Karl Bryullov (Russian, 1799-1852) Genseric's invasion of Rome, ca.1833-36 State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow

Genseric was king of the Vandals and Alans (Germanic tribes) from 428 to 477 AD. He conquered a large part of Roman Africa and in 455 sacked Rome. He played a key role in the decline of the Western Roman Empire during the 5th century. Genseric succeeded his brother Gunderic at a time when the Vandals were settled in Baetica (modern Andalusia, Spain).

as excited as i am for sumeru and dendro characters, it IS fucking wack how there is so little dark skin characters in a region thats inspired by real world countries with a prominent poc population. especially the archon, girl fr probably gonna be more pale than the damn tsaritsa herself

HOWEVER i dont see the reason to be upset that she has the appearance of a child. shes the youngest archon and i personally thing its an interesting idea that the god of wisdom is this like 4ft tall kid. its a cool story idea.

but seriously whats with the lack of darker skin tones this is actual bullshit :/
