ACE

-This man has no experience in love whatsoever. Nor does he know what it is. So he was really fucking confused about what he felt until two weeks later after him unintentionally falling for you.

-He gets more flustered and defensive, it's kind of adorable! He trips over his words, cheeks really pink, like a tsundere! Because he is a tsundere and no one will convince me otherwise.

-Whit and Arei tease him a lot about it and he blows up on them and then hides his face.

-When he does realize it's love he feels, he gets really scared. The fear of disappointing you is real. That's why he's scared of confessing to you.

-His chest hurts even more when he sees you talking to people that he thinks are way better looking or have a better personality than him (like all of the class except Arei and Whit). Self-degrading, am I right?

-But the happiness in his eyes when he confesses and you accept. Oh that happiness right there. You have never seen him this happy before and you love it.

-If you were to reject him, he'd be pissed at himself for even thinking you would accept (maybe accidentally taking it out on you and running away in shame after), and shut himself out from others. Just act likehis chapter 2 self, y'know.

LEVI

-'I'm sure that girls like... water.' I'm sorry, he has no love experience.

-He is so confused as to why his heart beats faster whenever he's around you, and as to why he feels his face burn. Metaphorically.

-Hu explains this to him because they're best friends (or dating if this wasn't a Levi x reader i love them anyways because such a cute dynamic.)

-*Cough cough* AS I WAS SAYING. Hu explains the whole concept of love to Levi and he was like: "Oh. O h." Like in one of those spicy AO3 fanfics.

-He does get a bit shyer (how tf do you spell that) around you when he knows because 'of shit what if I screw up-' EVEN THO HE WOULDN'T BECAUSE HE'S BF MATERIAL

-Jealousy, he never felt it. He has never been jealous of anyone and will never be.

-He does take a while to confess, but when he does, you can see the imaginary puppy ears going up and the imaginary puppy tail swinging from side to side, his eyes lighting up in happiness too.

-He understands if you were to reject him. It makes him a bit sad, but he can bear it. The feelings never left, though. They stick there, and it hurts him.

XANDER

-This man. Oh this man. Where do I even begin with him.

-Unlike Levi and Ace, he knows that he's in love with you. But ue's in denial. He should really see that river in Egypt/jk

-He rants a lot to David and Teruko, literally the two get ao tired and are like 'CONFESS ALREADY YOU DUMB FUCK!!!' and he's like 'BUT THEY LIKE ME AS A FRIEND BESIDES THEY PROBABLY LIKE MR. DAVID MORE!!!'

-At this point Teruko and David are so done with teasing him they just start pushing him to confess but he can't. Because, again, denial is a river in Egypt.

-Jealous? Yes. Of David. Of motherfucking. David. Chiem. I mean, fair, but still!!

-When he confesses (read: Teruko and David acting as cupids), he is so happy when you accept. He literally hugs you and spins you around a lot.

-Reject him? That's fine, he'll just go tell Teruko and David he was right all along after that and cry in his bed. The last part is a bit of a joke, but his mood would drop significantly.

Wow this Dair topic is great. I personally Dan has a bigger backbone then Dair fans like to admit. Also it feels like you’re saying Blair isn’t a good person. Maybe I misunderstood. Either way I believe Dan moved on from the UES after season 5 and never came back in my head lol. So what do I know.

I don't think Dan doesn't have a backbone, but I think it's pretty canon that he is very conflict-avoidant & doesn't like talking about difficult topics, esp when it comes to himself/his feelings. Examples that are coming to mind are how he doesn't tell V that she hurt him when she returns in 1x06 (it's jenny & rufus who tell her), when his mom returns he only talks to her about abandoning jenny, even tho alison left him, too, and he's clearly hurt about it, being nervous about sex with serena in 1x07 and how he does NOT tell her, the part in s2 2x02/2x03 where he knows he needs to have a conversation w/ serena about their relationship but she's avoiding it and he avoids it too, talking about milo once milo's taken away from him and how he refuses to do that, and. there's probably more examples that aren't coming to mind.

so i do think it'd be in character for dan to feel uncomfortable/insecure/nervous about something and just be quiet about it.

blair being a good person or not is honestly a classification i don't rlly have interest in? like i am not at heaven's gates deciding whether she's in or out, you know? i personally believe anyway that everyone has good aspects AND bad aspects, and on a show like gg we really see that - almost everyone is morally grey and does fucked up things, but almost everyone tries to do the right thing and fix things that have gone wrong at some point, as well.

what i AM saying is that blair is canonically very classist/racist, and there are ample examples i could bring up of this, such as: how she treats her minions, like possessions. how she treats dorota at times (like dorota should be 'grateful' to have a job at the waldorfs and would be totally lost without their generosity). how she uses jenny's sincere desire to be her friend and tries (and succeeds!) at ruining her life in multiple instances. how she tries to turn vanessa into the punchline of a joke and says something incredibly racist to her ( that entire 'some people are simply better than others' speech) and probably more!!! there's so many more examples.

and i think we as a fandom gloss over that. i have no idea why. i've seen people thoughtfully engage with character flaws of almost everyone, but for some reason, having issues with blair is practically unheard of. it might be because of leighton's performance as blair (i think she's hands-down the most talented actor on set, to be extremely honest).

i don't hate blair, or think people should hate her, or whatever. i find blair SO interesting. she is so layered and nuanced. she has many character attributes that i admire and like - her determination, her focus, her intelligence, the way she loves the people she loves with all her heart even if she doesn't always show it (case in point: serena), but i can't enjoy her character uncritically, because i do not trust women who use their rich-white-woman privilege as a shield to avoid accountability for how they treat less wealthy people, or women of colour.

also "dan moved on from the UES and never came back" is one of my favourite dan headcanons! i think it would've been amazing. i have a slightly depressing fic about that here. i might even continue it/ turn it into a series one day.

WHAT THE HECK I know for a fact I had an ask about how Maria and Galio met but it’s gone now I cry …… I shall answer anyway because it made me happy to see ue ue

so basically besties ……. Maria was an orphan that had lived an independent life for herself for as long as she could remember, and was veryyyy magically gifted. so basically she was girlbossing it up without any danger and the people of the village that she took up residence in ( near Nemu village ) were really cool and loved her and so … yeah they were all vibing

AND GALIO was a young traveler that never really planned to travel ??? he lived in a part of Levianta that housed a lot of people coming from Jamataikoku ( wink wonk so he has a mother with Jama blood that grew up in that same area and a father that’s half Asmodean because … vague Gammon reference even though I still don’t know if I want him to actually be Gammon yet u feel me ) and he liked it there but he just wanted to see … MORE of Levianta

so yeah when he’s like … 17 he just kinda travels around Levianta to see what it’s like outside his home and eventually winds up passing through the village Maria ( who is 16 ) lives in and he’s like “woah … pretty village …… WOAH … PRETTY VILLAGE GIRL ……” anddd yeah they def have a cute but subconscious love at first sight moment andddd Galio stays in that village longer than he expected

and so Maria kinda takes him into her home since he’s a traveler without one around himself ( and also she’s lonely </3 ) and they REALLY hit it off …… getting closer and closer until they for sure fall in love hehe … it’s very sweet 💕

once they’re 19 and 18 respectively is when they decide to marry in a very Adam and Eve way in the forest anddd they’re happy for about 2 seconds !!!!!! soon enough Maria’s pregnant with Adam and then ……….. everything gets bad !!!!!

^ to explain that, basically when she’s close to having Adam is when the senate comes to her ( as they’ve been watching her and others like her but mostly just her ) because she’s so magically gifted to the point where it’s kind of a rumor that a very powerful young witch lives in the south and they were like hmmmm … queen material 🤫

and yeah they’re like “ur queen now deal with it.” and take her away. she only let them because she made them promise to let Galio to come with her or else she wouldn’t go… as well as make sure they would NEVER come back

and yeah she wasn’t happy suddenly becoming a literal queen of a country but she felt that if she’d made it this far through life’s hardships… she could do this with her hubby and soon to be born baby by her side :’)

…….that didn’t happen as we all know BUT HEY it’s fine for a little bit… before Galio is murdered and Adam is traumatized before getting his memory wiped and the baby boy Maria was pregnant with when Galio died is the one yeeted into the river by the senate and Maria becomes broken and “Alice-ified” for good

uhm .. yeah .. it’s not so fine 💔

BUT THERE WE GO my very long and rambly and nonsensical and not as detailed as I’d like explanation of Maria and Galio’s early life together 👍👍👍 aren’t they so hashtag cute 🥺 ehe jokes aside tho I love them so much andddd … I hope u do too okay love u muah 💕💕💕

This is what I sent to her lol (under a cut tho bc im not that mean)

DONT LOOK UNDER THIS CUT FOR GIVEN SPOILERS!!!!

Ritsuka quickly realizes that Mafuyu is an exceptionally talented singer, and invites him to join the band. Ritsuka learns that Mafuyu's guitar was previously owned by Yuuki, Mafuyu's childhood friend and boyfriend who died in an apparent suicide. The band begins composing music in advance of a live performance, but Mafuyu is unable to write lyrics for the song.

On the day of the performance, Mafuyu has a breakthrough and sings a powerful song about his feelings of loss over Yuuki. The song prompts Ritsuka to realize his romantic feelings for Mafuyu; he kisses him backstage, and they begin dating shortly thereafter.

The band names itself – "Given", in tribute to the guitar given to Mafuyu by Yuuki – and begin to develop a following after posting a video of their live performance online. Given qualifies for a major amateur music festival, and begin preparing new material. Their efforts are complicated when Akihiko, who Haruki secretly has romantic feelings for, becomes involved with his roommate and ex-boyfriend Ugetsu.

Ok so in the beginning of our show: our first protag mafuyu sato is seen walking to school In the rain (with an umbrella tho lol) he says, as narrator, “mafuyu is not lonely.” And also some other stuff that’s all vibe you know? So THIS is repeated through out the series with him saying that “mafuyu isn’t lonely” especially when something bad happens. The thing is he IS lonely. Why you may ask? Well, his ex boyfriend from middle school killed himself and he thinks it’s his fault and stuff. They had gotten into an argument and he drank himself to death. RIP yuki. The only time where I personally believe this statement of ‘not loneliness’ is true is after Uenoyama (other protagonist and love interest) kisses him. I think that’s very swagger. Right before sed kiss mafuyu sang a song that he wrote at a live performance with da band about his heartbreak with yuki’s death. The person he truly loved. It’s called fuyu no hashi and I recommend you give it a listen it’s really good. Uhm but uhhh he realizes after da kiss that he has a new love ❤️ Ue! Yay canon gay ship time let’s party owah owah

NOW I wanna talk abt the opening and op lyrics. They are SO GOOD. they explain Mafuyu’s situation so we’ll just *mwah*. I think it’s called kizuato. There’s this one part where the singer (which could be interpreted as mafuyu despite it not be8gn his voice) says “Rainy, sunny and cloudy

Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. 365 days. You remain in all of them.” When he says the last line “you remain in all of them” we see mafuyu holding his guitar when a pair of arms wraps around him from behind like a hug. He shifts and kind of like compresses himself? Like you know what would happen if you got a hug. These arms are kinda transparent and they disappear before the line and that clip is over. AT FIRST before I knew about yuki and all that I thoguht they were from his late dad but now I believe the arms belong to yuki. Mafuyu’s dad was abusive and hit him when he spoke and I thoguht that would be the part of his trauma the show focused on but it wasn’t, instead they focused on yuki and his death more. Anyways I thoguht that was cool and representative of what happened pretty well.

Part of it also makes me wanna cry tho. It says “Dig them out. Take away these memories. The invisible voices that wouldn't reach. That Make me suffer/ suffocate me. Search deeper and take a look at this pain inside of me.” Specifically the “take away these memories” part just,, damn. And the invisible voices thing is just too fucking relatable. I’m so sorry Mafuyu

Oh god now I’m getting emotional about fictional boys who play guitar in front of my friends. Sorry guys.

Anyways. Main statement of the song time. “Everything you left behind, became my everything.” D a m n. Not only could he be talking about the guitar the he owns that is from Yuki he could also just be talking about the memories. ‘All the memories you left me, became the only thing that brought me comfort’ and that’s just... so sad man. He LOVED this boy. So much :/ It’s equally as sad with the guitar too. Because of how desperately he wanted to learn to play. For yuki’s sake because YUKI loved music. ‘This guitar you (kinda your mom but wtv lol) gave me, became my life” because it DOES become his life. When he finally accepts new love is after singing fuyu no hanashi. He finally lets go of all the pent up grievance and emotions while singing that song.

Now that point flows perfectly into our next one. It’s a possibility This will be the last one so just bear with me, please! So, one of Mafuyu’s main things is that he never knows how to respond or react the “proper” way. First of all!!!! NEURODIVERGENT KING. Second of all!!!! He talks about how he just doesn’t feel emotions as strongly or just the right way as other people. And how he can’t bring himself to cry and can’t cry despite losing his true love. After the kiss, mafuyu cries. A started clapping for him like yay!!! An icon ❤️ not only did he find a new love and move through some trauma but he also experienced a lot of emotions that he struggles to experience! That’s so good for him 💕💕But yeah he’d been talking about in the show how he just couldn’t “cry or laugh as hard as the other people could” which I can understand very well. It can feel dehumanizing at times so I’m really happy for him. One of the main reasons I kin him!

This brings me into a sort of continuation point about how no thought brain empty emotionless kin time. Sorry o just had to write that out Bc my nose started bleeding and I had to go take care of that and also not forget my clause (again). Mafuyu talks to Uenoyama about how everyone thinks that he doesn’t have emotions or doesn’t have thoughts because of how quiet he is and how emotionless he seems. And how he’s come to kind of believe it himself (a sort of ‘am I really thinking ever’ type beat). Ue kinda-over-aggressively is liek “hell no!!!! No way brain not have thought >:(“ like a old you know? And yes KIN TIME. not to make it about me or anything but I’m also constantly told/it’s joked about how I don’t have emotions. I just kinda roll with it tho.

I wanna say one more thing to end off on a note that isn’t about me but I can’t think of one so let me think. So much for that other one being the last shsndujsjjsidj

:OOOOO ok so I’m rewatching given and I just noticed another thing

So in the beginning, the VERY FIRST thing mafuyu talks about is how he keep shaving the same dream over and over again (this is to himself when he’s walking to school). Then, we see a clip of this dream. He is standing in front of someone (but it’s kinda shadowed so I didn’t see the other person the first time) and his eyes go wide and he grips his guitar so hard one of the strings snap.

Not only do I realize that 1) that dream actually happened: hs8 is a scene from when he fo7nd yuki’s body hanging (mafuyu was the one who found him dead). You can tell from the bottles on the ground (yuki got super drunk and then hung himself). this is why mafuyu’s guitar string is broken for Uenoyama to later fix.

I also realize 2) that this dream actually happened. I realized this when watching the show the first time tho lol. Right before the big concert, mafuyu accidentally breaks his guitar string again. And then Ue has to go run to the music store and buy a new one. That’s why there’s a look of desperation on his face when it happens because, Uenoyama brought his hope back by fixing the string the first time but now he messed it up again. Thank the lord for Haruki and reminding them it can be fixed!

Last thing 3) I talked about the hug scene in the last rant right? Well, when mafuyu broke the strings the first time (upon discovering yuki’s body), he mirrored the motions that he made in the hug scene in the opening. I think I described it as him shifting his body and guitar and like compressing himself? Yeah.

I realized one last minuscule thing while writing this but I doubt you care.

This is gonna be hard, where do I even start?

1) Keith (Voltron: Legendary Defender)

Okay I'm- trying not to laugh too hard because oh boy, this show was a complete mess. BUT Keith still stays as one of my favorite characters ever just because no matter how badly I was hurt by vld he'll always be precious to me 💖 He's hotheaded, cool and a lone wolf, but needs affection more than anyone else on the team. He's easy for me to relate to as I am more likely to push someone away than to keep them close just to avoid being hurt as well. His development is amazing tho and I love love him so much 😭 also it might be just that I have a soft spot for emo characters lmao

2) Todoroki Shoto (Boku no Hero Academia)

This just reinforces my statement earlier since Todoroki is pretty emo too :') But in a different way than Keith. If you are a part of bnha fandom you know he's generally a little bit overrated, but I couldn't help falling in love with him at first sight anyway lol His backstory is tragic but he keeps pursuing his dream and damn is he good at it. Also the combo of fire and ice is aesthetic goals. However, what I admire the most about Shoto is probably his loyalty to his friends, his will to fight and sometimes his goofy attitude (even if he probably isn't aware that he's being goofy lol) In conclusion: I love him, let's move on.

3) Uenoyama Ritsuka (Given)

Can I just stop to say how much I love given for a moment? Like I've never seen a bl anime/manga that would portray gay characters so respectfully 😭❤️ Ue is basically me gay panicking, I feel the boy so much :') OH also what's up with gays & guitars bc first given, then why r u and now also 2gether :') (I might be falling in love with this trope help) okay so: Ue is panicking when he starts liking Mafuyu but he handles it so well in a way? He doesn't deny his crush even if he is slow to notice it lol He's straightforward and sometimes a little bit rough around the edges, but even if he's supposed to be "the cool guy" we see him in the most hilarious settings and that just makes me love him all the more 💖 he respects Mafuyu and his boundaries and I want more of that in bl anime please

4) Eiji & Ash (Banana Fish)

Uhhhh this anime,,, I CANNOT choose between Ash and Eiji, I'm gonna forever see them as a pair and that's simply it. Ash is another emo one I would like to say that but he's actually not. He's backstory is heartbreaking and the life he has to live is dangerous and scary. He gets used to this reality where he has no one to rely on and no one to trust but then Eiji appears tearing his walls down and making him finally be able to show his soft and sensitive side to someone. Eiji is like a salve for his wounds and yes, I'm still emotional about it bc their relationship is one of the best developped I've ever seen. Their bond is so strong it's beautiful, they would literally die for each other. It's so apparent that they love each other and care for each other so much (don't mind me crying in the corner)

5) Percy Jackson (Percy Jackson & the Olympians)

PJ technically got me into fantasy/sci-fi in elementary school and it stays at the top of my favorite book series list ever (big props to Uncle Rick 👏) The whole series is funny and I would say pretty light-hearted even tho you know,,, Percy saves the world several times, lol, usual demigod things™. He's lovable. Son of Poseidon so he has seaweeds instead of a brain (or so you thought, he is brilliant at strategic planning and has a charisma to be a great leader), has a very good sense of humor, is loyal and would risk everything for his friends. Also he loves his girlfriend very much and I was crying while reading the House of Hades but no one needed to know that oh well. I'm also gonna mention Nico de Angelo here, since he fell in love with Percy (didn't we all tho) and was the first gay character I saw portrayed in the book and oh do I love him 😭💖

6) 707 (Mystic Messenger)

Was I losing sleep over this game? I was. Do I regret anything? Absolutely not. I think my choices are pretty boring tho, since Seven is literally everyone's favorite but oh boy there's a reason for that. Apart from being a talented hacker who knows too much (and I think is cautious of us the most at the start) he has a lovely happy-go-lucky personality composed of all the lame jokes, questions "have you eaten already" and anxiety (another emo one). He's that type of a character who will always try to make you laugh but you never know what's going on inside his head. He's mysterious and we don't get to know him well till his route so pretty much till the end of the game lol. Also he loves his brother, phd pepper, honey buddha chips and Elizabeth 3rd the most in this entire world and I love him for that

7) Evan Hansen (Dear Evan Hansen)

ANOTHER EMO ONE okay but hear me out Evan has social anxiety and its portrayal is almost too real for me. He makes a big oopsie which at the start seems like a little innocent lie but then snowballs to enormous sizes. He gains everything in this bargain, a best (dead) friend, a caring mother, a father, a girlfriend even - and then everything falls apart since it all is built on one fat lie. He makes a lot of mistakes and then some more but you get it and you feel for him, and you cry with him and you're happy for him. And when all of this is over you're glad that he's still there trying his best, taking it one day at a time. And sidenote: Ben Platt's voice is angelic and I love him as Evan 💖💖💖

8) Isak (SKAM)

Another gay panicking one. I'm starting to realize there's a set of traits that I particularly like in fictional characters lol But ye, when I was watching skam ofc it was the third season which gripped me the most and kept me on the edge, bc yet again Isak taking an "are you gay" test was way too real for me. He makes a lot of mistakes along the way of figuring out his sexuality and sometimes stuff with Evan becomes really messy (for both of them) but he stays with him nevertheless ❤️ Skam is literally so good in its portrayal of the characters :') Anyways: alt er love 💖

9) Viktor & Yuuri (Yuri on Ice)

Em, another one that I absolutely can't break up to just one bc how could I? Yuri on ice got me into skating ❤️ I went to an ice rink for the first time bc of this anime and I almost died but now look at me actually finishing my first three months of ice skating training and watching real life figure skating competitions :') Little did I know then. But they're not only my favourites bc of that, I genuinely love the development of their relationship from fan - idol through skater - couch to lovers and history makers in the end. I love how Yuuri is a ball of insecurities and how Viktor manages to reassure him. I love how Viktor fell in love with drunk Yuuri clinging to him. I love how at first Yuuri wasn't able to get too close to Viktor without getting flustered and it changes so drastically to them basically always holding onto each other. I love how Viktor was stuck with no inspiration but then Yuuri came and turned his world upside down. I love how they support and respect each other. I could probably go on into eternity like that and Yuri on ice isn't even the best anime I've ever seen but it's certainly my favourite one ❤️

10) Tutor (WHY R U)

I can't believe I'm so obsessed with thai dramas rn and I'm only gonna include Tor on this list smh He's mental attitude inspires me. He's able to hold so much and appears totally unfazed even if he's barely holding on inside. He's hardworking and doesn't want others to pity him since he can manage it all just fine. He has a kind heart, he's a wonderful friend (especially to Hwa, he always listens to her, gives her pieces of advise, supports her and tries to cheer her up). He never forgets to say thank you when he genuinely feels grateful. But as we've seen he also is passionate and when he loves he LOVES. Also he's the biggest tease to Fighter and I love him for that :') I am so satisfied just by seeing him happy, please do not change that whyru gods 🙏

As it appears I'm done .-. I have no idea what have just happened and if my rambling even makes sense but not that I care at this point. If you read this far, please drink some water now, that was a lot of reading to go through ❤️

There is one thing bugging me to this day. After the WDAKY novel was published Tite said fans who liked Ichigo and Rukia would cry, like himself. As someone who likes both IR and RR this was something I never understood. Why should the fans of Ichigo and Rukia cry? I personally felt kinda bittersweet, I was happy RR became canon, but on the other side, I believed there won't be any canon ships, because there was just not enough romance in Bleach for ships without them feeling too forced. 1

You come into my house….do you know what I went through for months after the ending, do u know I have trust issues thanks to Ku/bo, do you akshfksdhgksdg okay, okay, I’m not mad, I’m joking :) lol now more seriously, tbh I’ve never understood how RR and IH shippers always had no problems to be treated like they were for the 15 years the manga was ongoing, I never understood how could they be happy with such a empty non developed canon and how they still are ok to get treated the same way for (almost) 3 years after the ending, I would totally be mad, you all should be mad.

As for Ku/bo’s comment on the novel ”everyone who likes Ichigo and Rukia like me will cry” myself and I think almost all IR out there thought and felt that that comment was directed at us, what it really means and why he even had to comment such a thing only he knows, who knows maybe if I actually read the novel, I would get more the comment? But I don’t really care tbh, Ku/bo is a troll and I wasted enough years listening to his lies and being used bc I as an IR fan feel used, bc like you said he/wsj/anime and all the rest have always targeted the IR fandom and they still do to this day. “Ichigo and Rukia fans will cry” maybe it’s simply bc he knew IR fans will cry? Maybe it’s as simple as that. I was simply pissed he once again was talking about “ichigo and Rukia” in a supposed RR novel, ugh guys I don’t know how IH and RR shippers deal with this.

I disagree on the fact that only Ino/ue showed romantic interest, she is the only one that voiced it out but love is more than that and I also think that if IR would have been canon no one would have thought they were forced tbh, they had a great deal of stuff and development, who would have been surpised? I agree on the fact that an open ending would have been great but with the ending we got, the ships were the icing on the cake, they go well together.

As for why Ku/bo after all these years and after having made IH and RR canon still acts like the troll he is, once again only he knows. tbh I expected after the ending some kind of content from him for the ships, I mean he had to but like you said, no such thing happened, a couples of crappy sketches in the novel where no one knows how to smile, we got Ichigo and Rukia on the last cover, draws the kids with Ichigo and Rukia, tells to go watch the movie were Ichigo and Rukia are the focus and so on. I will never understand this man but in the end isn’t he doing what he has always done tho? When did he ever show IH or RR some love? We always got all the goodies and we still get them nothing changed aside from the fact that he made IH and RR canon, does he even like those ships? Beats me.

If he did and still does IR content bc of money, it’s kinda stupid tbh bc after the ending they should target the IH and RR fandom, it’s logic and there are even 2 kids they can use to make people go “aww” and try to gain more people interest and there is also the fact that IR fans are still pissed, is also kinda risky but then I also understand that there isn’t much they can do with the canon couples, RR were like brother and sisters since they grew up as family, IH simply lacks any kind of chemistry, maybe they just don’t know what to do with them? Who knows. Or maybe they simply think IR shippers gets them more money. As for Ku/bo aside from the money, he seems to lack the ability to draw IH and RR LMAO ok seriously, maybe he simply just loves to troll all of us, he did say he would use more Ino/ue in the manga to rile people up, so he confirmed he does things out of spite.

HELLO TUMBLR I HAVE JUST FINISHED GOSSIP GIRL AND NEED TO SHARE MY FEELINGS CUZ THERE ARE MANY

‼️ Spoilers if you haven’t seen gossip girl ‼️

Chuck & Blair are the main reason I finished the show tbh and their wedding was my favourite thing in the series. Well that and seeing them happy in their own home with a child in the flash forward. I’m only upset it didn’t happen sooner cuz I love them 🥰🥰🥰

I’m upset lily and Rufus didn’t end up together in the end ?????? they were my otp next to Chuck and Blair and were already married and they just ???? Ended it ????? For Bart bass who lily didn’t even want anymore when he fake died ????? Also I’m confused cuz right before they showed lily/William & Rufus/other girl I ddnt recognize lily and Rufus kissed so idk what that was about ?????? Anyways they’re still married in my head idc

Okay someone spoiled it for me that dan was gossip girl wayyyy before I started watching it and sometimes throughout the show even though I knew I thought maybe they were just joking and he wasn’t really her cuz I didn’t see how it made sense. like I get why he did it I guess, but I never rly liked him and Serena together from the beginning & idk to me him being so obsessed w the UES that he started a whole gossip page and worked his way into their world while still obsessing over them and posting about it but keeping it a secret just gives me creepy stalker vibes. Idk never been a dan fan.

Okay but I really liked Serena’s wedding dress. Also it was nice seeing her character development. Tbh I think she pissed me off like 85% of the show cuz I thought she was being a selfish diva most of the time but I liked her at the end. I wasn’t a fan of her short time as gossip girl tho that was weird and I ddnt like how she used her cousin. I love her and B as friends tho and I’m glad she ended up happy

Ivy dickens was the most annoying character on the show from the moment she appeared to the moment she left and her voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me. There was maybe a brief moment during Blair’s master scheme to get rid of Bart where she wasn’t being annoying and I almost liked her but nah. Also she literally conned the whole family (and the whole UES) regardless of whether she was being paid or not and then threw a tantrum when they ddnt welcome her back w open arms lol so it was rly annoying when she wanted to “take lily down” lmfao like why would u expect the woman u conned and then kicked to the curb to be nice to you

Blair is an iconic queen and I love her. The sass, the fashion, the connivance, the attitude, the strength, the stubbornness & determination, the lovingness, everything. That’s all. Fav character hands down

Chuck is a close second. I hated him at the beginning of the show but he definitely had my favourite character arc. Seeing him go from an immature boy who was neglected and used inappropriate coping mechanisms to a man who was willing to do anything to protect those he loves and wanting to do things right was my favourite thing. Maybe he’s my favourite character tbh. Or let’s call it a tie cuz they’re both my babies and I love them with all my heart.

The brief Blair and dan thing was really weird and I hated every second of it

As much as I hated Jenny Humphrey seeing her briefly during the flashforward (and also eric!) was nice. I hate her eye makeup tho

I never liked vanessa abrams and seeing her during briefly when gossip girl was revealed did not change that

DUDE THE WHOLE TIME I DIDNT KNOW KRISTEN BELL WAS THE VOICE OF GOSSIP GIRL LMAO

I’m happy nate got his happy ending with his successful career. I have had my ups and downs when it came to liking nate archibald but he did a lot of growing up from season 1-6 and I am very happy for him. ALSO I FOR THE FIRST 4 SEASONS IDK WHY I THOUGHT HE WAS PLAYED BY IAN SOMERHALDER LMFAOOOO.

The flashback in the last episode made me see how much they’ve all grown from the babies they were in season 1 and I just 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

Jack bass was a jack ass most of the show but the last 2 seasons I actually really liked him especially in the end.

Bart bass was a bitch n I never liked him from the start. I’m not even sorry he fell off a roof cuz his lying bitchass deserved that shit ✋🖕💅

One more about Chuck and Blair cuz I love them so much BUT THEY ARE THE CUTEST TOGETHER IM SORRY I DONT MAKE THE RULES. THE WAY THEYRE SO PROTECTIVE OF EACH OTHER. THE WAY THEY HELD BACK TO DO IT RIGHT. THAT ONE SCENE WHERE CHUCK TUCKED HER IN AND HELD HER FROM OUTSIDE THE COVERS FULLY CLOTHED. I LOVE THEIR LOVE STORY AND HOW MUCH THEY HAVE GROWN TOGETHER IM SORRY.

IN CONCLUSION: I have a love hate relationship with this show cuz most of the time it just pissed me off how stupid and selfish some of the characters were sometimes but also the plot lines were so good lmao and I love all the mains except dan and seeing them grow was fun and now I’m sad it’s over and idk what to do w my life and I will miss it dearly :(
