A new day had brought with it a different mission for the Spider Society's leader to take charge of, a situation where some reassembly was required in order to put the frayed pieces of time and space back together. Accustomed to going alone, particularly when a speedy response was required, it wasn't beyond the realm of the ordinary to see him travel with other Spiders in tow, no mind paid to how long they'd been hunting anomalies and fixing the multiverse. New or old, Miguel would take what he could get.

Head lowered, a pesky preoccupation with his watch saw his response suffer a delay, engrossed as he was in the process of scanning their surroundings for danger, before beginning their sweep. The few words that manage to reach him, such as 'don't eat me', were a cutting wound that slashed at his heart, dragging his head upwards with such a sharp, sudden movement that almost looked like it risked inflicting injury.

"What was that?"

Thoughts prickled in a way that irritated him more than he'd expected, due to the insinuation implied, Miguel, dropping all pretence of kindness, momentarily whirled on the other Spider with a heated tone.

"Crack another comment like that, and I'm taking your dimensional gizmo back. You should focus instead on what we're here to do."

"Hey... don't worry about it, Jude." Jude would have done the same for him, Ludger was sure. After all, they had come this far because they'd been working together. Getting hurt was just par for the course at that point, and while Ludger was neither a doctor nor a healer he still wanted to do something. Anything. He couldn't just let Jude suffer.

"Here... it's not much, but it should take some of the edge off," Ludger said, offering the young scientist one of their limited gel supply. Having to send just about every single gald he earned to Nova made it harder to stay stocked on such vital supplies. Ludger didn't have much of a choice but to dip into those supplies now, though. He didn't claim to know how gels worked, but the candy-like substance had helped in the past. It was surely going to help again. At least until they could safely find somewhere to properly get Jude healed.

I should invest in some bandages next time we're shopping... maybe some other medical supplies, too, he thought.

"Does it hurt to move?" Again, Ludger wasn't a doctor. But he did need to know that much so they could figure out what to do next.

An interesting observation, in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, while Ness completely follows the move's description, summoning flames from his fingertips, Lucas instead does it with the palm of his hands. Thinner fabrics, shortened shirts, and the like— but with more unfamiliar faces coming through Rivington, the mercenary had started to cover up more as if to blend in better with the locals. 

Luckily for her, her most prominent features as an aasimar can simply be brushed off as the luck of the draw when she was born.

It's another swing and a miss for his attempts at offering casual greetings, a fact that etches an annoyed scowl across his mug as he pulls up next to his brother. Shock him for trying, he supposes in secret to himself, almost regretfully, but had expected nothing less from the other.

"Where's the fire, Spider-Man? 'Fraid you'll get burnt?" Despite his felt annoyance, he refused to pass up the chance to let slip a retort. Had he felt otherwise inclined, Gabriel would have refused to offer Miguel assistance here, leave him high and dry. Only... that wasn't how the man operated. And as much as Miguel frustrated him... he did worry about his sibling a whole lot more.

"Hop in and I'll take you home!"

The strain in his voice is telling, yet the Spider shows an unwillingness to stop. My all time comfort character is Red from Pokémon Adventures, but my current fixation comfort character is Tweek!! I relate to him bc of his anxiety and fears, I just want to put him in my pocket

..Huh. This question makes me realise just how little I think ab cryptids. Tho I’d have to say Nessie! The Loch Ness Monster, I mean. I’m not sure if she counts all that much, but whenever my family and I went to the Loch I’d always carefully watch the water just in case

31. What type of music keeps you grounded?

Oh, hm. I don’t really know? Never really thought ab it before. I guess songs that I can relate to the most in a particular moment. Today had been particularly stressful for me so I skipped to some uplifting (kinda? Boy in the Bubble by Alec Benjamin and Life Starts Now by Three Days Grace don’t quite fit that category imo) songs I listened to them to help me out

I surprisingly didn’t? I got myself out a doughnut to eat earlier but didn’t. Only things I had were lunch and dinner haha
