I only found your comic in July and I didn’t become an active tumblr user/follower till September, but I’m so glad I got to watch this project come to a close. The ROTTMNT fandom wouldn’t be the same without you and your comic. You’ve inspired so many people, including me, and I just want to say thank you, Cass. In honor of C.A.S I wanted to color and animate the final panel of the comic. Im still learning color theory and digital art but you’ve inspired me to improve, and what better way to start than with the end? Zombie apocalypse au except it's in the traditional mw2/3 universe and Ghost is one of those doomsday preparation fuckers and is concerningly prepared for it all.

He drags Soap to his bunker with all his supplies and Soap is FIGHTING DEMONS to not make fun of him for being prepared because he knows for a fact Ghost is saving his ASS right now and he's grateful that he even thought of Soap as worth saving.

Ghost then points out and entire section of his bunker and says "that stuffs for you" while he grabs his own items from the other side of the bunker, and that's when Soap realizes that everything in the area that Ghost pointed out are his favorite weapons. From explosives to his preferred model of gun, it's all things that Soap had preferred to work with. Then it finally sinks in for Soap.

Oh. Ghost had been planning to bring Soap with him. He prepared to have Soap with him.

And if that doesn't make Soap's stomach flip, to know that Ghost explicitly planned to help Soap survive should the world ever turn to hell like it has. He can't help but feel like they really do have a chance of surviving it all.

Out of curiosity, do you think your Gemini fan kids could exist in the shows canon universe? Marsh and Lake are seriously so adorable I’ve low key accepted as Donnie’s kids in the shows future canon. Also how does the krang apocalypse play out in the Gemini AU? Is it prevented or is there maybe Gemini bad timeline?

Gosh, I dunno-- I guess I don't see why not! :3c I hadn't ever thought about it too much, but there really isn't a ton of reason that they couldn't, assuming Donnie and Sorrel still meet!

Also, there are Kraang in the Gemiverse! I haven't exactly sorted out all the details yet, but what I do know is that there's no good future/bad future... there's just one timeline! The Kraang do invade and Gems and Co. do kick it in the Apocalyptic Warzone for a while... but the whole fam survives and they do eventually win the war!!! (because anything else made me too sad ; w ; and I realized at some point that it's my au so i can just do whatever I want :D yay)

I dont understand much of the au concept tjo so mind enlightening me? ^^ i wanna see more of it akskaosn

The basic concept is that the world is in disarray and has fallen into an apocalypse due to the effects of blot on mages/magical creatures producing more Overblots than ever before, which has forced those living in this new world to adapt and evolve in order to survive. This means building strong, sturdy compounds and using any means necessary to stay afloat (moral compasses are very skewed and corrupt in this au). Additionally, since women are now seen as a precious resource, they are kept within the compounds for the sake of reproduction. There are seven major compounds: Heartslabyul, Savanaclaw, Octavinelle, Scarabia, Pomefiore, Ignihyde, and Diasomnia, all with their own sets of regulations, traditions, and ways of living. Noble Bell is technically a compound of its own, with Rollo as the leader, and RSA also counts as a compound. But we haven't touched much on both yet!

zombie apocalypse au where rich finds jake pretty much on the verge of death with two broken legs and panics only for jake to smile at him and quietly say "You've got a real machete this time, huh?"

Me: I don't know what to do with Veronica's character in post s8 au, I don't want her to be Just Lance's sister and Kuron's friend with Pidge's storyline slapped on her, but also I'm not really sure about her character. Sure there's the whole lying to her family thing but I don't think that's enough?

Brain: ok so what if Veronica started out as trying to look for what was Lance upto but she ends up being so obsessed with finding the truth that not only she repeatedly puts herself in harms way but also the original goal falls on wayside.

This could be her way of dealing with trauma which is getting engrossed in the Mission and a problem to fix while suppressing her grief and refusing to actually acknowledge her problems and her own emotions a foil to Kuron's arc that is him being literally driven by emotions. She's angry at Lance for leaving without a word and angry at her family for their clinginess, however she keeps it to herself and just avoid them pretending everything is fine and normal

Also a foil to Lance who started as trying to figure out what was going on but as soon as he realized that 1) Allura and Kuron are still sorta alive 2) he can bring them back, he got obsessed with it consequences by damned.

Plus through her we can actually explore how quintessence actually effects and changes humans rather than become aware of the end result

Also there's something a character who is obsessed with truth but is also such a frequent liar

I know only fairies have the flowery essences but after spending 18 years in the fairy realm, myrtle got some of it too, I think he smells like vanilla…

He’s a good chef and good with children. He’s good with chores in general, he’s a big bro of 6 after all

Loves all his siblings but personally I think he’s a bit closer to Sixtus and Phao. Phao because they are a menace and I’m sure it’s a pain to look after them, but that’s what makes them so close. And also because they are very young

Just as phao he loves both meat and fruits the same way, and he got his father’s liking for cheese.

I see him being a dog person, which makes me think if the Kiane kids have any mascots? Because i definetly see him with a black hound.

He (was) very close to Lancelot. He likes Tristan too but he’s no fan of Chion, and him being over Tristan all the time makes him not want to hang out that much

Him and Donny know each other and are actually small friends. Howzer sometimes babysat him when he was younger and that’s how they met

fast zombies will always be elite but like. i also wanna acknowledge certain movies that explore the notion of zombies becoming selective and developing social norms. like wwz explores the idea of an infectious virus that needs healthy hosts to survive, and so they won’t infect people who have any degree of disease that could be fatal. ravenous studies the idea of an unknown culture forming within the infected society. warm bodies has the idea of newly infected zombies becoming deranged with time, and the consumption of human victims brings forward moments of humanity within the infected, and that the newly infected even develop a sort of language as time passes, too. there’s so many movies that entertain the zombie genre but also offer insight into ways to enhance it, and that’s why i love the au sm, bc we could literally say anything about the zombies and it’ll be fine bc nobody is expected to have an indepth scientific knowledge in these things, the survivors just want to survive a little longer, there’s no real interest in studying the infection. aside from some media that does attempt to provide exposition, but we don’t NEED that. you can say there’s a fire-breathing zombie species and nobody can really say “MAKE IT MAKE SENSE???” bc guess what besties, a zombie virus itself doesn’t make much sense either. 

TL;DR: i used a very specific example to get here, but as writers, we don’t need to have explanations for everything we write. you don’t need to justify everything. we live in an era of “somehow, palpatine returned”. u can say “somehow there’s a fire-breathing zombie species in arizona”.
