Round one
The Residents
Formed in: 1969
Genres: Art rock, industrial, electronic, avant-pop
Lineup: Hardy Fox - keyboards, production, composer
All other members have remained anonymous by choice, instead performing with masks on. There are four active Residents in live shows, though it is unknown how many have joined or left the group or been active at any given time.
Albums from the 80s:
Commercial Album (1980)
Diskomo / Goosebump EP (1980)
Mark of the Mole (1981)
The Tunes of Two Cities (1982)
Intermission EP (1982)
(they did a lot more like A LOT)
Propaganda: These weirdos are almost certainly going to lose in round one. A group of anonymous avant garde weirdos who wear eyeball masks while playing? Not exactly most folks' idea of "hot." I just submitted them to hopefully interest a few people in checking out their strange and sometimes wonderful oveure.
Hanoi Rocks
Formed in: They were formed in 1979 (Razzle joined in ‘82)
Genres: Glam punk, glam rock
Lineup: Michael Monroe- vocals
Andy McCoy- lead guitar
Nasty Suicide- rhythmic guitar
Razzle- drums
Sami Yaffa- bass
Albums from the 80s:
Bangkok Shocks, Saigon Shakes, Hanoi Rocks (1981)
Oriental Beat (1982)
Self Destruction Blues (1982)
Back to Mystery City (1983)
Two Steps from the Move (1984)
Propaganda: a criminally underrated band whose musical influenced many popular bands like GNR. Also they are all so pretty! Like Micheal Monroe is absolutely gorgeous and is giving me complete gender envy, if they get out first round I’m going to cry.

There's no better way to describe the fact that I don't really understand (sexual) attraction than telling someone that I'm attracted (it's fondness rather, really) to each of these people equally:
And yes, one of them is an alien.
