Damian Wayne Gets New DC Black Label Comic Series
Damian Wayne is taking center stage in a new DC Black Label (for mature readers) comic book series. Damian will be joined by previous Robins in the new 5-issue series. The Boy Wonder hails from writer and artist Juni Ba, letterer Aditya Bidikar, and colorist Chris O'Halloran.
"The young prince Damian Wayne was raised to be the heir to the fearsome League of Assassins—to follow in the footsteps of his deadly mother, Talia, and the Demon’s Head himself, his grandfather Ra’s al Ghul.
But everything changed when his father, the Batman, reclaimed him and brought him Back to Gotham City. As Robin, young Damian suddenly discovered he was merely one of several princes, preceded in the role by his “brothers” Nightwing, Red Hood, and Red Robin… and Damian doesn’t care to be “merely” anything. But when his father is forced to leave the city on urgent business, and a rash of abductions is accompanied by whispers of a demon stalking Gotham’s dark alleys, Damian will find himself battling alongside his adoptive brothers—and in the process, learning what the mantle of Robin really means!" (DC Comics)
The Boy Wonder #1 (of 5), featuring a main cover by Juni Ba and a variant cover by Cliff Chiang, goes on sale on May 7, 2024.

"Midst" Comes to Comics
Dark Horse, Critical Role, and Third Person are collaborating on a new comic series based on the space-western podcast Midst. Each Midst comic will be an oversized issue featuring a new story and a new creative team. The collection will feature stories throughout the show's timeline.
The first Midst comic, Midst: Address Unknown, will be written by Colin Lorimer, illustrated by Alejandro Aragón, colored by Chris O'Halloran, and lettered by Jim Campbell. Cover art is by William Kirkby.
"When their ramshackle postal ship crashes on a mysterious new landmass, siblings Rowan and Ogden Shearwater have to make the best of it. Adventurous Ogden convinces reluctant Rowan to make a fresh start in the strange new islet that sits between the bright Un and the dark Fold. But Midst holds dangers that will challenge Ogden and Rowan’s family bonds as well as their will to survive." (Dark Horse)
Midst: Address Unknown #1 (of 3) goes on sale on August 14, 2024.
