates him though.
Barely.
From a distance.
--Dot's favourite flavour is strawberry. Strawberry ice cream, strawberry milk, strawberry cake-you name it, she loves it!
Tumblr media
--In-universe, most of the meta jokes on the show are ad libs.
--Jürgen (Scratchansniff's brother) always had a twisted side to him and a tendency to overreact (he'd have to to do those types of experiments). Scratchy just never brought it up and acted liked nothing was wrong with him to avoid angering Jürgen and stay on his good side. The Warners keeping him busy provided the perfect excuse (and scapegoats) for him to fall out of touch with Jürgen over time.
--Lesbian Hello Nurse ftw!
--Wakko likes stargazing.
--The Warner Ghosts in "A Christmas Plotz" weren't just figments of of Plotz's imagination-the Warners really did invade his dreams to give him a badly needed ego check. How? Toon logic! Their appearance near the end of the segment even seems to imply this:

Here's a very late Christmas artwork I've done in line with Charles Dickens 's "A Christmas Carol" turning 180 last year and both Mickey Mouse and the public domain becoming trending topics lately. Behold, the ultimate Christmas Carol crossover! Oh, and before someone wonders about this piece being very late for Christmas, here in Latin America some people leave their decorations until this very week for the most. So, consider this as a farewell to the holiday season.

Cartoon Network Friday Spotlight: Animaniacs- "A Christmas Plotz" / "Little Drummer Warners"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was trying to decide what to write about for this holiday season. Maybe a special from a series on Checkered Past? Or an annual favorite like Yogi's First Christmas. But then I saw that Tom Ruegger and Andrea Romano, two of the greatest to work in the TV animation industry, were inducted into the Children and Family Emmy's inaugural Silver Circle, kind of a Hall of Fame.
Unfortunately, Pinky and the Brain the series was never a part of Cartoon Network's lineup, so I can't talk about its legendary holiday episode. But Animaniacs did have a couple of memorable Christmas segments, including these two that made up the 50th episode!
First we have an adaptation of A Christmas Carol that features Warner CEO Plotz as Ebenezer Scrooge, who fires Ralph the security guard and soon meets his three ghosts (played by guess who!), each of which showing Plotz the error of his ways. Soon, Ralph's surprisingly clever son becomes the eventual CEO of the studio and fires Plotz. Hey, he can't be worse than Zaslav.
"A Christmas Plotz" is pretty by the books, but effective in its work. As zany as Animaniacs gets, the show does have a slither of a heart, which is welcome for the season.
And we follow that with the Warners playing the Three Wise Men as they do a jazzy revue of traditional Christmas ballads, which is brilliantly scored and performed.
That's what you usually got with Animaniacs, quick wit and catchy music. Give this a spin during your holiday playlist!

"What if Animaniacs had a crossover with Scooby-Doo?" by me.
Since 1998, "Scooby-Doo" has had a lot of direct-to-video movies. Some having crossovers with other Warner Bros. properties. And it got me wondering if there should be a direct-to-video "Scooby-Doo" movie, that had a crossover "Animaniacs".
What I imagined was if CEO Thaddeus J. Plotz (once again voiced by Frank Welker, who also voices Scooby-Doo and Fred) announced that a new Warner Bros. movie is in production, but when a monster emerges in the middle of pre-production, plans for this upcoming feature are postponed until further notice. When Mystery Inc. arrives at the Warner Bros, Studio Lot with their Mystery Machine, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Fred would meet Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, who would aid Mystery Inc., given they know the studio lot inside and out (They live in a water tower after all). A couple of gags I thought about are if Yakko and Wakko fell in love with Velma and/or Daphne, with Dot in love with Fred. And when splitting up to search the studio, Wakko could follow Scooby and Shaggy, who as usual, wind up finding a cafeteria and ultimately, whatever monster chases after them. As for the ending of the movie, I was thinking that the suspect dressed as the monster would've been one of the actors who have a resentment towards the CEO for his treatment on the film's production (you know, like executive meddling in a sense), and although the actor is fired, he still curses at Mr. Plotz, the Warner siblings, and "those meddling kids and their dumb dog". Mr. Plotz would start to feel a token of appreciation for what Mystery Inc. did and would make arrangements for Mystery Inc. to partake in the Hollywood red carpet premiere of the new movie (with perhaps any of the Mystery Inc. members serving as the replacement for the suspect they got fired.). And following suit of Scooby and Shaggy's food moments, Wakko would've been the one swiping the last sandwich or whatever food would've been served during the wrap party.
To promote this movie, I was thinking Warner Bros. record label, WaterTower Music should release a soundtrack for this proposed crossover, containing all the songs and score with just the pre-recorded audio without the sound effects that would be used in the film.
This is all I've got, but hopefully one day, we'll see a "Scooby-Doo"/"Animaniacs" direct-to-video crossover. Heck, this would've been the first "Animaniacs" movie since "Wakko's Wish" (which will be turning 25 this Christmas).

You know, Scrooge and Goldie are really the only canonical couple, they just deserve each other, the same inclinations, love for money and gold which in most cases outweighs their own love, also other sins, especially Scrooge in early comics. And personally, I just can’t consider Scrooge and Bridgitta a love couple just out of respect for Bridgitta ... And I feel sorry for her, because her heart is only occupied by Scrooge. She doesn’t need such a lover, Scrooge just suitable for Goldie in every sense.
Hi, sorry I didn't answer you earlier. You have the right to love what you want, I don't blame you and you are right, everyone has the right to their opinion. But I have to say this, even if you may not agree with me. Well like this, as much as I love the love couple between Scrooge and Goldie, it’s not exactly what you think. Scrooge is not like Donald, so he only has to be sentenced to one person. Donald Duck certainly has a lot of girls he’s in love with and that’s seen especially in some cartoons and most comics, which isn’t bad, but in the end he’ll always end up with Daisy. That’s how most writers work and that’s such a canon. Scrooge McDuck is not such a case, he will, no matter how many women and sympathies he has, he will love money the most in the end. Money is his greatest love. I know it sounds sick, but such a character was created to be bastard and to be a ruthless capitalist, which is a parody of the society of that time (Scrooge McDuck was modeled on Ebenezer Scrooge from the Christmas carol by Charles Dickens). Of course, Scrooge is not the only character who loves money more than anything. There are already such stingy characters as Mr Magoo, Richer Rich, Mr Burns, MOM, Mr Plotz, Montana Max, Mr Krabs, Eddy and other characters. Some are protagonists and some are antagonists. Scrooge was an antagonist at the beginning, but later, according to Barks, he became the protagonist and a great adventurer, although he will only go to collect valuables, and not to think about helping the poor and giving to the museum. Although many authors of later comics mitigated that, Scrooge would still be a positive person.
Tumblr media
Scrooge in the Carl Barks comic “Back to the Klondike” went back to the Klondike not so much for Goldie as for the lost gold that Goldie took from him. Eventually Scrooge got mad at her again for cheating on him. Barks preferred Brigitta more, although it was not his work, but a fictional character by Romano Scarpa, and Barks considered her a true character for his universe. Brigitta MacBridge was on purpose for him, not so much as he was for her as she was for him. Brigitta had enough money, she didn't need Scrooge to further replenish her wealth. Their romance was certainly comical. Of course, Brigitta has other companions such as Jubal Pomp, also a businessman and a good partner for Brigitta. Jubal Pomp (or Filo Sgaga in Italian) is credited with making Brigitta not as aggressive as in many older comics, although I love the romance between Scrooge and Brigitta.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes, there are comics in which Scrooge admits that he loves Brigitta. In the comic “A Tale of Two Biddies!” has a confession that Goldie doesn’t mind being Brigitta from Scrooge because she knows she was Scrooge’s love for the past, while Brigitta is Scrooge’s love for the present.
Tumblr media
As for the romance between Scrooge and Goldie, their romance really only worked in the OG Ducktales and Don Rosa comics only to later work on other comics that did that romance at the time Scrooge was in the Klondike. I love that romance in the Klondike and that is the best thing that both characters could afford, but one thing should not be forgotten. For some reason they could no longer be together and Goldie became a thing of the past for Scrooge McDuck. I wish their romance had really happened when they were in the Klondike, but the past would have been different. Neither Hortense nor Matilda would leave with Scrooge and settle in Duckburg, nor would Donald or Della. History would be different. Maybe Scrooge took Goldie with him and took her to Scotland, though who knows. Although I wish they had gotten married back then, I'm sure Goldie would have broken up with Scrooge if she had known about his cruel plans for the African colonies. Although I know that many Scroldie fans will not like what I am going to say now, I apologize for that, even though I am a Scroldie fan myself, and that is certainly Goldie Scrooge's past, which cannot be corrected. And that was later shown in most comics. Although Scrooge and Goldie met again, but as old people, especially in Don Rosa comics, even though they renewed their old romance, they still can't correct what the two of them have done in the past and what is there. Maybe Goldie's granddaughter Dickie, as in some Italian comics, corrects such a mistake, so Scrooge admits her as a future heiress. But everyone makes a canon for themselves and everyone has the right to their opinion.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But I will say the same thing, Goldie is not the first love for Scrooge. Scrooge was in an Arild Midthun comic (The Substitute Santa of Strathbungo -The Orphan's Christmas) when he was ten and already had a crush named Brenda who was an orphan. Unfortunately when he left, he never saw her again, but he saved her like other orphans from the notorious abuser.
Tumblr media
However, the essence certainly remains. Scrooge is not like Donald and he will probably choose to love his money rather than Goldie, Brigitta or some third woman. Such is his character. Of course, he should love his family, but I don't like it when it is especially mitigated in both versions of Ducktales, so he becomes the voice of reason in his family. Such is his character. Of course, he should love his family, but I don't like it when it is especially mitigated in both versions of Ducktales, so he becomes the voice of reason in his family. Goldie, as greedy as she is, is not like Scrooge. Although this is an unpopular comment and I beg the reader of this not to attack me afterwards, I am not a Goldie fan in the Ducktales reboot (although the love couple between Scrooge and Goldie was ok) nor do I like the scheme team as some we call the Goldie and Louie team cannot be good examples of the mentor-student relationship. I don't like it. I prefer Goldie as a good grandmother as in comics or a good dedicated woman as in OG Ducktales. And unlike Scrooge, that old Goldie has never been rude to her family, as far as I know. She treated her granddaughter Dickie well, as in Italian and some Brazilian comics. Of course, everyone should love their version and their team as they like, I'm not defending that, I'm just asking you to respect my opinion, that's all.
Tumblr media
Yes, I'm a fan of Scrooge women's couples who always make sense (Scrooge with Goldie, Scrooge with Brigitta, Scrooge with Magica, Scrooge with Fenton's mother and other couples) and who can be canon with themselves, and that I love Scroldie, but again, I respect other opinions like most canon Duck comics and Duck cartoons, but one thing is for sure. Scrooge McDuck will love only money the most and that will be his only treasure and we can agree that Scrooge will not be like Donald who has real love called Daisy. Yes, there will be confessions in some comics that Scrooge, in addition to his flaws, also loves his family.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sorry for the comments, but I had to show you an essay on that. I'm sorry if I offended you with these comments, I didn't mean to, but I hope you understand me. If you have any questions or concerns about what I said, feel free to ask me. These are certainly my views and opinions.

Animaniacs Reboot Season 3 Episode 1 Review
I’m rewatching the episodes for accuracy but only for the Warners. I don’t know P&TB that well to accurately judge them so I’m not worried about them.
I’m gonna do a play by play then an actual review.
The theme song has the contract say 10/13 episodes. Funny. The variable verse is “excessive spit takey” said by Yakko.
Previously On retells the last episode of season 2 with Yakko doing spit takes. Then the cup does a Yakko spit take. Lol
Tumblr media
Banana computer! The fact that it’s off-center bothers me.
Yakko, Wakko, and Dot
I’m gonna combine parts 1 and 2 of the Warners.
Ralph seems to enjoy being in charge of the studio. Good for him. He deserves it. He is on a no meat diet, though? And he has to watch meat movies? Sadistic, much, Flora Dora? That’s probably why he goes insane later when the Warners steal his sandwich.
Meatball Man is probably a play on Batman/Marvel/DC movies. Pasta la pizza, gravy is pretty clever. Although how come he is the only one that’s actually meat (I think)? The sausages are humans or aliens dressed as meat.
Nora ends up quitting and becomes the security guard. How is she writing on her laptop? Touchscreen? I do like how both Flora Dora and Nora’s cats have the same hairstyle as them. “Fynd Wrk” is a play on “Indeed” or “LinkedIn”.
So without a guard the Warners run wild and havoc on the studio. Legit. I like the transition where Scratchy falls and it shows him sliding onto his glasses.
“The new Ralph!” lol Also is this referencing when Plotz was a security guard in A Christmas Plotz? That doesn’t look like 4:30am it looks like 4:30pm.
I feel like they’re making Wakko less intuitive than usual. I’m gonna check throughout the season.
Yakko could’ve at least caught his brother. Also, ya’ll see the wall? 87 days? Plus the 8 near the door is 95. Aaaaawww! I was thinking it’s their age. But it would have to be 2024/2025 then.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dot says “Boys” One of her old lines. Also Yakko says “kids” instead of “sibs.” This saddens me. I know he’s supposed to be oldest and the one that takes care of them but he’s still a kid and their brother. He wouldn’t think of himself that much older mentally.
I feel bad. I know they’re referencing movies but I don’t know a lot of them. There’s gonna be a lot references I don’t know about. Oh boy…
I’m disappointed in myself for not realizing they were in the SWAT uniforms. Although I think it would’ve been better if they tricked Nora.
I know the Warners don’t show affection verbally but…this still seemed off. I can’t see them being desperate to get out of it. They’re very close so they wouldn’t need to be scared of Nora. They could’ve outsmarted her or did reverse psychology. I get what they were going for, but I just can’t see it.
I do like “yoinky yoinky yoinky.” Are they not allowed to say any of their old sayings?
Tumblr media
Gookie!
So Ralph gets competent being himself and eating whatever he wants? Who would’ve thought that being not who you are makes you less productive. (Sarcasm)
Tumblr media
Batman and Wonder Woman.
I do find it interesting how he was able to beat the Warners here. This is one of the instances where something in the beginning of the episode plays again later - the movie lines playing again is the one for this episode. Although the ending differs. …Would he…have tried to eat Dot?
So the roles switch. Poor Ralph was sad but it’s nice to see Nora have a heart. I like how they had the net ready for him.
Well this episode served its purpose. Making everything back to normal since there’s a new season.
I did like part 1 better. More Warner antic are my forte. Stop hurting the Warners. They do happy accidents like finding solutions without meaning to - not the adversary. It’s cute how they lean on each other. It’s nice to see the subtle affection - see? They are nice with each other. It’s their actions. Each Warner had a time to shine (kinda). The transitions were good. Tried to look at animation. I think it was improved. The details are nice.
Pinky and The Brain
The animation threw me off for Pinky’s song but it was not bad. I do like the Pinky blogger series. It shows the plot in a different way than normal. Nice detail with the camera not being steady since Pinky is holding it. Pinky was sweet at the end. There’s a lot of Brinky moments this season. Or friendship moments.
Warners (both) - 7.7
P&TB - 8.5
Avg - 8.1
These were my initial ratings but it might change.
Wasn’t a bad start but could be better. I feel like the Warners were a little complacent than normal. Their personalities…I’ll save that for my season review.

Title- A Christmas Plotz scene
(reposted from my DA account)
A rare-for me-bit of fanart, made with an Animaniacs Oc after watching the episode.
Full dialogue V
Plotz-I'm working too hard. I must be hallucinating. Wendy (puffs into being)- oh, no...no. I'm afraid not. Seems little old me has to finish up this scene here... (pulls out a script.) Let's see...hmm. Plotz-What? Who? WHAT is-why is this happening!? Wendy- Why? Come now, dear Thadeuss. Surely it's obvious? To make you a...better person. Heh...goood luuuck with that, honey. (Phone rings, Wendy vanishes and Plotz jumps. He answers the phone and Wakko pops out.)
