If I had a nickel for every time I watched a changeling situation in animation being solved with "well, I have two kids now", I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

🌊Um dia morena enfeitada
De rosas e rendas
Abriu seu sorriso de moça
E pediu pra dançar...
É agua no mar, é maré cheia ô
Mareia, ô... mareia
É agua no mar...🩵

This is Clara Nunes. She's rightfully considered one of Brazil's greatest singers. If she was alive, she'd be 80 today. Unfortunately, she died way too soon in 1983, after a failed surgery. However, her contributions to Brazilian culture are undeniable and invaluable. Not only Clara was a talented singer, but also a researcher of Brazilian music and has brought something from every part of Brazil into her work.
Another brilliant fact about her is that she also sang a lot about Orixás (which are the gods and goddesses of Afro-Brazilian religions, such as Candomblé and Umbanda) and told stories about slaves, mestiços, black people and other marginalized people from Brazil.
So I must leave here my simple homage to this wonderful Brazilian icon. Viva CLARA NUNES - a guerreira mineira filha de Ogum com Iansã (the warrior from Minas Gerais, daughter of Ogum and Iansã).
