🍉 [WATERMELON] What will your OC take to the grave?

Mercy: Information about the experiments she was involved in + others that she knew about, both prewar while she was in West-Tek & postwar while she was in the Enclave. She has a lot of guilt surrounding her work, along with some fears about being identified & either returned to the Enclave or ending up in some scenario where she could be held accountable for everything. Basically she’s not saying shit about it and will continue to go by an alias rather than her legal name.

Reed: Honestly there's a lot of things that you'd basically have to pry out of him, but the main one is hinted at in this fic: his beloved "prewar" dog Margot is a synth replacement that was planted in the vault to keep track of him. He finds out about it much later on while digging around in old Institute records, and as far as he's aware he never tells anyone about it. This is one of those things that can potentially come up if he's very drunk and all up in his feelings about it.

Delta: Pretty much everything they did prior to their current life in the Commonwealth- they’ve had at least one memory wipe since escaping from the Institute. They couldn’t tell you how they got out even if they wanted to, but I’m guessing it could probably be brought back up by someone like Dr. Amari if they really wanted to find out.

🍋 [LEMON] What is their kryptonite/ultimate weakness?

Mercy: The people she cares about. She has a tendency to get very defensive when those people are at risk of being hurt, and it could be used to get her to do things she’d otherwise refuse to do.

Reed: I’m sure nobody’s going to be surprised by this, but: Margot. He has an unhealthy attachment to her and he’s pretty much just not capable of functioning without her. I don’t get into it too much in the fic linked above, but that incident(and the initial incident with her in the vault, which isn’t up yet but will be soonish) haunts him for a long time afterwards.

Delta: They have a very hard time setting boundaries with people and actually saying no to things they don’t want to do. It’s actually very similar to Mercy- except it applies to most people because of their pacifist nature. They don’t want to hurt others and it doesn’t really take that much to guilt trip them over it.

🥑 [AVACADO] What will they never back down about, even if it makes them seem bad?

Mercy: She has a pretty strong moral code & personal sense of justice and she has no issues with enforcing that, regardless of what it does to her reputation. She hates slavers and basically anything to do with the Legion, Enclave, BoS, & NCR- she has no problem going out of her way to cause issues with these groups.

Reed: In general, he has pretty flexible morals and will overlook or go along with things that he disagrees with in order to do his job. I honestly can’t think of anything that he wouldn’t be willing to sideline or put aside temporarily to get something he wants.

Delta: They’re very adamant about synth rights(for obvious reasons- it’d be weird if they weren’t) and that’s one of the few hills they’ll die on.

This is a WIP I've talked about a bit on tumblr already, based on the idea that Amarie and Elenwe are the same people. Turgon/Elenwe/Finrod established relationship turned to widowhood/separation, with a focus on Elenwe post-reembodiment. It's been left a bit to the way-side, but I do intend to finish it eventually, even if it never becomes the gigantic thing it is in the vibes that dwell in my heart.

The reason this hasn't been a very serious operation is because the way I have ended up writing Elenwe, which is, it turns out, not very serious. I didn't expect her to be this irreverent! But she's an outsider to the royal drama, and part of it for her own connections and ambitions, far removed from the events of Beleriand and engrossed in her own psycho-sexual relationship with the Grinding Ice, so this draft has become the thing I write when feeling funny and forget about most of the time.

Have a wholesome romantic reunion (not very):

It was no surprise, of course. Some people were extroverted enough to keep politics afloat after slaughter, language-weregild and awful family feasting on opposite sides with a kingdom out of it; and some people took their ten thousand closest friends and hid away in a secret city without warning, which had ever been Turukáno's favourite daydream during excruciating holiday dinners. It was just as well she was dead by then, because she really had had no inclinations to move South of Araman's latitudinal equivalent point upon Beleriand.

Elenwë got turned around for a bit, died for a few centuries, and naturally Túrukano went and built a hidden city to challenge and spite the Enemy and shelter their people.

"Typical," said she. "Oh, what an ass my husband is! A mountain city works no worse as a trap than as a safe. Well, he ought not to think he is getting this one over me, merely because of a short absense - I will have this island done decently."

“Will you,” said Finrod, not unpleaseantly.

“Why,” said Elenwe, very unpleaseantly. “Do you mean to dispute for it, dearest? Point a few of your thatched roofs my way, perhaps?”

“They are very excellent material.”

“Do go on.” Elenwe of the riverside Vanyar, who had dwelled in her youth in floating islands of river-reeds built in the way of Cuivénnen, and had built her first house at twenty.

They had been academic competitors before they were friends, and had remained competitors in the craft of raising buildings after they wed. It was not often that Noldor of the same craft joined their lives together, for a good reason; but that, they both agreed, was a matter for more foolhardy and reckless people. Competitiveness was something of a set feature, a foundational part of the material upon which their affection was raised, and so they had always liked it to be.

Tol Eressea was right there. Elenwë was very sorry about all the people she had murdered, to be sure, but not enough to feel any compunctions on building a city to rival Alqualonde for the market-power they had lost in isolosiotanism.

"Why are you like this," Finderáto asked, pretending quite badly he did not find her business acumen very charming.

This article does not contain a mock draft. Sorry. I know you’re disappointed and clicking away for some other PFF crack cocaine clickbait.

Instead, how about a random patchwork of observations and vaguely informed opinions about guys I like, and guys I like less? Mostly, I’ll cover how little we actually know. Mel Kiper Jr., Dane Brugler, Daniel Jeremiah and other “experts” know a lot more names and RAS scores than me. Their opinions and guesses are no better than yours or mine.

Wrongheaded wishes

Last year at this time, many of us wanted the Packers to draft Jaxon Smith-Njigba, supposedly, the best WR prospect in the draft. Instead, the Packers found Jaden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks with much lower picks who, after one year, appear to be as good or possibly better than JSN.

Big board wisdom

In 2022, many of us I had not heard of Quay Walker. The experts called it a reach; that he should have gone in the 2nd or 3rd round. Quay hasn’t been a bust, but he should have gone in the 2nd or 3rd.

AJ Dillon, Darnell Savage and Josiah DeGuera were not busts. They were over-drafted. Like every GM in the league, Brian Gutekunst has, and will again, botch picks. The key is hitting more than missing.

Movin’ on up

Historically, the Packers only move up a handful of picks to get their guy. The best moves in modern history were for Clay Matthews and Jaire Alexander. Former Packer GM and Coach Mike Sherman once moved up in the 3rd round for a punter–not such a sage move. Joe Alt, Byron Murphy and Terrion Arnold won’t likely be Packers, but I’d be ok to move up for them.

Which linebacker?

The Packers need 1-2 linebackers. The experts tell us none are 1st round worthy. Scouts don’t even agree who’s the best. The Packers could draft Edgerrin Cooper, Payton Wilson, Trevin Wallace or Junior Colson. The questions are, which and when?

Guys I like and guys I don’t

I like Amarious Mims, Graham Barton, Cooper DeJean. Kool Aid, Jer’Zhan Newton and Jackson Powers-Johnson are guys I like a lot less in the 1st. An offensive lineman is my preference, knowing they’ll get their linebackers and safeties in rounds 2 and after. A trade down could make a lot of sense.

Lying season

Hats off to Gutey for calling out all the subterfuge happening this time of year. I also agree with his comment that adding roster competition by picking even more than the 11-picks the Packers have. Considering his aforementioned subterfuge comments, the guess here is Gutekunst drafts less than 11.

Dream trade

My favorite speculative trade involves a panicked Denver team offering the Packers their 1st round pick next year for a shot at QB Bo Nix. Yes please! That could be a top 10 pick next year. The added bonus would be getting it from Sean Payton, a loathsome character with a face that says, “I’m kind of a jerk.”

Eat your vegetables!

In 2020, many of us let out a collective groan when Gutey moved up to draft QB Jordan Love. We wanted dessert in the form of a wide receiver or linebacker. Gutekunst knew the time was right for a good GM to eat his vegetables and hatch a QB succession plan. It’s the most obvious reminder that fans want to win now, while the GM is thinking 3-4 years down the road. In Gutey we trust!

Oklahoma State: 2023 Texas Bowl Champions

Oklahoma State won the Texas Bowl behind some big performances from its receivers.

OSU beat Texas A&M 31-23, thanks to Rashod Owens and Brennan Presley. Owens finished with 164 yards and two touchdowns, while Presley added 152 yards on 16 receptions to set OSU’s bowl game record.

With 5:07 left, Texas A&M kicker Randy Bond nailed a 51-yard field goal off the crossbar to cut OSU’s lead to eight. However, OSU did not give the ball back until there were only 17 seconds left, and Kendal Daniels picked off Texas A&M’s last-second Hail Mary.

With Texas A&M looking to get within one score to begin the fourth quarter, Nick Martin recovered a fumble forced by Xavier Benson to set OSU up at its 1-yard line. Leon Johnson III came up with a huge third-down catch to get out of their end zone. However, that drive would end abruptly with Bowman throwing his second interception.

Rashod Owens’ big night was highlighted in OSU’s only scoring drive of the third quarter. Including an 18-yard grab in the end zone, Owens had 48 yards on that drive.

Despite Owens’ big gains, Texas A&M kept fighting. Marcel Reed’s 20-yard scamper along the right sideline into the end zone made it 31-20 midway through the third quarter.

On the first drive of the second half, Alan Bowman threw an interception to give the Aggies some much-needed momentum. Amari Daniels finished off the Aggies’ first touchdown drive a few plays later with a 2-yard score to get back within 11.

Although he is in the transfer portal, OSU quarterback Gunnar Gundy came in and ran for a 10-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Before that, Brennan Presley’s 34-yard pass to Owens put OSU’s offense in position to score.

After three catches by Presley on their last drive of the half, the Cowboys went for fourth down for the first time and found Presley again to keep the drive going. Bowman then found Braden Cassity for a 17-yard gain before Ollie Gordon punched it in a play later to take a 24-6 halftime lead.

In what may have been his final college game, Bowman went for 402 yards passing and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, OSU’s star running back went for 118 yards in his first game since announcing his return for the 2024 season.

Green Bay, Wisconsin.- Aaron Rodgers lanzó tres pases de touchdown al novato Christian Watson, lideró una serie de 55 yardas en tiempo extra para preparar el escenario del gol de campo ganador de Mason Crosby, y los Empacadores de Green Bay frenaron una racha de cinco derrotas al vencer el domingo 31-28 a los Vaqueros de Dallas y su excoach Mike McCarthy.

Amari’s Grand Escape

It’s late. Well, it’s not really, it’s barely dusk. Even so, I should be back at my place getting a solid four hours of sleep before Roux comes knocking at my window.

And I certainly should not be scaling the castle walls of a fucking gut feeling.

It’s just… There’s something telling me ‘go to the church’ ‘you will probably regret it but still go, dumbass’ Now, my intuition is normally spot on, but as I’m climbing the palace walls, feeling an odd sense of nostalgia.

I stop making my way up the wall to look out on the restless city below. All those people, those tiny, insignificant people, living their lives, thinking they’re the heroes of their own story.. When actually.. They’re the villains of it. I wonder what Raiden and Layla think they are, what position they play...

I shake my head, not the time to get existential, Amari.

I turn back to the task at hand.. Whatever that may be. I sigh and make it up the wall fairly easily. I survey my surroundings, I’m on the far west wall, the church is in the east gardens. Fuck me.. Of course I climb the wall farthest from the place I need to be.

I look around and smirk, there aren’t any guards stationed here, at least at the moment. They must be switching shifts.

I sprint across the wall, crouching when I get to the edge, and I jump over the gap and land on a polished quartz balcony. As I look for my next place to land, I hear a silky voice.

“Why hello there, shadow.” Shit. I whirl around to face Ambassador Veritas with a nervous smile.

“Heeey, Ambassador…” I stall anxiously. How am I gonna get outta this bullshit.

They shake their head, smiling. “What might you be doing on this fine night?” Are they fucking with me? I give them a look.

But, I play along, “Oh you know, just out for a walk,” I lean against the railing, still not letting my guard. They nod, thoughtfully. Oh, they’re so fucking with me.

“Ah yes, out for a walk to see the chapel, are we? It’s quite lovely there. It tends to.. call out to people a lot…” My eyes widen.

“How did you-” They gesture to themself, “Right. The whole demon thing. Of course..” That gets a hearty laugh outta them. Makes me a little proud, I was able to crack their otherwise calm and collected exterior.

“My, my, you are quite funny, my friend. I see why Raiden likes you.” All I give is a non-committal ‘mhm’ as I hear the clanking of armor as the knights make their way below us. Fuck me sideways.

I grimace, turning to the Ambassador. “Listen, I’d love to stay and chat but-” I shut up when they lift a hand up. “Yes, yes. Go on. I’m sure the chapel awaits you eagerly.”

“Uh-huh..” I give them a look. “Well, I’ll see you around?”

They put down their hand and nod, “Presumably, yes. Farewell, shadow.” And with that they turn and walk back into their room. Well.. that as.. Something.. I shake my head, no time to dwell on whatever the fuck that was.

When I finally make it to the gardens, I silently curse at myself as I gaze upon none other than the Knight Commander herself, Livia Vasile training with a wooden sword.

Wow, just wow.. She looks…

Stunning..

Her hair is pulled back into a high ponytail and she’s wearing some simple training gear, as to be expected. But holy shit, does she have some set of abs..

Watch Me Walk Away - Part One

Lepidolite

A/N: We are switching to a new mini-series for Day 3 of @kc-and-co’s Spring Challenge. The prompt for today is “Breakfast”, and today breakfast will be shared with @thatravenpuffwitch’s Rylie Hopper-Lee and her friends, who belong to @lifeofkaze and @that-scouse-wizard. Warnings: innuendo and references to alcohol.

The castle was coming to life a little later than usual this morning, many of the older students still nursing sore heads after the festivities of the night before. The final Quidditch match of the year had been a close contest between Hufflepuff and Slytherin, resulting in Hufflepuff narrowly winning both the match and the House Cup. The party that had followed had naturally been a particularly raucous one, continuing into the early hours in the Hufflepuff basement.

Rylie Hopper-Lee had not stayed until the end of the party. Though she had enjoyed herself immensely, she had retired just after midnight, tired and groggy from the match she had played and the cider she had been drinking. She awoke fresher than she had anticipated, and finding the Common Room empty other than several empty cups and bottles of Butterbeer, she made her way up to the Great Hall for breakfast.

Seated at the Hufflepuff table she found her housemates Dylan Amari and Saffron Summers, along with Dylan’s girlfriend and Saffron’s best friend Dana Parkin, a Gryffindor in the year above.

“How’s your head this morning?” Dana smiled across the table at Rylie, already sprinkling flaked coconut onto her pancakes.

“My head is actually okay,” Rylie replied. “It’s my legs that are aching. Not sure if that’s from the dancing or the Quidditch. Might be both.”

She grinned back at Dana, and in the seat next to her, Saffron began to sway from side to side, her eyes closed and facial expression serene.

“Are you okay, Saff?”

“Oh, yes. I’m just remembering the dancing. It was lovely dancing, wasn’t it? Like the reeds by the water in the spring breeze.”

“Or like rabbits in the spring grass, in some peoples’ cases,” muttered Dylan. He tutted, looking across the Great Hall with narrowed eyes, and added under his breath, “Talking of which…”

Turning in her seat to follow Dylan’s gaze, Rylie immediately felt her heart skip a beat. By the main doors of the hall was none other than Rory McTavish.

Rory was the captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and one of the best looking - if not the best looking - boys at school. And, boy, did he know it. Friendly, funny, and an infamous flirt, Rory had made somewhat of a reputation for himself as a player, and not when it came to Quidditch.

Rylie had more than enough sense to know that Rory was not the sort of boy that one should develop a crush on. Sadly, her senses had no bearing upon the butterflies that seemed to awaken in her abdomen every time Rory was around, and had done so for the past three and a half years.

Not wanting Rory to think that she was staring at him, Rylie turned her attention back to her pancakes, firmly ignoring the curious look of Saffron from the seat next to her. Across the other side of the table, Dana had no such qualms. Instead of averting her gaze from Rory, she put her hand into the air and waved at him.

“What are you doing?” asked Dylan, blinking at her.

“Saying hello, of course.”

“No, don’t do that. He’ll come over here,” Dylan scowled and let out a loud sigh. “Oh, great. He already is.”

Rylie swallowed a mouthful of pancake, the butterflies in her stomach starting to take flight. She fought the urge to comb through her hair with her fingers, and cursed the fact that she hadn’t bothered to make any effort with her physical appearance. Behind her, she could hear the sound of approaching footsteps, followed by a loud voice with a soft Scottish accent.

“Morning, Dana. Morning, you lot. Great party last night.”

“It was, wasn’t it?” Dana beamed at Rory, keeping one hand placed on her boyfriend’s forearm. “What time did you leave?”

“Cannae remember exactly. I was pretty roasted. You Puffs don’t mess about when it comes to the booze, do you?” Rory lowered his voice and leaned in towards the others as he added, “Well, they say it’s always the ones you least expect.”

With that, he grinned, nudged Rylie with his elbow at winked at her conspiratorially. Rylie laughed quietly, hoping to Godric that she wasn’t blushing.

“I think by now, we all know what to expect,” muttered Dylan, before Rylie could provide Rory with a suitably witty comeback. “Especially from you, McTavish.”

“I’m sorry that I bore you with my predictability, Dyldo. I’ll try and surprise you more often next term.”

“I’d really rather you didn’t.”

There was a soft thump from under the table and Dylan winced. He gave Dana a look of indignant disbelief, which she promptly ignored, smiling innocently and asking:

“Are you staying to have breakfast with us, Rory?”

Dylan cleared his throat. “I’m sure Rory has much better things to do than-”

“Och, no, I’ve got nothing on. I’d love to stay for breakfast.”

“Are you sure?” Dylan’s eyes narrowed. “Are you sure you don’t have literally anything else you could be doing?”

“No, I’m as free as a bird, Amari. A very hungry bird,” Rory swung his leg over the bench to take a seat next to Rylie. “Right, who do I have to screw around here to get a bacon sandwich?”

Rylie could have kicked herself as she leaned across Saffron - who was busy constructing a model teepee out of her toast - in order to pass Rory a plate of bacon.

“Cheers, Lee,” he said. “Great flying yesterday, by the way.”

“Thanks,” Rylie caught herself before her smile widened further, and widened her eyes in faux-pity. “I’m so sorry about the Cup.”

“Ah, you keep your Cup for now. We’ll take it back off you next year.”

“We’ll see about that,” Rylie smirked.

Rory opened his mouth, presumably to make another comment back to her, but was interrupted by two girls rushing over to the Hufflepuff table, one of them wrapping her arms around his shoulders from behind, and the other jumping up to perch on the table next to him.

“Och no, not you two,” groaned Rory, though his smile didn’t fade. “Don’t you have some other poor tadger to go and bother?”

“Oh, plenty,” said Reva Amari, unwrapping her arms from Rory’s shoulders. “But today, we’d rather bother you.”

“Why’s that?”

“Because,” said the other girl, Robin Willows, picking up Rory’s glass of pumpkin juice and taking a sip from it, “we have it on good authority that our Captain has been fraternising with the enemy.”

“I’m just having breakfast,” Rory said, though his grin was quickly growing sheepish.

“Apparently, that’s not all you’ve been having,” Reva knelt on the bench on the other side of Rory to Rylie and gave him a knowing look. “Took a little detour on your way back to the dormitories last night, did you?”

“Again,” Robin muttered into Rory’s pumpkin juice.

“Or were you just so drunk that you got Ravenclaw and Gryffindor towers confused?”

“Again…”

“You can’t lie to us, McTavish. Zadie and Victoire told us everything.”

“Oh, well,” Rory’s cheeks turned pink. “If they told you everything, you don’t need to be asking me about it, do you?”

“Oh, come on…”

“Rory…”

“It was a good party, that is all I have to say. Now, piss off or I’ll find myself two new Chasers next term.”

A coy and somewhat proud smile playing on his face, Rory shook his head and turned his attention back to his breakfast. But Reva and Robin were not satisfied with this response. They continued to pester Rory for details about his antics, and with every question they asked, Rylie found her stomach growing queasier and queasier.

“Did you show her your really special card tricks?”

“Did you ask her to be your glamorous assistant?”

“Did she manage to pull a white rabbit out of your hat?”

Rory choked on his coffee, and Reva wiggled her eyebrows at him. Rylie decided that she had heard enough.

“I’m off,” she said, pushing away her half-finished plate of pancakes. “I have an essay to finish for Runes tomorrow. See you guys later.”

She stood up and made to leave, but felt a hand reach out and touch her arm, as if willing her not to go. She looked down hopefully, but the hand belonged to Saffron, who had put down the small creature she had been carving out of her banana.

“Are you okay, Saff?”

“Oh, yes,” Saffron nodded, and ran her hand down Rylie’s arm to her hand, turning it over and prising open her fist so that she had her palm facing upwards. Into her palm, she placed a single gemstone, the size of a date or walnut, its smooth polished surface a dozen different shades of marbled lilac.

“What’s this?”

“Lepidolite.”

“What’s it for?”

“For you.”

“Thank you, but what does it do?”

“Oh, wow,” Saffron tilted her head and stared at the stone. “It does lots and lots of things. It gives you strength, patience, and optimism. Listen.”

She closed Rylie’s fingers over the stone and brought her hand up to her ear.

“Do you hear that?”

“Hear what, Saff?”

“The stone,” Saffron whispered. “It’s promising that you don’t need to worry, things will get better for you.”

“I dunno about that,” Rylie laughed nervously.

“Oh, but crystals never lie,” said Saffron, smiling so widely that her gums showed. “Something good will come. Just you wait and see.”

Rylie thanked Saffron for the stone and carried it out of the Great Hall, turning it in her hands as she stepped out into the sunny courtyard. As much as she wanted to believe Saffron and her stone, she couldn’t see that there was any truth in the matter. She knew what Rory was like, and that her crush on him was pointless. Nothing good could ever come of it. She sighed and shook her head, her mind made up.

It was time for her to walk away from Rory McTavish.

omg I had so much fun answering this question, I've never though about this until now so thank you!!! 💜

saves their love interest

Innes Talovaire (A Mage Reborn) • the interesting thing about her choice is that it would be different pre-resurrection than post-resurrection so this answer is mostly post-resurrection. there is no official LI for her atm but no matter who she romances the answer would still be the same. the world has done nothing but bring her pain, and after the way their treated her she feels as if she owes nothing to them so she would not feel guilty at all about for sacrificing the world. *pre-resurrection she would have saved the world, unless Eli was alive in that case she would have saved him*

Maeve Peg'asi (Andromeda 6) • it comes as no surprise to me that she would save Damon but it was surprising that she would feel a bit of guilt about it. the world has not done anything to her, it mostly just came from her family, so she would feel bad to bring this to them, especially to the crew. she wouldn't exactly regret her choice but it would take a while for her to stop thinking about it.

Brynn Delvaux (When the Night Comes) • she would definitely struggle with this one. her reflexes would have made her save the world since she is a hunter and that is what they are taught to do but in the end she would save Alkar because her love for him is stronger than her sense for duty. she would mourn the lives lost, of course, but she would not feel guilty or regret her choice.

Kira Seong (Perfumare) and Jennifer Jones (Sentinel) • their reasoning would be the same: Reed and Shaw are all they have. they wouldn't even hesitate. Jennifer, however, would feel guilty for not even thinking about it but not guilty enough to regret her choice.

Amaris Voight • it angers her. it angers her to be in this situation and it angers her to be this conflicted about it. she's a hero, she's done so much for the citizens and has given up so much for them but they love her since she is their savior... but what kind of savior is she when she's thinking of sacrificing them to save the villain that she loves? she would wait until the last moment possible to make her choice, if only to decrease the guilt. would she regret her choice? only time will tell.

Blaise Montague • he has waited for Eden for so long. has found her time and time again in every single one of her lives. he knows she will come back, she always does. but he will not risk it. he wouldn't even hesitate. would not need to be asked twice and he doesn't need to confirm his choice. he will save her, he will always save her.

saves the world

Kai Morgenstern (Keeper of the Sun and Moon) • this one came as a surprise for me the more i thought about it because Kai doesn't really care about the world, especially NMC since they gave her no other choice but to stay while all she wanted to do was forget what had happened and go back to her old "boring human life" where all she had to worry about was passing her finals in college, not what kind of creature will try to kill her next. and she loves Leon, she really does, and she would do everything for him. but saving the world means saving her dad and her aunt, and Kai would never forgive herself if something were to happen to them because of her. she would be devastated when making the choice and would even apologize to Leon but she wouldn't change her mind. *however if the choices were to save the people she loves or save the world then she would not hesitate to save her loved ones*

Connie Navarro (Keeper of the Sun and Moon) • don't do this to her, she can't take it. she's a keeper so it is her duty to save the world but Altair is the love of her life and she can't do that to him. she would have to be consoled by Altair or her mom or literally anyone around her but she would eventually choose the world. she would be saying "im sorry", "forgive me" and "i love you" to him over and over again until it happened. this made me so sad but this would honestly change her. she would try to justify it, to say that it was one life vs millions but whether she's trying to convince herself or everyone else...

Aspen Peg'asi (Andromeda 6) • i was going to do Aspen until i realized her answer would be the same as Connie, just changing Altair to June. though she would take it the worst since June saved her and she couldn't do this for him.

Angelina Hawthorne • out of everyone here, she's the one most likely to actually regret her choice. she is a hero, she has protected her classmates countless of times and even fought a war for the freedom of people so between her and Brynn, Angelina is the one that actually goes with her reflexes and saves the world. that is her undoing in the end, not actually trying to fight it and make a different choice. the more people mention it, the more she breaks.

Dorian Sinclaire • he is a hero, the son of Zeus. he has been taught since a very young age to fight for the people, to give up everything for them. and he would. the only consolation he has is the fact that his partner would do the same. however, he will try to forget about it and would snap at everyone who mentions it. will take the "ignorance is a bliss" to a whole new level.
