1. When did you start creating art? Idk!!!!! Since I have memory! When I was 3 years old I started filling notebooks with drawings of fishes with legs, and I've been doing it since now! I can tell you tho that I started being serious about it when I was like 11 years old sooo almost since 10 years ago now approximately

Biografía: Artemisia Gentileschi
El mundo renacentista fue, sin duda alguna machista, uno en el que las mujeres no pudieron resaltar como lo deseaban, sin embargo, a pesar de estas dificultaddes, pudieron existir grandes artistas femeninas, y una de ellas es: Artemisa Gentileschi
Nacida en Roma, durante el siglo XVII tuvo contacto con el arte gracias a su padre quien también fue artista, creciendo así en una familia rodeada de escultores y pintores del Barroco, ubicada en una ciudad donde el arte estaba en pleno apogeo. A los 16 años decidió convertirse en aprendiz de su padre, y, aunque no era posible que una mujer fuese artista, tener de padre uno tuvo su ventaja, Orazio, su padre, al ver que ya superaba, no sólo al resto de sus aprendices, sino también a él, decide enseñarla de forma más profesional, academisarla. Inspirada en Caravaggio, su estilo barroco tomó el dramatismo de su ídolo en ambiciosos cuadros históricos y religiosos (géneros inadecuados para el espíritu femenino en esa época).
Una excelente artista con un futuro brillante y una juventud plena y feliz, sin embargo su pintura pasó a otro tipo, mucho más oscura y violenta, incluso, en algunos casos hasta sangrienta, gracias a que con tan solo 19 años fue violada por parte de un maestro mucho mayor y que era amigo de su padre, fue objeto de humillación y castigo hasta que se descubrió que, en efecto sí fue abusada. Se dice que a través del tiempo se proyectaba a sí misma en sus escenas de mujeres poderosas, muchas de las cuales a menudo buscaban venganza.
Su carrera se extendó por 40 años, los lienzos de ella nunca fueron tímidos, muchos eruditos no creían que era la responsable de estos lienzos, aunque sabía que era poco probable que sus representaciones triunfantes de heroínas bíblicas y romanas fueran pintadas por un hombre, se veía el feminnismo en cada una de sus obras.
Deja plasmada en ellas su lucha con tra el Patriarcado a través de la pintura, logrando así que personajes bíblicos como Judith o Susana poblaron sus cuadros, logrando un esfuerzo extraordinario en plasmar el poder femenino en una época en la cual era tan difícil ser mujer.

Italy s.XVI-XVIIProbably one of the most important women in the history of Art. Her paintings were theatrical and dramatic, and with some traits that could qualify as feminist, because of the strong expressions of the woman she painted.
One of her most famous paintings is Susana and the old men, based on a Judeo-Christian legend of a young woman who is harassed by some old men, friends of her husband. Many male painters have portrayed this story as some funny flirting scene. Luckily, Artemisa gave the victim of the story a more coherent expression of disgust and fear.

Artemisia Lomi Gentileschi. (1593-1654) Most common known for being a disciple of Caravaggio's. She was one of the very few women who were recognised for their talent in painting in a time where people believed that it wasn't a craft women could or should do. She rose to a considerable status thanks to her talent.
