I decided to share a bit about my Divine Comedy retelling/reimagination I am not sure how to label it. It has Beatrice midway though her mortal life going on a field trip to hell (with Dante included, the boy sure likes revisiting that place I wonder why 🤔).

i know i'm 7 years late but i just finished playing night in the woods and damn.... DAMNNNN. what a gem of a game

#easily one of the most well-written games ive ever played. and i tend to struggle with dialogue-heavy games too #the way it just has so many relatable elements really hits home like. every deep conversation just left me head full heart heavy #i definitely missed a couple 'routes' so i'll prob to go back and play it through again #like i didn't get to see bea's backstory at all #0.txt

A question for luminous beings. What color are the lightsabers? Or more specifically, when Beatrice and later Lilith leave the Inquisitors and join Ava at the yet to be written about point in time, do they keep their red blades? Do they get new crystals? Do they purify the ones they already have? Or do they just go "fuck it with the force bullshit" and not have a lightsaber at all?

oh for sure i can talk about the lightsabers.

Ava’s is yellow, which is established already. & plans are for it to stay that way.

Beatrice’s lightsaber was blue when she was a Jedi Padawan, before the Inquisition took her, and once she leaves she will HAVE to go and locate a new Kyber crystal because, in order to turn them red, you have to corrupt them (& this, I understand, cannot be reversed).

at some point in Luminous Beings she’ll go to to Ilum, (with Ava) forge a new lightsaber emitter, and find a new crystal (or, rather, hope that one calls to her black heart).

when she does find her new crystal, after being slapped over the head with mystical Force-therapy, it’ll be blue again. 

Lilith is more difficult. for backstory reasons her lightsaber has always been red. when she picked it up the first time and switched it on it was red. 

so, no, regardless of what happens in the story it will not change colour, but she also (at least in the (probably) canon-divergent au Orbital Mechanics) doesn’t use it. or, rather, for backstory reasons she doesn’t NEED a lightsaber to be incredibly dangerous. but she’ll always have one, and it will always be red.

Wow I haven't been active here in a while, but of course, here we go

(This is subject to change and also my memory is trash so it may not have been my original vision)

Bea in this au was raised in a high horse, haughty sort of household, her parents knew what they wanted of her and they expected her to live to those expectations. Perfect grades perfect girl etc etc.

Karate and other martial arts is bea's release, being headed by the one and only kabu she has the chance to get out her stress and frustration, breaking out of the mold she was in was freeing in ways she was desperate for. This lead to her first bonded pokemon seeking her out and giving her some extra leverage to push even harder on the limits her family has set her.

Luckily her family is quite supportive of her hobby, since she's so good at it it brings home the medals and trophies. And luckily for her, kabu is the far superior parental figure.

Bea in this au as a civilian also has longer hair than Canon bea, its when she transforms her hair is closer to the Canon style.

Atsushi has to be the most underrated MC that has ever been in a show. Literally in Season Three the first four episode didn’t include him at all, and it’s hilarious because nobody really cared.
