So I made a little split decision purchase the other day.

These are the Deathrippers from Warmachine. These were the last in stock on Amazon, and looking at most hobby shop sites I frequent, the last in stock I can find.

These little guys stole my heart the second I learned about them, and so as soon as I heard that they were no longer in print and were slowly being phased out, I immediately placed the Amazon order.

This is the first time I've ever acquired some Warmachine minis, so here's my little review of them!

These endangered bone doggos are great design wise, and I'm real sad that they aren't sticking around. I love the meshing of skulls and mechanical components in a subtle way. They aren't death guard's big biological nightmares, but they also aren't just regular ol' robots. I love the design choice to make them two-legged walker things instead of just another ol' four-legged dog thing, very creative! The porting on the necks is interesting, I'm unsure if the implications are that bones are magical and are causing it to overheat? Or maybe the machine runs hot and they want to keep the bones from getting melty? I dunno, but it's certainly neat looking!

4.5/5 on design!

Sadly, while the design is great, the mini quality leaves a little to be desired. First, the minis came in a little baggy instead of on sprues, which I have mixed feelings about.

On one hand, it's certainly convenient not to have to de-sprue the mini bits. On the other hand, these had some awful connection scars.

This was after I had scraped at them with a hobby knife for a bit, too. I'm likely going to have to pick up something to sand them down a bit. While I'm certainly calling the kettle here, I must say that these weren't taken off the sprues very well at all.

On top of that, the leg pins were slightly larger than the leg holes, which meant I had to do a mix of attempting to shove them in, scraping down the sides with my hobby knife and then rinse and repeat until they cooperated.

The instructions didn't help too much either. Figuring out how the top of the skull was supposed to fit onto the bottom took me a bit of pondering. The instructions just kinda had lines pointing to where they go.

Turns out you're supposed to attach the skull under a little overhang on the bottom jaw. The top piece has a rounded bit that fits in with a divot on the bottom piece, which... isn't what the instructions say to do.

Overall, I didn't have very much fun assembling these. Usually, (when I'm dealing with plastic, not resin minis) mini assembly is challenging, but at least a little fun. These were just a hassle.

Assembly and mini quality: 2/5

Despite that, I'm still planning on basing these and giving them the display quality treatment. In the off chance these end up becoming a collectors item or something (unlikely), it'd be nice to have some high-quality painted versions to show off/potentially sell.

Heck, since they're going out of print, I might look into making some molds of them to recast or see if I can get a really high-quality scan of them to 3D print myself! It'd be nice to not have these little goofballs fade into obscurity, I think they're my favorite thing to come out of Warmachine, if not the best thing to come out of Warmachine.

I saw you were doing md character requests so I wanted to ask if you could do one or two of my nuzi fankids. Both are relatively simple in design as they have no solver in their system but they still have their quirks. The kids are named Kayden and Beretta (Bree for short) with Kayden being the older brother and Bree being a near clone of her mom. Both do have long fangs (possibly barely sticking out of the mouth) due to Uzi installed a venom-virus that does limb paralysis upon being bitten. Kayden: Standard male MD body, white colored lights, silver colored hair with semi curls but having purple colored frosted tips on his hair. Can do his father's "big scary smile" well but not quite there, relatively friendly but has some reserved smart and cleverness from his mom that he rarely shows. He can still get himself into trouble but he's the relatively good kid as long as you don't anger him, and his tail stinger is retractable (nanites forming his stinger when stressed/angered, otherwise his tail just has the canister at the end that could be used to bonk). He's cautious but will throw hands, and tackle his sister if she's getting a bit too energetic. He really likes talking with others and reading, he doesn't like J though. Bree: Near clone of her mom with similar curls to both her mom and dad, mostly purple short hair though some silver streaks. She's a small worker drone model and light purple lights but she has MD arms for self defense (Uzi had paranoia of people going after them) and is one hell of a troublemaker as a result, a real bitey gremlin with feisty personality unless around those she fully trusts with her softer side. (She may or may not have a hidden tail similar to an MD tail but she doesn't know that yet). V's little partner in crime, a bit cautious of Tessa, but tries to take down J on sight. Fun fact Uzi made her family a robo-dog named Copper! And he may or may not be a therapy/helper/guardian dog that looks like a cross between german shepard and golden retriever, the best and only doggo around.

Digimon Tamers - Episode 27

This episode was really fun and it felt like a lot happened. Pretty bizarro conceptually. As usual, I have QUESTIONS! The digimon blind watching experience is full of questions.

Notes:

Never thought I'd see a digimon riding a motorcycle. For a second there I thought we were getting a motorcycle digimon lol.

The "rider-less" bike reminded me of Stephen King. Evil/possessed vehicles is a pretty cool concept and combining that with this whimsical fantasy village was a new twist.

Okay WTF, digimon age now?? The Tsuchidarumon village had little baby Tsuchidarumon and elderly wrinkled Tsuchidarumon. This has never been a thing before that I can recall! Why would data-based creatures age like that anyways? Also, this brings me back to the previous episode. Are you tellin' me that there are "kid" versions of Jijimon and Babamon that look the same but are smaller? What about the previous forms for the Tsuchidarumon, do they digivolve from a baby form into a baby Tsuchidarumon or...? I'm definitely overthinking this, but I've gotten pretty deep into the franchise at this point and visually aging outside of digivolving was not a thing before!

That baby Tsuchidarumon barely reacted when its relative died lol. I guess they didn't need to make the moment that dramatic, but then don't kill digimon so casually!

Juri just eats dirt and likes it? Was that supposed to be her being polite or is she just a freak?

We got the doggo deva! I really like his design, probably one of the best yet (I could do a tier ranking at this point). Funny how most of the deva have that same, cryptic way of talking. Definitely a cult.

Jian and Jian alone looked off model this episode lol. They drew his eyes very rectangular for some reason.

Culumon's 2 seconds of screentime were completely pointless. The weird binary forest was kinda neat though.

I have a crack theory that Terriermon is aware he's in an anime. The fact that he's constantly like "meh, it'll work out" makes it feel like he knows he has plot armor lol

Choromon (lil baby metal mouse) was really cute. When they introduced him I was thinking "oh boy another baby digimon I'll have to raise in a video game eventually."

Excited for Beelzebumon, but he totally blew it when he was like "I'm Beelzebumon" at the end there. Who are you talking to? You look like an idiot now. Also, I had to double check that that was Impmon's digivolution because they didn't show it happening really (I know it's literally in the title, but still!)

Guilmon and Terriermon were extra cute in this episode. I love them so much! Juri was kinda cute too, she's growing on me. (Not that I ever disliked her).

Do you think the SW Sequels Era did anything right? I've seen a lot of backlash in regards to what they did wrong, but I'm genuinely curious to see what some people think were positives ideas to come out of the whole ordeal. (Luke's characterization, Reylo canonicity completely sidelining Finn and Poe, and Disney/Execs overall throwing their POC cast to the wolves when they weren't happy with conditions were decisions that should have never been made in my own opinion btw)

This is one of those topics that might stir up a wasp's nest depending on who you ask, but honestly the Sequels Era as a whole wouldn't be so bad if the executive decisions behind them weren't such a disrespectful trash fire.

But yeah Anon, I getcha. We've all seen people's (rightfully) negative opinions of the Sequels Era and how much squandered potential the trilogy turned out to be. That said I do think there are some positives. Mostly in the form of ideas that DO still have potential so long as they're approached with care and consideration.

With that said, what I think they did right:

The Force Awakens - It's just a straight up good movie that opened the door to a lot of possibilities. Good OST, good cast, interesting alien and creature designs, combined some pretty dark elements that could very easily be explored more deeply by anyone who's interested in sparking a debate about willing conscription vs forced indoctrination and how to tell the two apart, etc. I still consider it a part of mine and @lost-on-kamino 's Forceful Intervention AU Verse because honestly it's a movie that paid excellent homage to both the original and prequels trilogies.

Star Wars Resistance - A lot of people consider it a subpar show, which honestly I don't see. It has so many interesting themes, from privileged kids that want to actually do good instead of sitting pretty while the world burns around them, the dangers of targeted propaganda and how it's specifically used on youths that are dealing with trauma left behind by war, trying to make your way in a galaxy that isn't always friendly but that can offer you community if you know where to look, and more. The cast is fun, the style isn't the worst I've seen in terms of animation, and overall I feel like it's a breath of fresh air to focus on characters that aren't inherently connected to the Force.

Kix Lives - There is absolutely so much potential behind the reveal that Kix was not only frozen in stasis by Dooku, but also found 50 years in the future after everyone he knew and held dear to his heart have been dead and gone for a long while now. The amount of survivor's guilt and trauma would be immeasurable, if not torturous, and I feel like the writers at least owe it to Kix to help him find some legacy his brothers might have left behind. Be it artifacts or even entire lineages they might have been able to start. If not that, then at least show us some of his adventures with the crew of the Meson Martinet.

Barghests - They added a new kind of space doggo that I absolutely love the design of, and want to see in action so badly. Just look at these absolute creatures of all time:

Delightful beasts! Friend shaped! Worthy of as much esteem as the humble Massiff, the zesty Charhound or the beefy Corellian Hound!

And that's about it on my list of things that the Sequels Era did right. If only the rest wasn't an absolute mess... We could have definitely had something really good to work with.

Ah well... Nothing like rolling up the proverbial sleeves and getting to work exploring all the wasted potential yourselves!

i think martyn is fox coded but lexi says he is more cat coded but also will go with fox coded.

i need to do a fucking line up but there are so many people thats so many people to draw TAT but really martyn isnt Small, hes 5'8", its just that ren is Massive

ren loves to bite, which was already drawn out by this person, but we also believe that martyn is Into it, and also has gotten to a point where, unless its the neck, he doesnt really gaf.

we both like to make them gnc but martyn is more obviously so. ren paints his claws, and likes to wear long skirts if the weather calls for it while martyn is a lot more creative with his expression

i consider ren more of a shifter than a werewolf, but i still like calling him a werewolf. mandatory moon shifts are still fun. hes also horse sized doggo. he likes to flop onto people he loves, in or out of wolf form. again martyn has gotten used to this.

i usually don't use the name dogwarts for a couple of reasons, one of them being how i headcanon the red army as a pack, like a proper one and everything. AND OH BOY THAT REQUIRES ITS OWN POST HONESTLY

i have many many thoughts abt how ren, martyn, skizz, etho and bigb interact with each other, how its changed their relationships fundamentally with those closest in their lives. ren had false and doc, but now hes got four others who he needs to have close at all times because he wants to take care of them and thats impossible bcus three of them are not on hermitcraft server, theyre not /home/ with him, and it drives him a bit batty and makes it easy to take advantage of him. doc, etho and false can only do so much.

and of course ren and martyn are proper soulmates, not whatever was going on in double life. no wonder bigb thought ren was cheating on him

2023... I got a lot of art done this year compared to past years! Though the year started out slow, between trades and commissions, the first quarter of the year somehow managed to have at least one good drawing a month, even if March's old-sketch-paintover looks a little strange next to all the creatures. XD; May and June continued the theme of painting over old, though June's original was considerably newer than May's. It also took me forever to find it!! Several of the ones I'd been going to put for June turned out to be from different months (no date on them so was going by modified date at first, oops!). And in July of course there was the Clysmia comic, August with the Choco 'comic'. September was another low but I managed to churn out another paintover. October of course had my annual flower-drawing saga with the last one featured here, and in November I got bored and drew Comet, and December held a delightful surprise in the form of a book-illustrating commission. :3 Gonna keep that one to just a preview since it's part of something that'll be published.

But! Let's go through all the rest. Keep reading for more on the rest of the pieces.

January - This was a secret santa for my good friend @toothpaste-dragon of her OC Baz! Love this grumpy crust of an alien. :D You can view the full pic here.

March - Paintover I did of my character Sleepi from Torn Apart! Since it was done over an older pic the style looks a little incongruent from my current style 😅 But this was also almost a year a go now, so, y'know.

April - My half of a design trade with @chrystallink! Doggos are a bit of a challenge for me, but it was a fun one! Full pic: x

May - A fittingly sunny pic of my character Nola. This was another one that I think had started from a paintover and just went places from there. Still a little strange-looking, but oh well. Plus a photo of some sunflowers in the background. XD

June: Progress pic of an absolute freak. An attempt was made to sketch out a hand to keep it from hiding, but I never did get back to this pic... 😂

July: As mentioned above, a comic for my good friend Dia featuring her gal Clysmia!

August: The tail end of a final ArtFight attack against Chocobir! I had so much fun putting in on the Easter eggs, and Choco is so cute!

September: The suave business lizard himself, it's Nell! Another one that's painted over an older sketch. Overall I think I improved the face shape a bit since the sketch? Maybe?

October: The final flower from Floratober 2023! I had a lot of fun and it was so great getting so much feedback this year. The wonders of posting on places other than Tumblr! lol.

November: Comet from Cosmic Baton Girl Comet-san! Whenever I need to get away and draw, Comet is there as my comfort anime. :) It's been a while since I've drawn the girl and watched the last bundle of episodes!

December: And of course, December's art! From a very fittingly snowy-themed project. :) I don't know yet how much I'll be able to talk about it, but it's certainly going to keep me busy for a while!

I made Chi Chi's doggo if Oatchi wasn't her Rescue Pup!

Meet Mochi!

I kinda designed him to look like my dog, but Mochi is a Puppy that was the runt of his pack. Chi Chi adopted him after seeing his playful personality with other pups of his pack, and soon as he got older along with Chi Chi, he was a more calm, but still playful, dog. He became a Rescue Pup after Chi Chi started working as a Rescue Recruit, though he does have some troubles picking up Purple Pikmin, he works as hard as he can to be the best Rescue Dog he can be!

Yes, he looks a little like Oatchi, but he has a few differences, for example, his ears stand up rather than flop down, and he has stars on his face and a flower mark on his back. He is also really, really fluffier and has brown eyes, greenish blue feet, green claws, and a pink puffball tail.

I had fun drawing him, he's a good boy. :)

Anyways, it's not much so take a glitch I encountered in Pikmin 1 at the Final Trial with a Yellow Pikmin after I tried getting it out of the water-

Barely Late ArtFight Mass Revenge

I fully intended to have this posted at 11:59 right before the fight ended, but I got totally screwed by the file being too large and I ended up missing the submission window by what must have been no more than five seconds. I'm absolutely crushed, but that's no reason to withhold these revenges I've done for twelve different people for an entire eleven months.

I decided to do something a bit different this year: instead of digital headshots, I went with traditional, which naturally ended up evolving into fullbodies on its own. Had it successfully submitted it would have been worth 240 points towards Team Vampire, but alas.

I’m DMing this post to each of the revenge recipients. Details (from left to right) and what I would’ve written in the post body below the cut.

ShippyFishy // Mr. Capgras - I love the pile of neuroscience in this dude’s ToyHouse bio, what a great concept! I got his colour sequence slightly wrong, but sadly there’s no ctrl-z in traditional ahah

Ragpie // Ash the Hyena - Your designs are so fun despite my having a hard time with them! The colouring’s a bit off but I hope you enjoy regardless.

Hello everyone!

My first tumbler post :3 I’m gonna be explaining what I’m going to use this for.

Tumblr seems to be the one place (aside from a few tiktok users and possibly Pinterest) where I can find other people who live for love Paper Mario The Origami King to the extent that I do.

Thus, I will be using this account (and whole social media platform) to interact with and post PMTOK content, including multiple AU ideas I’ve come up with.

I already have an AU that I post about, the Humanity AU, which you can find on my tiktok (@lookingforalex189), but on Tumblr, I’ll be focusing mainly on my Fallen Folds AU, with occasional posts about minor AUs.

The rest of this post will be explaining this AU, so if you don’t wanna read that, click off now and have a good rest of your week! :3

*ahem* So BASICALLY

Instead of the events of the canon game taking place, it’s a new set of events, this time centered around the Legion of Stationery (like my goddamn mind is).

After folding Olly and Olivia, the Origami Craftsman got his hands on some magic powder from a sketchy shop, which he was told was just glitter.

The ‘glitter’ spilled onto his stationery, and bada bing bada boom, the Legion of Stationery was born!

At first, everything was normal, the LOS became normal citizens in the Mushroom Kingdom, and everything was ok for a few months.

But then, the LOS went a little… crazy. They didn’t quite understand how the real world worked, so they did things how they wanted to, without seeing any repercussions.

(Jean Pierre) Colored Pencils (The 12th) started blowing up anything he wanted, Rubber Band was kidnapping people, Hole Punch would steal peoples faces and force them to dance with him, Tape caused havoc anywhere he could, Scissors went on a murdering spree, and Stapler tried to keep his friends sane because he’s a good doggo and wanted to keep his friends from being bad :3

Olly was at first trying to reason with his legion, but after Stapler was accidentally harm in one of CP’s explosions, any chance of peace vanished.

Teamed up with Mario and Olivia, Olly used the magic powder that started it all and locked the LOS away I’m different areas, putting a curse on each one so anyone who entered could never leave, to prevent the LOS from escaping.

Olly was able to control the curse, so just in case anyone stumbled into the areas by accident and needed rescuing, he could go in, get them, and open the curse just long enough to get out without risking escape from the LOS member in that area.

Colored Pencils was stuck in the lookout tower, Rubber Band was trapped in Shogun Studios, Hole Punch was sealed away in the Temple of Shrooms, Tape was stranded on the Sea Tower, Scissors was locked away in Bowser’s dungeon, and Stapler stayed free because he did nothing wrong :3

(Notice how it’s all the streamer locations?? And I wanted to make Rubber’s the whole park instead of just the theater for story reasons.)

The Legion, however, had no clue what they were doing was wrong and was confused as to why their friend had suddenly betrayed them like this. They thought they were just having harmless fun…

And so, a few years passed, and all was well in the Mushroom Kingdom… until it wasn’t. 😉

Reports of people going missing spread through the Mushroom Kingdom. Worried, Olly checks each of the LOS’s prisons to make sure none of them had escaped…

Uh oh.

The curse on Shogun Studios had been broken.

Rubber Band was loose in the kingdom, searching for their fellow legion members to free them and continue their fun.

Olly teams up with Maurica, a talented adolescent demi-girl with a knack for technology and astronomy, who is on the search for her missing boyfriend Michael Jon Luke, or MJ as she calls him.

Will Olly and Maurica stop the Legion of Stationery’s reuprising?

Or will the legion be free to roam again, and possibly plunge the Mushroom Kingdom into insanity?

Only time, and this tumblr acc, will tell.

Anyways, I’m gonna post the designs and maybe some comics, and if you guys ask for it, more details about the story.

Your approach to Ken as a character takes a previous one note, and frankly pretty underdeveloped idea of a character (I'm sorry the devs haven't given him enough exploration, I wish the tomes covered more than they did!) AND MADE HIM INTO THIS WHOLE PERSON WHO IS UNDERSTANDABLE-

But not forgivable! You've made Ken into this character who I can really understand the cause and effect for, who I can feel empathy and pity and shame for! ISTG you've main me a clown main fr /lh. ALSO LIKE, the plotting we've done and the relationship we've built up between him and Sally just goes to further show how far and how much you can write and adapt and make so engaging! I live for it! AND THAT'S NOT TALKING ABOUT YOUR ORIGINAL STUFF

I will just come out and say it! Ringmaster is one of the best, most compelling and frankly awesome original monster characters I have seen in far, far too long! Someone here explained it better but they harken to the best parts of classic Universal monsters and I could listen to you info dump about them for hours without getting bored!! You're just such an engaging story teller and such a sweet mun and I'm so glad I get to call you my pal!

And I love how everyone caught the influence of the Universal Monsters on my muses. I'm a huge fan of the classics and many of my characters are straight up based on Mr. Hyde (yes I know he's Paramount but shush he still counts meh), Frankenstein (don't even start with me on the bullshit about Frankenstein being just the doctor) and the Wolfman (doggo!)

So obviously the influence is DEEP and I love using them along with literary monsters, games, etc. Like sometimes I love mixing slashers with universal monsters lol.

Life/Doggo update:

I got a summer job at a local org that arranges events and summer camps for kids and families, I'm designing and painting those party prop things with holes cut on them that you can stick your face through to take a photo of you as a character

Junior still hasn't learned to pee outside properly, he keeps leaving traps for us to step on all over the house. He also slept next to me throughout the night the other day for the first time!

I'm currently working on a beefy wyvern lesbian aunt and IDK what her job should be outside her "secret" job OTL

Working at a summer camp sounds like so much fun, designing stuff for kids is absolutely one of my favourite things to do (I take my role as a cool uncle very seriously) And you're so great at using bold and fun colours that I bet you'll do amazing!!

I really hope you won't have to deal with Junior and Sock thief trying to mark over each other when it comes to peeing inside, when we had two male dogs that became a real isse for a looooong time😅 And oooh please talk more abot your OCs to me, I love her already!!!

Yandere France is more of the obsessive type. He loves to be your hairdresser, designer, stylist, cook etc. This may not be a bad thing because you will never leave the house looking frunpy.

He will take over what you eat because if he sees you scarf down another bowl of cheap ass noodles he will have a mental breakdown. It especially drives him mad when you eat it like it’s divine food. *cue him biting a napkin in despair with tears flying from his eyes*

“Mon cher non. I can’t spend another second seeing you eat that low-quality food.”

When you are not near him he will text you constantly to see if you’re okay. You’d receive texts like ‘Lovely where are you. You’ve not replied in 3 hours. I’m getting worried.” He will have a search team look for you at the 5-hour mark. And he will smother you and not let you leave his sight for a few days. “You made me worry!”

🇩🇪Germany 🇩🇪

The level-headed one and as a yandere, he’s super overprotective and overbearing even when it’s platonic.

It will be a thing that he has the best well-trained German Shepard guard your house 24/7. He’ll even let you pet the good doggo if you can accept your new life as their live-in friend.

I mean getting cuddles, doggos, epic food and protection isn’t a bad deal.

Both of them would prefer to not have to capture you but they do have their breaking points. France would be sooner to snap than Germany.

How you met them:

Germany and Ludwig were doing one of their bi-weekly strolls through the mall. Ludwig didn’t care much for shopping but liked to have a good excuse to hold Francis's hand. Ludwig just passively window shopped while France had a passion for finding the most fantastic ensemble.

“Jackpot! Ludwig! I’ve hit gold my favorite boutique is having a sale along with releasing a new collection today.” Francis tripped over himself typing to dash towards the boutique's entrance. Fortunately, Ludwig was there to halt his dissent towards the marble floor. He had him by the waist and hoisted him up. He drew Francis in close and hugged him so tightly that he could feel Ludwigs expand.

“Don’t injure yourself Liebling.”

“Hon hon hon Allemangne~ later will be fun of course because I have a boudoir set I want to give you tonight.” He rubbed his nose to his in a cute way that made the German’s heart flutter. Francis giggled at Ludwig he enjoyed seeing him red and flustered.

“Ahahahaha zhat is nice Francis but please can you not say it so loudly. Or not in public?”

Francis takes the initiative and seals his lips with a kiss. He pulls back after a few moments and pauses to drink in the water from Germany’s crystal blue eyes.

“Well, I’ll see you in an hour frenchie. I need some more strong coffee.” I’m heading to that cafe over there and wait for you.” He gives Francis a kiss on his cheek before he headed off.

In just a few moments Francis would join Ludwig at the cafe. All was fine until an irate middle-aged man decided that today was the day that the cashier in the coffee shop had some hell to pay. Y/N a twenty-something just trying to survive on a paycheck that doesn’t make up for the hell she puts up with. Rude people who honestly wanted a freebie were the worst type because the audacity of some of these motherfuckers was real. Oh, how you held your tongue. A saintly job that required all of your sanity.

“YOU ARE A BITCH YOUR STEALING FROM ME!” (I may or may not be venting here.) The man shouts enraged over the fact that he spent his entire gift card at a previous store. And he wanted a refund because he didn’t like his ‘service’. You were edging on trying not to cry it had already been a long shift and you had two more hours to survive still. Your anxiety spiked and your body had chosen the freeze mode. Since the man wasn’t willing to listen to reason he can listen to silence. Of course, Gentleman Germany won’t allow this to continue.

Germany slammed his muscular hand down on the table with such force that left a dent in the wooden counter.

“Listen Schlampe If you don’t vant your tongue ripped from your skull I suggest you leave the lady alone. She doesn’t need anozhar asshole like you.” The man was stunned for a few moments.

“Whatever GI JOE!” He shouted back he put his old nasty Roten finger in his face. Ludwig takes not shit especially not people who show nothing but disrespect. He twisted his hand downwards. The man lets out a short but sharp yelp that scraped against the eardrums.

‘This guy really is an idiot.’

“Are you alright Fraulien?” He wanted to try to reassure the …really lovely barista. ‘Mein gott in himmel.’

“Yeah, just having a difficult shift haha. He’s the third freak-out that I’ve had today. And honestly don’t want to be here right now.” You were glad that someone stepped up but miserable because this was your daily life that had you stuck on an endless loop. You were drowning in it.

The man who recovered from the initial beat down still hadn’t had enough. He lunges for Germany because his overblown pride wouldn’t accept any other option. Ludwig uses his momentum against the medium-sized bulldozer. He slammed him to the ground and the man fell with a heavy thud to the wood-panneled floor. The man grunted in pain as Ludwig put his foot on his pudgy stomach.

“Listen here Schlampe . Now is a good time for you to leave. Unless you want to be 6ft and below.” The evil and cold look bit down on the mans pride and ego like the first bite of fresh wurst.

With a shaky voice, the man squeeked out a ‘yes’ and proceeded to limp away.

“Thank you. You can have this.” You handed him a free drink card you could hand to customers on occasions that they didn’t like their drink or it was made incorrectly.

“Thanks. So y/n how often are you here?”

German will inquire about your life and manage to get your number because in his heart he knows that he wants to protect you with his life. You were a klines Blumen who needed a strong force to keep people who want to crush you away.

“Mon Dieu She’s adorable ! Ludwig who is this!? Nice to meet you y/n I’m Francis. Enchante. Chere.” He kisses your hand like a prince.

This is going to be the day that they adopt you.

Turns out the old man that Germany managed to get out of your store was a part of the mafia and that means you’ll be harassed a lot so much so it’s not in your benefit to continue your employment. Of course, Francis and Ludwig are eager to get you under their care where you’ll be safe and won’t have to worry.

They will encourage you to pursue what you actually want to do in life: a designer, streamer, singer, engineer etc. They want to see you be had and have a fulfilled life.

Living with them is interesting you get to hear them have lovers quarrels all the time. And your vocabulary now knows French and German swear words.

“Verdammt Frenchie ! Ausgereizte Kredikarte. WAS ZUR Hölle !?!“

*continues arguing*

When these two make up they will vanish from the house for the night for passionate sex in a secluded area and they’re kinda loud. They’re both into the idea of the danger of being caught.

Life with your two protectors is interesting because they’re extreme opposites. But it tastes well together like strawberries and chocolates.

They’re most likely to be the most stable platonic that wants to take care of you. It would be a perfect balance of regulations (Germany) and some freedom (France)

Not that I know of. I know one of my names was taken from a baby name book, but I can't remember if it's my first or middle name.

A couple of weeks ago.

Nope, not yet.

Me? Sarcastic? Never... (okay, a lot)

I have blue eyes, but a few people in the past have told me in a certain light they look green.

I don't really watch scary movies, not a massive fan of them (even though I do like certain horror games). In this case, I'd say happy endings over scary movies.

Any special talents?

I don't know if it counts as a special talent, but I'm good at finding things and organising stuff.

What are your hobbies?

Reading, cross stitch, writing. Does Tumblr count? 🤣

Have any pets?

I have a parrot that my family have had since I was about 6 years old. We also used to have three doggos (Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, they were the sweetest most placid dogs ever).

Does dancing count? I used to do Ballroom and Latin, and I can still remember the techniques and the moves.

Favourite subject at school?

English. Loved it so much I took my degree in it (finished my last year in May and am currently waiting for my final results).

Fun fact: I started writing after doing creative writing in English class when I was 7 years old, and absolutely adored it. If it hadn't been for that class and my supportive teacher, I don't know if I would have become a writer.

Dream job?

Either narrative design or writing scripts for animated shows.

I had a lot of fun designing the feral forms for Ace and Aerrow, decided to try my hand at what Lightning Strike might look like too. This is also a good opportunity to explain some lore for my vampires. 

Vampires are a species with sexual dimorphism, meaning, males exhibit different physical traits than females. Males are born with what’s called a “Soul Mark”, said marking appears at birth and goes down to the skin. It shows that vampire’s true self, their core personality. 

Marks can take many forms, but often take on a tribal look, taking up the whole back, even in human form. 

Wild vampires consider “strong” markings as incredibly special, often taking them into account when naming their children, believing that the gods have something special in store for them. 

Lightning’s mark, a lion, symbolizes his courage, loyalty, and heart. 

Ace’s mark, a dragon, symbolizes his strength, intelligence and ferocity. 

Which leads me into the next bit, females are born without one so they gain the mark of their mate when they become official. In the case of two males getting together, their marks merge to form a new one. Once Ace became mates with Vireo, his mark changed to accommodate both their marks, the arrows on the dragon symbolize Vireo’s ambition, quick wit and power. 

I guess I’m making this a bit of a series lol, I’ll explain Aerrow and Kato’s mark next. Thanks for reading!

Hey!! I have a question about your doggos— specifically the post about the seeing dog holding the toy still so the blind one can’t find it. Is your blind dog a white german shepherd? And do you know what caused her blindness/if it’s known to happen in the breed?

Please don’t answer if it is painful but I have a beautiful 5y/o white shepherd and I’ve heard they can get bad brain tumors but havent seen anything about blindness and would like to hear your experiences with your dog.

Thanks so much for asking, I'm always happy to talk about my dog son. His story is pretty unfortunate (or fortunate, since he ended up safe with us) and I feel really lucky to have him. His existence is 100% a cautionary tale, though. (cw animal death)

He was found abandoned with the rest of his litter, who are all blind. (Link to the news story about him) Somebody was trying to breed designer dogs, irresponsibly, and ended up inbreeding too much to the point of serious genetic defects.

We ended up having him genetically tested to find out more.

He's surprisingly more Malamute than Shepherd, but it became obvious from the family tree that he was the product of siblings being bred :/ The dog website even had a "fun fact! your dog is as inbred as the Targaryens!"

I'm aware that 2 of his siblings began having epileptic seizures sometime in their second year of life (I have not been able to find the owners of the others). Unfortunately, both had to be euthanized because of it. We have Loki on a very specific diet to minimize allergens and have been monitoring his health. He is over 4 years old now and still going strong.

He's really important to me. He is incorrigible and follows me around all day to awoo miserably because he wants more treats. He is gentle and kind and loves toys that crinkle and make funny noises. Here's a picture of him and his bff after forcing open the bathroom door to stare hauntingly at me while I pee.
