WHAT IS FAITH? Hebrews 11:1,3 - Faith is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped-for; the EVIDENCE of things not seen…
Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God; so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (In Isaac Newton’s assessment of the Emerald tablet—things hoped-for are already created in the unseen realm and are brought into the material realm by three entities: faith, hope and love - ’things which do not appear’
DOES EVERYONE HAVE FAITH? and WHERE DOES IT COME-FROM? Romans 12:3 - God has dealt to every man a measure* of faith. *MEASURE - G3358: a limited portion.
Hebrews 12:2 - Looking unto Jesus, the author* and finisher* of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross… *AUTHOR - G756 and G757: God commences; or rehearses from the beginning (to everyone as he is born into the world) *FINISHER - G5056: God sets-out for a definite point or goal); properly the point aimed at as a limit, that is, (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state + continual, as His custom, to the final end. Comparing with G5411: For God—it’s a load of work on each individual’s life—giving them trials and tests that will perfect his or her faith.)
In Mark 11:12-23 we have the story of Jesus and His disciples, on one early morning—walking from Bethany to Jerusalem. Being hungry, Jesus spied a fig tree afar off, that had leaves; and coming to it, hoping to find figs—He found nothing but leaves; and said to it, “No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever.” (The fig tree produces it’s fruit before producing leaves so that when it has it’s leaves, it also has ripe fruit ready to be eaten.) At the end of the day Jesus/Yhswh and His disciples returned to Bethany, and it was the next morning that, as they passed by the fig tree—it was dried-up from the roots and the disciples remarked about it being dried up so quickly. Jesus said to them: “Have faith in God.” Then He added: “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall NOT DOUBT in his heart, but shall BELIEVE that those THINGS which he SAITH shall come to pass; he shall HAVE whatsoever he SAITH.”

FAITH!
• “Now FAITH is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” —Hebrews 11:1
• “And without FAITH it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” —Hebrews 11:6
• “I tell you the truth, if you have FAITH as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” —Matthew 17:20
• “Fight the good fight of the FAITH. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. ” —1 Timothy 6:12
• “We live by FAITH not by sight.” —2 Corinthians 5:7
• “Be on your guard; stand firm in the FAITH; be men of courage, be strong.” —1 Corinthians 16:13
Faith is the most important gift a Christian has (other than Salvation in Jesus Christ and God’s Word: The God-breathed, Spirit-filled Holy Bible). With God and faith, the impossible can become the possible. Hebrews chapter 11 (https://bible.com/bible/116/heb.11.NLT) is all about the faith of people in the Bible: Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses (and his parents), Rahab and the people of Israel! And these are just the people mentioned in Hebrews 11! There are many more ordinary people throughout the Bible who were chosen by God and, by faith (and with God’s help), did amazing, miraculous things.
Friend (just like the people in the Bible), with faith and God’s help, there is nothing you and God can't achieve together. Keep seeking God’s will, keep praying, keep believing (Lk 11:9-10, Mk 11:24) and you will see miracles begin to happen. Amen and Hallelujah! 🙌🙌🙌

Faith is . . . the evidence of things not seen — Hebrews 11:1
True faith drops its letter in the post office box and lets it go. Distrust holds onto a corner of it and wonders why the answer never comes. In my desk are some letters that I wrote weeks ago. But there was some slight uncertainty about the address or the contents so they are yet unmailed. As yet they have not done me or anyone else any good. They will never accomplish anything until I let them go out of my hands and trust them to the postal system. This is the case with true faith. it hands its case over to God and then He works. There is an appropriate verse in Psalm 37: Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he [worketh] (v. 5). But He never works until we commit. Faith is a receiving-or still better-a taking of God's proffered gifts. We may believe and come and commit and rest, but we will not fully realize all our blessing until we begin to receive and come into the attitude of abiding and taking.
