The Fifth Date
Bokuto Koutarou (Timeskip!!!) x Female Reader

kinda long but it's worth it i guess
Masterlist!!!
You can’t believe this. You just can’t!
-
“Hey, are you alright?” Bokuto Koutarou looked at you with utmost sincerity in his eyes. You looked up and wondered if he really was worried or just being polite but either way, you stared right at his pupils.
“I am.” You agreed, letting go of his gaze and wanting to end the conversation.
This was your fifth date with him but there were no sparks since the first. You just didn’t feel his vibes and he could be so noisy at times which you hated. There was selfishness underneath his skin and it reeked in your nostrils. You hated egotistic people and you weren’t going to tolerate this much longer.
What your friends saw in Bokuto, you had no idea! They were all swooning over him when they set you up on a date together. They kept saying that he was perfect so you, being the hopeless romantic that you are, expected a prince who would be a gentleman, who would listen to you talk for hours on end, who would be so loving and caring… But instead, you were presented with boastfulness and chaos all wrapped up into one big muscle of a man! He did look like a prince but that was it!
“You know you can tell me right? I’ll listen.” You didn’t mistake the softness in his voice as he continued to stare at you lovingly.
You didn’t know if it was the beautiful place that he brought you to or if it was his kindness that made your brain turn into mush. But for the first time in five dates, your heart was hammering, its beats already like drums in your ears.
“I-I’m fine.” You stuttered and kept your eyes on the horizon.
You heard him sigh beside you on the railing you were both leaning on. The place you both drove to was divine as it overlooked the city. The twinkling lights below were mimicking the stars above and there were lanterns that hung overhead as well, casting the whole place in a lazy glow. You took a deep breath of the fresh air as you calmed yourself from the most stressful day of your life and from your whirlwind of a date.
A little rustling was heard and before you knew it, you were enveloped in warmth and his scent. Bokuto wrapped his jacket around you, letting you face him, so that he could pull the zipper up to your chest.
“There, so you won’t have to worry.” He smiled sweetly.
So he did notice the large coffee stain on your shirt and not once did he show that he was irked by it. You tried your best to cover it but of course you can't. Everyone at work gave you the side glance or the 'what-the-fuck-happened-to-you' look but he didn’t!
-
This can’t be happening. Were you reminiscing all those moments with Koutarou? AND NOW YOU’RE CALLING HIM KOUTAROU?!
You rolled around on your bed, a pillow tucked underneath your arms. A muffled scream was released as you felt an intense tingling sensation all over your body. You were supposed to end that fifth date! You were supposed to tell him that you both should see other people!
But the way he acted that night… it was as if he’s… perfect.
-
“Don’t hide from me.” He whispered in your ear as you cried in his arms. As his scent and warmth put your senses to overdrive with the jacket, you couldn’t help but sob. It was like the world was against you today. Even the document from work that you were so ready to pass, crashed on you. Even the coffee that you made this morning with care, splashed your white collared shirt. Even your ID lace that seemed so insignificant, decided to get caught on the doorknob and almost snapped your neck in two! And to spice things up, your evil boss humiliated you in the inter-department presentation even when the CEO of the company congratulated you on a job well done!
It was the little depressing and annoying moments that accumulated in your chest.
“Today has been s-so hard.” You cried in his shirt. “I keep on trying my best but it’s like I’m not doing enough. I'm not enough.”
The gentle rocking of your body stopped as he heard the words fall out of your mouth.
“Hey, don’t say that.” He cooed and trying to hold you at arm’s length. “You’re more than enough.”
You shook your head and tried to avoid his eyes again as he searched for yours. Fingers gripped on your chin to steady you and you melt for the nth time tonight.
“Don’t be too harsh on yourself. Alright? This day may have been difficult for you and maybe there are more days that would be the same but you shouldn’t doubt your efforts. The fact that you made it through, that’s already something to be grateful about.” He said while wiping your tears away. “But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t cry about them once in a while. Let yourself feel but then get back up again, yeah?”
You nodded but you felt another round of sobs escape your mouth. He pouted as he saw your wounded state and again, you were held close to his broad chest, away from the hurt, the pain, the stress…
-
This was dangerous. Are you actually falling for him? You’re actually falling for the loud guy that you swore you hated?!
‘Hey, hey, hey!’
His voice reverberated inside your skull and with that sound came the print of his smile on your brain. He had the nicest set of teeth and the nicest golden eyes you’ve ever seen. His skin was flawless too and under any light, you swore he was shining.
You couldn’t help but grin at the—
Yes…
This is bad. Really bad.
-
“You wanna dance?” He offered his hand out to you, smiling shyly. You were surprised at his somehow timid expression as you were so used to him being his confident self.
“I don’t know how.” You said breathlessly as you stared at his gorgeous face.
He let out a chuckle and reached out for your hand under the table. “Let’s figure it out, c’mon.”
The platform was small and there were four couples slowly dancing to the romantic song that was being played by a live band.
He led your hands to encircle his neck while his rested on your waist. All the motions, even the slightest graze of his skin on yours, were making your mind hazy. Everything seemed to blur and the only thing that made sense were the two of you in each other’s embrace.
“You’re so tall.” You whispered mindlessly which made him chuckle. He noticed that you could barely wrap your arms around his neck and that your arms were getting floppy due to fatigue. He then guided you to hug him around his waist instead so he could pull you closer.
“I’ve never danced like this before.” He confessed, swaying stiffly at the music.
“I can tell.” You giggle and look up at him in time to see him pout.
He poked your side, deliberately tickling you for a while. “That’s mean.”
“But it’s my first time too. And I kinda like it.” You said shyly, feeling your cheeks warm even with the cold night air.
“You think you could get used to it?” He asked, hope laced in his question.
“Of course.” You smiled up at him.
He smiled back and his eyes twinkled as he stared. He scooped your right hand and brought it to his lips for a quiet kiss then slowly intertwined your fingers with his, all while maintaining eye contact.
-
“AHHHHHHHHH!” You screamed into your pillow again as your head played that scene.
Sleep was so far away now that your adrenaline was so high because of him! You swore you could still feel his lips on your skin. It was as if he imprinted it there and nothing on earth can take that away now.
“Bokuto, stop haunting me! Let me sleep!”
-
“Now, listen here, missy.” The owner of the restaurant pointed to you sternly as she stood behind the counter. “Tell this boyfriend of yours to stop going here and actually get some much deserved rest! Athletes shouldn’t be tiring themselves!”
You chuckled at her actions and stole a glance at Bokuto who’s pouting excessively at the older woman with his hair seemingly deflating at her ministrations.
“But I like your food!” He whined.
The woman clicked her tongue, as if annoyed. “You can have better food from where you live. Now, stop pestering me!”
“I will come back here more often if you say that!” He smirked and leaned on the counter.
“As if! I know you’ll come back no matter what happens.” She rolls her eyes then turned to you. “We can’t get rid of him even if we wanted to!”
They kept bickering back and forth as you waited for the fruit shakes and other snacks that Bokuto ordered for takeout. It was a long drive back home and he said didn’t want you to get thirsty or hungry. You just listened to their banters and even though they were dissing each other out, you can’t miss the loving and motherly look the owner had for Bokuto.
“You’re a regular here?” You asked him as you settled on the carseat.
“I’m a fan of the view. And as you saw, I’m quite close with the owners and the workers. This is my safe space.” He replied and started the engine.
“When was the last time you went here?” You inquired, suddenly curious of his whereabouts.
“Yesterday.” He shrugged. “And the day before that. And maybe the whole of last week.”
Your eyes widened at his answer. “This is like two or three hours away! How?!”
“I needed some place to relax. And think.” He smiled sadly as maneuvered the car to begin the journey back home.
“Are you alright?” You blinked at your question. His voice seemed low and so sad in contrast to his usual loud and noisy screeches that you were so damn used to. This Bokuto in front of you was so hard to read!
He turned to you for a split second before averting his eyes on the road. “I am. I guess.”
“Don’t hide from me.” You bit your lip hard as you repeated his words to you. You wanted to know him more, to understand his feelings, and to make him feel better.
“Hey, you can’t use my lines against me.” He laughed lightly as he looked at you. Your eyes were begging him to tell you how he is and who was he to resist? “I’m just nervous about the incoming games, that’s all.”
“You still get nervous?” You turned to him, a little surprised.
“Why are you so shocked? Of course, I do! Some less nerve- wrecking than the others but I do always get tension at every game.” He sighed and ran a hand through his hair while thinking. “But the upcoming match is a qualifying game for the Olympics so everyone is anxious.”
“Who are you against with?” You asked.
“See, now that’s another one of my worries. The competitors have still not been announced so we have to wait for a month. A whole month! What am I supposed to do?!” He said exasperatedly. “And just last week, one of our teammates got injured so they gave us time off. You know, to rest and shit. But I am restless and—"
“So that’s why you come all the way here?” You concluded.
“Yeah.” He breathed. “The drive gets my mind off of the anxiety and their food just makes me feel like I’m home.”
‘So he is human after all.’ You said to yourself. It was the simplest realization but it did so many wonders for your feelings and understanding towards him.
The drive home was filled with stories of sadness and laughter. You both sipped at your drinks and munched at the chips he bought. And as you both neared your home, it dawned on you that this was the best date you’ve ever had in your life! Bokuto’s so laid back and chill, kind and generous. He listened so intently and patiently to all your life stories and he had a good memory too, remembering the things you’ve told him about yourself in the past dates.
-
You sighed while sitting up. There’s no question that you were falling in deep for this guy. During the drive, he became his noisy self, acting all the spikes he did at the games comically but instead of being annoyed, you had tears in your eyes because you had laughed so much at his acting. You loved listening to him talk and you realized he wasn’t selfish at all!
Go figure.
Maybe you just mistook his confidence for selfishness and egocentricity.
-
You can’t believe that you were itching to lengthen the time you had with him. The car was now parked in front of where you lived and it was time to say goodbye.
Your eyes met and there was a tinge of sadness in his eyes which surprised you.
“Look.” He turned to the passenger seat and leaned closer. “I know that I’m not the best date there is and you may have been agreeing to these just because of obligation from your friends but… I’d like you to know that I—“
Closing his eyes, he exhaled. “I really like you.”
As the words were uttered, your body visibly tenses under his gaze.
Panic rises in his gut as he realized what he did. “S-sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.”
“N-no!” You tried to swallow. “You didn’t scare me.”
“Then why do you look like you’ve seen ghost?” He chuckled lightly not giving up his stares.
Your shoulders slumped as you sighed. “I’m just surprised, that’s all.”
He nodded, still looking. “I guess this will be our last, huh?”
“What?”
“I know you don’t like me and you hate my company. I just really like you so I tried to drag it out for so long.” He said sheepishly as he deflated back into his seat. “I don’t want to make you uncomfortable and I’m so sorry if I did.”
This was not how you imagined ending your date. You were supposed to be the one saying that this will be the last. You were supposed to be excited about not seeing him again. You were supposed to go now! But the universe really did pull a reverse card on you today.
“Bokuto…” You started, feeling the guilt consume you to the bones. “I’m sorry if I made you feel that I didn’t like you.”
He was fiddling with his fingers now.
“It's just that your first impressions lasted so bad that it blinded me to who you really were.” Be honest. Just be fuckin’ honest! “I did think I didn’t like you but after tonight, you proved me wrong.”
His face looked at you in a flash, eyes finding the meaning behind your words.
“I didn’t know you could be like this!” You gestured to him, a little frustrated because your heart was pounding so bad and it became so difficult to breathe.
“Like what?” A smirk was beginning to form at his lips.
“This!” You laughed. “You’re fun to be with. You’re calm and reliable when needed. And just… yeah.” You’re just perfect.
You stared at each other’s eyes for a while longer, trying to read and drown in each other.
“If you don’t mind, I’d like to give it another try?” You asked, hoping to god he’ll say yes to your request.
His eyes widened for a moment and his gray hair perked up a little bit.
“I told you I like you.” He smiled. “Why would I say no to that?”
-
Your phone beeped beside you. And if you weren’t so red enough from the memory, you knew that you were flaming red now.
It was a text from Bokuto.
Can’t sleep :(
You sighed at what he said. His anxiety about the game catches onto him so much that he often gets insomnia. The poor baby. You were about to reply when another text popped out.
I may or may not be outside your home.
“What?!” You panicked while swiftly looking for a hoodie to put on. Why is he here and why were you feeling excited at the thought of seeing him?
You asleep, little owl?
You bolted towards the doors and true enough, he was there, leaning on his car and dazzling in all his six feet and three inches glory. He looked unreal in this light even in his simple hoodie and joggers.
“I’m sorry, did I wake you?” His husky voice greeted you as you walked closer.
“No. Can’t sleep too.” You smiled. “What brings you here?”
He shrugged. He didn’t know what came over him when he closed your distance and hugged you tight. To him, you looked like an angel sent to earth only for his eyes to see! You were in an oversized hoodie, hair a little tousled, and your face was so calm under the moonlight. Something inside him prickled at the thought of being domestic with you.
Slowly your arms wrapped around his waist and you surrendered your weight to him. In that moment, he felt like he would burst! Never did he expect for this to happen, for you to give him a chance, but here you were. He deeply breathed in your scent and planted a kiss on the top of your head.
“Do you want to hang out tomorrow?” Your voice was a mere whisper when you looked up at him.
“Like a date?” He grinned and wiggled his eyebrows playfully.
“Yeah?” You nodded.
He wondered if you had any idea about how you're making him feel crazier by the minute. If you don’t, then that’s much worse. “What am I gonna do with you?” He chuckled, arranging stray locks of your hair.
“You can go on a date with me.” You laughed and he was sure, so sure, that you felt his heart do a cartwheel when you were resting your head on his chest.
“I’d like that.” He replied hugging you tighter.
It was funny to you that you planned that fifth date to be the last. It turned out to be the first. The first real date where you felt like a princess in a fairytale. It was the first out of a never- ending series of romantic dates because Bokuto Koutarou had no plans of letting you go. Ever.

Fairy Godfather, part 1
Tumblr media
Summary: The fairies have asked a monumental favor of Killian: be the surrogate for their babies—all nine of them. He's been pregnant before, but this? This is a whole other level. What has he gotten himself into? And just how big will he get?
A/N: As usual, the muse has gone off and done whatever it wants to do, rather than, y'know, work on a WIP. Alas. The idea for this came about when I sent @sancocnutclub this picture of a woman who was supposedly pregnant with 10 babies; it has since come out as a hoax, but dang—her BUMP. Subsequent doodling and headcanoning brought about this story (also partly inspired by a conversation with SherlockianWhovian a while back), and here we are! I should note that this also takes place after a couple of past one-shots, which can be found here and here. Hope you like it!

Of all the requests put in front of Killian in his long life, this was by far the oddest.
“You want me...to carry babies...for how many of you?” he asked, trying to wrap his head around the query.
“Nine,” Blue answered matter-of-factly. “Normally, it wouldn’t be so many, but we’re past due for a brood. There was just no one around who we thought could handle it.”
“And he can?” Emma was at his side in the booth at Granny’s, where Blue and Tink had requested to meet with them. Their daughter, Hope, was sitting in the high chair at the end of the table, making a mess of some oatmeal.
“It helps if they’ve given birth before,” Tink replied. Well, he had done that—not intentionally, but he had been the one to carry and birth Hope, who was 10 months old now.
And while it had ended up being a beautiful experience, he obviously had reservations. “Yes, but that was only one baby—and you genuinely think I can handle nine?”
“We do,” Blue confirmed. “And we’d obviously provide as much help as we can.”
“It also wouldn’t be like a normal human pregnancy,” Tink added. “No morning sickness or cravings, or anything like that.”
“No, I’d just be massive,” he sighed; memories of his own perceived whale-like proportions toward the end of his pregnancy with Hope were still fresh; this had potential to put that to shame.
“Well, fairy newborns are smaller than the average human infant—less than 4 pounds. But yes, you would go full term.” Blue was awfully clinical in her statements.
Killian glanced down at his midsection, which had yet to fully regain its previous flatness, and he doubted it ever would. Especially not if he agreed to this. “I’m really your only option?” he asked again. “What about David?”
“It’s too soon,” Blue answered. David gave birth a couple months prior to their daughter Ruth, and as promised, Killian was at his side. However, he’d had to have a C-section, which slowed his recovery a bit compared to Killian’s. “And it must be done at the upcoming winter solstice, or we’ll have to wait another few years.”
Killian was about to suggest that until Tink jumped in. “Plus, you kind of still owe us for the whole hat thing.”
“That was the Dark One and you know it,” Emma snapped back, but they both knew Killian still harbored a fair amount of guilt over that. It was a low blow on their part, but not undeserved.
She most likely saw the acceptance in his eyes when they exchanged a glance, but he also saw she wasn’t quite there. “Does it really have to be a guy?” she enquired, turning back to the fairies. “I mean, there are lots of women here who meet your criteria, too.”
“It does,” they said simultaneously, though Tink at least looked somewhat apologetic.
Emma was ready to protest again, but he put his hand over hers on the table and told her with a look that it was okay. She reclined in her seat while he turned back to the pair. “I’ll agree, but with one condition: you’ll have to help pick up my slack—around town and at home,” he said evenly. He was sure he’d get to a point when it wasn’t feasible for him to continue as deputy, or at the library, or even keep up with Hope, who was dangerously close to walking.
“Actually, one more,” Emma added. “He’s not on the hook for any, like, actual fatherhood, right? You won’t be coming after him for child support or anything?”
“No, he's simply the surrogate,” Blue confirmed.
“And we’ll definitely help out—whatever you need,” Tink added.
Emma gave him a tentative but supportive look. “Then I’ll do it,” he told them.
“Excellent,” Blue stated with less enthusiasm than he expected. “We’ll send you more information soon, but the most important thing is to be at the convent next Saturday. Green,” she then turned to Tink, “come; we have much to do to prepare.” (Which was a polite way of asking her to slide out of the booth first.)
Tink rolled her eyes and stood up. “I’ll text you,” she said, and the two flitted out of the diner.
Killian and Emma were silent for a long moment after they left, other than making sure some oatmeal actually ended up in Hope’s mouth.
Emma started to clean up the baby and then said, “I know it’s too late now, but are you sure about this?”
“Not entirely,” he confessed, “but they were right—I do owe them.”
“You don’t,” Emma said matter-of-factly, “even though I know you think you do.” She wiped the mess off Hope’s face. “But if this will finally relieve some of that guilt, then I get it, and I’ll support you.”
“Thank you, love,” he sighed, and pressed a kiss to her temple. “I’m going to need it, I think.”
“Oh, you are,” she said wryly. “And you should probably start planning how you’ll tell my dad.”
“Bloody hell,” he cursed, then dragged a hand down his face. “He’s going to be relentless.” What had been playful ribbing during their respective pregnancies was likely about to be amplified.
“Maybe you can talk to Belle? See if she knows anything on what to expect? Pun not intended.”
“Yeah, that’s a good idea,” he agreed, then followed Emma as she slipped out of the booth. He pulled Hope from the high chair and settled her in his left arm, then grabbed her diaper bag and slung it over his shoulder. “Guess we’ll pick her brain now. See you later.” They kissed farewell and headed off to their respective jobs that day—Emma at the station, Killian at the library, where he’d taken something of an assistant librarian position (and could keep an eye on Hope and her “cousin” Gideon in between reshelving and assisting patrons).
Belle was surprised when he told him about the morning’s turn of events, but then got an almost academic excitement. “I can’t say I know much about their physiology, and I didn’t know this about their reproduction, but let’s see if we have anything.”
She dove into research while he took care of normal library functions, but by midday, didn’t have much to show for it.
“They’re so secretive! Obviously their existence is documented, and there’s mention of someone other than Blue being in charge at some point in the past, and that their young mature faster than average, but that’s it. What did they tell you?”
“Not much,” he answered, relaying what little he’d been told. “But they did call it a ‘brood’, so it sounds like multiples are common. Just not quite so many.”
“Do you think they’d let me take notes?” she wondered. “It’s not like there's any research journals on magical beings I could submit a paper to, but more for my own study.”
“If they don’t let you, I won’t do it,” he commented. “Do you still have everything from last time?” She’d done quite a bit of documentation on his first pregnancy, considering it was the product of a misunderstood spell.
“Of course; David’s, too.” Then she laughed. “Of all the things I imagined becoming an expert in, magical male pregnancy was not one of them.”
“Someone had to,” he countered.
“That’s true!”
---------------------------------------------------------
The rest of the week was fairly uneventful, save for a text from Tink telling them when to arrive at the convent, and to make sure he ate lots of greens and wore something comfortable (which he took to mean stretchy). And they assented to Belle’s presence, too, which didn’t change anything but did make him feel more at ease.
David was something between amused and horrified about what Killian had agreed to, but ultimately glad they hadn’t asked him.
The afternoon of the solstice, before they headed to the convent, Belle took some notes and measurements of Killian as a baseline for her study—and honestly, he was kind of glad, if the proportions on this were going to be as overlarge as he expected. “How big do they make those maternity pants?” he asked Emma as Belle was making note of his waist size (not significantly larger than it used to be, he was at least proud to say).
Emma’s eyes grew large. “I don’t know; I think the fairies are gonna have to help with that one.”
“Let’s hope that’s a ways off, then,” he settled.
They dropped Hope off at Snow and David’s on their way to the convent, where they were greeted by Blue herself. She ushered them in without a word, and a couple other fairies were there to gather their belongings, before Blue guided them further into the building. Killian was both surprised and not to see that they were all in their traditional attire, though he was a bit shocked that they were all still large and not the miniscule size they were known for. Belle had had a similar question a few days ago; they’d ask at some point.
They were led into a large, candlelit room, where Tink suddenly appeared in front of him. “Drink this,” she commanded, holding a mug of steaming liquid, “and take off your shirt.”
“Is that necessary?” he asked as he took the mug.
“I mean, I already know what’s under there, so I wouldn’t be asking if it wasn’t,” she countered with a wink.
He complied with a sigh. The drink was a potion of some sort, he gathered almost immediately; a warm, tingly feeling took over his body as he drank it, eventually settling in his stomach, which made sense. Weirdly, though, when he removed his tshirt, there was a slight glow under the skin of his abdomen. (Belle was off to the side, furiously taking notes; Emma was next to her, trying to keep a straight face and surreptitiously taking pictures.)
Blue was watching a clock, and when it struck a seemingly random time—the peak of the solstice—she began chanting in a tongue he didn’t quite recognize, with others gradually joining in and forming a circle around him. The glow under his skin got brighter, especially in his midsection, although he didn’t feel any different—yet.
“Human,” Blue finally addressed him. “You have agreed to be the vessel for our young. Do you promise to protect them with your life, and care for them until they are ready to join our world?”
“I...yes,” he answered, as confidently as he could manage. “I will.”
Blue continued briefly in the foreign tongue, as did the others. “Now, let the gravidation commence.”
One of the fairies approached him with her hands cupped as the rest continued to chant; she was dressed all in pink, and he thought he’d seen her spending time with Grumpy on occasion. As she got closer, he saw a small ball of pink light pulsing her palm that she was murmuring to, until she was close enough to touch him.
And she did, guiding the ball of light toward his navel and then—it disappeared inside him as she pressed her hands against his stomach. He felt a small twinge inside as it settled within, but no pain—just a spark. The glow from his midsection briefly took on a pinkish hue, but then returned to the white color it had been emanating.
Each of the nine fairies did the same thing, one by one. He did wonder how it was decided who would be reproducing, given that there were far more than nine fairies present, but that was another question for a later date. They appeared before him in all colors of the spectrum—purple, seafoam, navy, yellow, fuschia—and then Tiger Lily’s deep orange joined the array of hues, followed by Tink’s bright green.
Blue was the last to approach, and her orb seemed to be the biggest of them all, which he supposed was no surprise. However, her hands lingered on his abdomen and she continued to chant, the intensity and volume increasing as everyone’s voices joined in.
He suddenly felt a slight cramp within—still nothing painful, but like his insides were being gently rearranged, which they probably were. Then his stomach glowed brighter, casting all the colors of the fairies whose offspring he was now carrying around the room.
“Gods above, watch over this man; let he be exalted among the fairies, and let no harm befall him nor our bairns,” Blue called out with a sense of finality.
The glow grew brighter, until it was too bright for him to look at, but then was gone in a flash. The fairies gave a collective hum that seemed to resolve the ceremony, and then began to file out of the room, although Tink approached and wrapped him in a soft robe.
He felt...he wasn’t sure. Content, at the very least, but also like he might float away were it not for the sensation of a weight within him holding him down. His hand drifted to his midsection, and if he wasn’t mistaken, it was ever so slightly rounder than it was before he arrived; with nine babies in there, he supposed that made sense. He couldn’t feel any sensations of kicking yet, but it was probably too early—and honestly, he still kind of tingled all over. The analytical side of him wondered where they would be considered in their development relative to a human fetus—and if they’d even show up on an ultrasound.
“How are you doing, Captain?” Blue was still in front of him, but in the afterglow (literally) of the spell, he’d lost sense of anything else around him.
“I’m good,” he answered. “Possibly too good.”
Blue gave a small, knowing smile. “That tends to happen. Come, let’s sit; you must have more questions.” She gestured toward the door the fairies had exited out of and then moved toward it herself, expecting him to follow.
Emma was suddenly at his side, and Belle not far behind. “You okay?” she asked, brow furrowed in concern.
“I seem to be,” he replied. “Have I ever told you how bloody beautiful you are?”
She grinned, amused. “Many times. What was in that cup?”
“Potion of some sort,” he shrugged as she started pushing him in the direction of the door. “Why?”
“Seemed like some really potent potables,” she quipped. Yeah, he did feel a little drunk.
He somehow ended up on a very plush couch, with Emma on one side and Belle on the other, sitting across from Blue, Tink, and Tiger Lily. Someone gave him a glass of water, and there was food on a coffee table, but he wasn’t much hungry.
Honestly, he was mostly fascinated with the stained glass windows in the room, and with inspecting whatever was going on in his stomach, until he did hear Belle ask a pertinent question:
“So why men?”
“Well, we’re all women,” Blue answered. “It does take two.”
“But I thought you said he was just a surrogate,” Emma countered. “Are these actually his babies? Because we didn’t agree to that.”
“No, they’re not; I suppose in modern terms, you’d say that we reproduce asexually. But nature still seems to demand the involvement of a man and a woman. So that’s why a willing male carries the brood.”
“Are there always so many?” Belle asked.
“No; usually only 4 or 5. But no one was available at the last solstice.”
Killian didn’t really pay attention to the next several questions regarding fairy reproduction—he’d read Belle’s notes later when he was a bit more focused—but he did eventually get to interject one of his own: “Why are you big right now, though? And why aren’t the babies going to be tiny?”
The fairies chuckled—he supposed his statement wasn’t as coherent as it sounded in his head—but still replied. “Shrinking is an acquired skill,” Tink said. “That’s why we weren’t small when we didn’t have our powers,” she explained, nodding at Tiger Lily.
“But once we learn, it’s our preferred size,” Blue added. “It’s easier to do our job then.”
That made sense.
“So, what else can he expect,” Emma asked. “I know you said it’d be different, but how much?”
“Well, the size, obviously—and you will still gain weight to support that,” Blue explained. “Increased appetite is to be expected, but no cravings or anything like that.”
“Your hormones will be altered, similar to a normal pregnancy,” Tiger Lily added. “But that just helps the body prepare for birth.”
“Bloody hell, what will that be like?” he wondered aloud.
“Nowhere near as difficult,” Blue laughed.
“Wait—if my hormones are affected…” He trailed off, remembering how much those threw him for a loop last time—particularly, certain desires. “I can still have sex, right?”
Emma covered her face with her hands at his blunt question, but it was important.
“Of course,” Blue said plainly. “Do whatever you need to—within reason, of course.”
“Although, don’t forget—you’ll be at least twice as big as last time,” Tink reminded. “At least. That might make it harder.”
More difficult, maybe, but it hadn’t altered either person’s desires the last time around. He turned to give Emma (what he thought was) a salacious look, but she just burst into giggles.
“Just—listen to your body,” Blue finally said. “For everything: rest, food, activity. The spell you drank will last the whole pregnancy and keep things going. We trust you, though.”
“I’ll guard them with my life,” he said, suddenly emotional, covering his stomach with his hand.
“Aaaand there’s the hormones,” Emma commented. “Come on; let’s get you home.”
He was suddenly very sleepy. “Aye; that’s a good idea.”
“Yes, he’s going to be tired the next couple of days,” Blue added. “But otherwise—see you in 40 weeks.”
Emma wrapped her arm around him, said goodbye, and poofed them straight back to their bedroom. He was nearly asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow, but had one last thing to ask Emma.
“You’ll still find me sexy when I’ve got a big, huge belly, right?”
She kissed his forehead. “Incredibly so. Sleep tight.”

Tumblr media
pairing: sugar daddy!steve rogers x reader characters: reader, steve rogers, cassandra jones (oc), selena (oc), bucky barnes, sam wilson word count: 3k+ warnings: angst, family issues, money problems summary: you need to just remember to breathe a/n: give me validation please and let me know what you think
prev || all || next
There’s a steady stream of customers all night, nothing like a few nights ago, but it’s definitely better than it’s been for a while. While you want to be happy for Cassandra, your mind keeps going back to your Aunt Magdalena’s threats, most recently a note slipped under your door, that you thankfully found before Esmeralda could.
It’s no wonder why your mom (and dad) kept communications with her to a minimum—which only adds to the mystery of why she went to her of all people for money.
“Excuse me,” a deep voice calls for your attention, it’s strong yet somehow nervous. When you look up to smile at him, you’re greeted by stormy, blue eyes illuminated by the lights behind you on the shelves and mirror. He’s handsome, alarmingly so with brown hair cascading down to the top of his broad shoulders—cheekbones sharp and chin dented right at the end and covered by mild scruff.
Holy fuck … what you wouldn’t give to spend a night with him. It’s been so long since...
Hey! You’re at work, and work means focusing!
You push your warring thoughts aside and manage your best customer service smile. “What can I get for you?”
“Three beers,” he says, eyes falling to the taps behind you, and with a quiet and unsure voice, he orders three Mirages.
You smile reassuringly. “Good choice.” When he eyes you curiously, you explain, “Local brew.” You turn your back to him and grab the glasses for beer as Cassandra squeezes by you to reach the register at the end of the bar to charge a group.
You fill one of the glasses and set it aside while you absentmindedly fill up another, the sound of the soothing trumpets playing through the speakers washing over the bar.
Eleven thousand dollars. How are you going to pay that much money in two months?
“You okay?” Cassandra asks, watching you carefully, eyes drifting to the glass in your hand.
You’re quick to switch to the final glass when you realize you’re about to overfill the second. With a tired smile you say, “I’m fine.”
She frowns, shaking her chocolate curls, but before she can say anything, someone saunters up to the bar and orders a drink. She gives you a look that says—I’m not done with you—and starts making the drink for the customer.
With the final glass filled, you spin on your heels to face the male that ordered the beers and are surprised to find he’s no longer alone—two men are flanking him.
They’re just as tall and wide as the brunette—a contrast of skin between them, the one on his left a beautiful shade of umber—dark and rich. Black hair short and buzzed, and a thin beard making his face seem slimmer than he appears to be, apple of his cheeks high and round when he smiles at something his companions say. Handsome in a simple white tee and black leather jacket.
The other man on his right is white, almost pink and peach with the low lighting of the bar, nothing like the tanned brunette between them. If his friends are handsome, he’s beautiful. Golden hair slicked back with a semi fade on the sides; muscles tightly wrapped and bounded by a blue Henley that you’re certain is a size too small; lashes, long and thick brush against his cheek bones; face clear of scruff and dark shadows; lips pink and pretty—something almost boyish in his smile that makes you crack a smile of your own.
Shit. You’d take any one of them home!
Three pairs of eyes land on you as you set down their beer, and you freeze, locking with blue eyes—bright and alarming, specks of hazel and greens around his iris making his eyes pop in the dark bar. Something flashes within them, and there’s something familiar about them that you can’t quite place.
What is it?
Cassandra makes a noise from beside you, like a hum and a snicker and you realize you might’ve been staring at him for far too long. Shit.
Clearing your throat, you drag your gaze to the brunette between them and smile politely. “Here are the first two, let me just get the last one.” A sleek, black card comes into view after placing down the final glass, and you take it, a little embarrassed. “Open tab or closed?”
“Keep it open,” the blonde says, a familiarity directed at you that has you raising your eyebrows, but you ignore it. “Just in case.”
“Of course.” You don’t really look at him or his friends after accepting the card, scurrying away to swipe his card to make sure it’s good, and input his first order under the last name on his card—Rogers. Storing the card for the meantime, you go back to cleaning the bar.
“You sure you’re okay?” Cassandra tries again.
“Cass,” you warn with a sigh, eyes trailing over to the men that have decided to settle on the bar-stools instead of an empty table—the three too busy engaged in their own conversation to listen in on yours.
“As your boss and friend, I have every right to worry about you,” she says, resting an elbow on the bar and leaning forward. “Your head has been up in the clouds lately. And more than usual. Did something happen to your mom? Is she okay? Is her arm not healing properly?”
“She’s as okay as a chemotherapy patient can be,” you snap harshly, rubbing at the bar fiercely. She blinks at you surprised and doesn’t retort—shame immediately creeps up on you. “I—I’m sorry. I didn’t—I didn’t mean—“
“Hey. Hey. I know,” she affirms gently. “It hasn’t been easy for you, but you know I’m here if you ever want to talk.” She makes a gesture to herself and your eyebrows knit.
The glasses clink as you put them away. “Thanks. She’s getting better,  but I’m not ready. Not yet.”
She nods solemnly. “I understand, but I’m here whenever you are. You hear?” she says, pointing a finger at you before taking the empty tray to the back.
You watch her leave with a sigh. You really shouldn’t be taking out your frustrations on others, you mentally scold yourself.
As you continue wiping down glasses, your phone vibrates in your back pocket, slipping it out discreetly, a notification of a new message appears on the lock screen.
Selena⛱☀️: Went over the docs. You free to talk?
Just those simple words are enough to steal your breath away; dread filling your bones. She didn’t add an emoji, you realize; no emoji usually meant trouble.
Your grip tightens around your phone.
Skyscraper: gimme min
Stuffing it back into your pocket, you look around the semi empty bar—the group in the back, the three men at the bar, a couple by the entrance. Biting your lip, you look back at the door Cassandra slipped through, cautiously. Your phone vibrates again, and it’s enough to push you towards it.
Twisting the knob slowly, you poke your head in and find Cassandra near the merch taking inventory, and your coworker, Matt cleaning up the small kitchen by Cassandra’s office.
Rapping on the wood, the two drag their attention to you. “Cass, do you mind if I make a quick call?”
She blinks, a worried frown stretching itself across her ebony skin and her shoulders tense. You shake your head when she raises an eyebrow.
“Personal,” you tell her. “Kind of.”
Her shoulders drop and a small smile replaces her frown. “Yeah, go ahead. I’ll man the front while you’re away.”
“Thank you.”
You slip into the small hallway connecting the bar to the two gender-neutral bathrooms for customers. You lean against the locked door leading into Cassandra’s office, never used since you started working here, and stare at the door leading out into the dirty alleyway.
The phone rings against your ear, the faint music from the bar encasing the small hallway too, it’s soothing in a strange way, with its slow beat and sensual saxophone solo.
“Hello?” Selena answers, a loose mix of a Californian and Australian accent seeping into her words. She’s only been living in California for a little over a year and she’s already picked up the accent faster than she did yours—traitor.
“How’s the Californian sun?”
“Golden,” she answers readily, a grin apparent in her voice. “Better than New York’s, that’s for certain. Though, not quite like home.” Keys clicking in the background float to your ear. “I looked over the documents—“
You straighten, lifting your thumb to bite your skin. “And?”
She hesitates, clothes rustle and she takes in a deep breath that you try not to read into. “It’s all legit.” Fuck. “Usually, we can exploit mistakes or loopholes, but your aunt was completely thorough with her agreement.” Your head hits the wooden door. “I’m sorry. I know it’s not what you want to hear.”
“It’s fine.”
“Look, I have a thousand dollars saved up right now—“ You’re quick to stop her by calling her name, but she won’t allow you to interrupt her. “And I could probably get another $500 soon—“
You clench your eyes closed. “You don’t have to do that, Sel. I could always get another loan from the bank and--“
“Will you shut up and let me finish? I know your pride won’t let you accept my money for free.” You slide down the door, head hanging as you listen to her. “You can always pay me back, at your terms. Ten, twenty a month, a year, fuck, I don’t care. Whatever makes you feel better. But I’m not going to let you take out another loan! You’re still paying off your mom’s hospital bill and that dumb loan you got for Esmeralda’s school fees!”
“Selena, you really don’t have to—“
“I know I don’t have to,” she snaps harshly, voice full of tough love. “I want to. You and your family helped me through a tough time and I want to help you guys too. I’m in a place where I can help, and if you won’t accept my help, then fuck you, I’ll tell your sister and I’ll send her the money.”
You choke back a sob.
“Listen,” she starts, her voice soft as you hold back sniffles, “1500 isn’t a lot, or even half of the money your aunt is demanding, but it’s a start. And I have a plan, okay? I asked Camille and Jason to whip up a new contract, using the 1500 as a down payment of sorts. I can’t guarantee it’ll work, but we’re going to negotiate with her, fight for it. It’s not over yet.”
“God, what would I do without you?”
Her voice cracks as she scoffs a laugh. “Good thing you don’t have to find out, huh?”
The music fades into the background, loud laughter cuts through the noise. Cassandra’s voice rings out loudly, announcing last call. “I feel so hopeless, Sel,” you admit to her, words laden with grief and exhaustion, and in some ways guilt. Guilt that you can’t do more for your family. Guilt that you didn’t do more to stop JC from leaving. Guilt that you’re such a horrible daughter and sister.
“Oh, darl’...”
“The hospital bills, Esme’s school, even the bare necessities—it was hard to scrape by, and now this? I just—why can’t we catch a break? Esme doesn’t deserve this. Fuck, Mom doesn’t deserve this!” Maybe if you had fought harder—tried harder, none of this would be happening.
“You don’t either.”
She might be right, but it does nothing to ease the guilt that’s slowly starting to grow in your chest. “I’m sorry, Selena. I should let you go. I’ve asked enough of you already.“
“Hey! None of that, okay? I should be the one apologizing  for not being there to hand you tissues and force feed you those ice lollies you like so much.” You let out a wet snort that she mimics. “I want you to know, no, I need you to know, that even if I'm miles away, I’m always here for you if you ever need me. No matter what.”
You rub the heel of your hand against your eye. “I know. Thank you, Sel.”
“You’re welcome.”
With whispered goodbyes and cheesy “I love you’s” you hang up. Curling up, you cover your face with your hands, shuddering breath escaping your lungs as you will yourself not to cry.
“Ma’am?” It’s soft, careful and almost stern like, kind of like Captain America from the hospital. “Are you—are you all right?” No, not kind of. It is Captain America from the hospital!
Your eyes snap up, heat licking your skin at the embarrassment of having been caught crying twice by—eyebrows knead together as they take in the blonde costumer with the black card that can certainly not be your Captain America… right?
Rogers. Rogers… Roge—fucking shit. Wait a minute! He’s the real Captain America? You’ve been caught crying by Captain fucking America? Not once, but twice? That’s fucking worse! “It’s you… you’re really… Captain America?”
He smiles, it’s kind and sweet—warmth. “You remember me.”
Of course you remember him! You just can’t believe he’s the real Captain America, history book figure, war hero Steve Rogers. You feel like an absolute idiot for not having noticed!
“Kind of hard to forget when you caught me ugly sobbing in a hospital courtyard,” you find yourself quipping back as you make to stand, quickly rubbing away your tears. “Thank you for the handkerchief, by the way. I didn’t bring it with me—“ Not that you were expecting to see him again, anyway, but you had been carrying it around just in case.
“Don’t worry about it. I told you I have more at home.” Heat crawls up your neck—because of course he does. He’s Steven Rogers, Captain America. An Avenger. A loaded Avenger in every sense of the word. He chuckles, ducking his head, but then he sobers up, smile replaced by a small frown. “Are you okay—I heard—I heard,” he pauses to swallow and you realize that he’s heard more than your crying. Fuck. “Crying. I heard you crying. Again,” he adds the last bit like a second thought.
He’s a shit liar, but you still appreciate his effort. “Fine. I’m fine, thank you for worrying about me,” you tell him softly, trying to push a smile forward. Probably looks more like a grimace. “You probably have a lot more important things to worry about than me.”
Just as you have more important things to worry about.
Peggy Lee’s voice fills the hallway with her soft, haunting crooning—“I was always a fool for my Johnny,” she sings and it jerks you. For just a moment you forget where you are; you’re suddenly eight years old again, watching your mom teach your brother how to play the guitar as your dad records them with the handheld camera.
Your mom looks at you and asks you to sing along with them, but you refuse, embarrassed that she’d even suggest you should sing! You can’t sing! But she and your teasing dad somehow coax you to screech the lyrics along with your brother’s playing, and by the end of it, you’re completely overheated and embarrassed that your dad got it all on tape, even your impromptu performance of dancing around the living room like a maniac.
But as soon as the memory comes, it’s gone. Fading to the deepest pit of your mind as you once more find yourself in the small hallway of your workplace, Steve Rogers’ frown growing deeper, lines making themselves at home on his forehead as he watches you contemplatively. “Do you—Would you like to exchange numbers?”
His request comes completely out of left field, it’s practically enough to shock whatever tears were still threatening to fall to dry up. It’s a welcome distraction. “Why?” falls from your parted lips.
He scratches the back of his head, ears turning pink as he turns away. “I just thought—uh—too forward?”
A little, you want to say, but your inner Cassandra and Selena are calling you an idiot, urging you to give him your number. Should you? You’re not going to lose anything by giving it to him. You’re probably not going to gain anything from it either. But how many times will you ever be able to say that an Avenger asked for your number? That Steve Rogers asked for your number? “Okay.”
His head snaps up and something within his eyes stir, you don’t know what it is or even come close to understanding it, but it sends a weird hum through your body that you try to ignore. Noticing your staring, his melts and gives way to his earlier softer look—kind and warm. “Here.”  He gives you his phone after unlocking it and you take it, inputting your number and name before handing it back to him. He says your name aloud—and you physically resist the urge to react to him saying your name—and his lips tilt upward. “Nice to officially meet you.”
“Hey, Steve, we should—“ Steve moves his head to look over his shoulder as you lean to the side to find who you’ve come to the realization must be another Avenger—Falcon. His earthy eyes move between you and Steve, a small smirk tugging at his lips. “Am I interrupting something?”
Your lips roll into your mouth to hide the grimace you’re mostly likely sporting. “Ah, no, we—I was just—thank you again, um, Cap? Steve?”
“Steve,” he tells you, smiling reassuringly in your direction before turning to Sam with a semi serious expression. “I’ll be there in a moment, Sam.“
“It’s fine,” you interject, moving your gaze from him and his friend to stare over their shoulders’ and out into the warm lit bar. “I need to get back to work, anyway.”
“Right, of course,” Steve says, stepping aside to let you through. You smile at him briefly but before you can pass by him, he stops you with a shy smile. “You wouldn’t mind if I call you?”
You falter slightly, taking you a moment to recover, but once your muscles relax, you flash him an unguarded smile. “No, I wouldn’t.”

|FAMILY TIES| M| MAFIA AU| 4|
Tumblr media
SNEAK PEEK #2 1.1 K
Soo you've gotten 3k of the chapter between the two(It will be around 13 all together so there’s still a lot in between lol )
GENRE:SMUT/ ANGST
AU SUMMARY :  A powerful alliance made up of of 4 families spanning over a decade, is suddenly turned on its head when one family has a new leader after an unexpected death. Well let’s just say he’s not down to follow the somewhat civilized rules your families have inforced. Sooo now, it’s game on…
LOCATION: Shanghai Pudong International Airport 11PM Wednesday night
You were out like a light, not even bothering to wake you until, the cargo plane had also landed, it was pushing almost 11pm at this point. Waking up to the feeling of someone slipping your shirt over your head, in combination with the sound of thunder rumbling against the plane. Eyes slightly hazy as they fluttered open slowly….
“It’s pouring and barley 50 degeress, you’d freeze in that…” Gaze dropping down to silently  observe the way he delicately slid your body into your oh so subtle Gucci tracksuit. “Eww when did you get so sappy!” The playful tease rolled off your lips and against his tongue, not hesitating to let his hand make a firm imprint on your ass. Holding it in place so you felt the sting against your flesh, forever reminding you how instant his duality could be.
A whimper slipped past your tongue while he smiked into the kiss, “Who the fuck are you calling sappy?” a low growl left his lips, as he sunk his teeth into your bottom lip, before shifting your body beanthe him, flipping you over so you were straddling his waist. Lazy kisses and sweet nothings were brushed against each others lips as you waited to unload the jet. Jet lag was in full affect that’s for damn sure ,this was NOT a smooth ride at all.
It felt surreal yet so natural..the two of you..not holding your breath with how long it would last, well aware that you both had a lot on your shoulders right now. Emotions are at an all time high so you tried not to over analyze the affection he was giving you, no matter how much you loved it.
Upon stepping off the plane you were greeted by almost terrifyingly dark skies , I swear mother nature tries to drop hints….she tries. Thankfully the mood was brightened slightly by Lay’s deadly dimples noticeable even tucked under a hat making his rounds as he greeted you all one by one. While you all loaded a little car comparable to an oversized golf cart where he drove you all a little further down the lane where the freight plane landed.
“Okay so I need a favor, I need every box counted and marked,as you guys load each one nto the truck I want them loaded in numerical order…tonight!” Smiling up at him doe eyed, his body just slumped at the sound of that. It was wet and cold, and late as all hell, due to the weather they probably weren’t even going to unload until the morning!  But he'd never question, or complain about anything you requested of him. Shooting you another charming smile before  bowing out, to instruct his men to do as you asked.
It took close to an hour to get through every box, stregicially placing them based on weight, size, and  if any of them were marked as “Fragile “  The seven of you waited in anticipation, as they loaded the last 3 boxes into the trailer.
“54!” You heard Lay's voice echoed through the wind...A combination of relief and confusion now danced through the atmosphere.
‘Does this mean I could actually, possibly leave China for once without killing someone!? ’ Hoseok spoke up for the first time since waking up voice sitting extremely groggy.
A drowsy chuckle filled the space as you all stood under the awning of the building to avoid the rain. Back pressed  firmly against Tae for extra warmth, as you all started walking towards the terminals. According to Lay’s packing sheet the driver  left with 60 boxes...he claims they took six so, so far his “robbery”stories kinda  lining up...
“I don't know man, I just still don’t get how they got away with six freight boxes before he noticed...has the driver’s plane landed?” Taehyung’s eyes cut over to Jin, as he checked the airports stats on his phone.
‘Nope, the rain has him delayed , at least another hour or so…”
It was getting late and none of you had the patience to wait for him, also not wanting to ambush the driver, wanting to weight until you’d collected a little more info.
“How about this, instead of him taking the semi home, and coming back in the morning for the trailer, have Lay take him home...just makeup some bullshit excuse. I want Hoseok to drive it in, tomorrow morning instead . Tell the driver he can come in at 8 with all the other shop workers…” Jin nodded, walking over to give Lay the new game plan, before descending into the chaos that was the airport.
As you lot trucked through, believe it or not it was still packed..regardless of the fact it was pushing midnight. The line for Customs & Immigrations was ungodly and the 7 of you definitely drew attention, some stairs lingered longer than others. Taehyung and yourself were strategically placed between the other 5 men, purposely shielding you from view. Yet the presentation felt natural, it didn't appear like a barricade to the naked eye, if you didn't know any better you’d just think you were walking in a group.
A good hour, and lack of patience later you were the last to get verified, you understood enough Chiness to gist that everything documentation wise was all good. Just as the smiling face in front of you handed back your passport a member of TSA steps into frame.
Almost snatching your passport right out of your hand “Rude…” Slipped past your lips, eyes rolling to the back of your head without even a second thought.
You could hear him mumbling something in Chiness to the other TSA the almost sounded like “Back room”
“Ms. Sever-”
“Severiane’ ” Tone dry as all hell, you could tell he was struggling and you weren’t in the mood, already annoyed by this blatant attitude.
“Yes’ we need you to step out of line, and follow me..” First thing you noticed was how clear his accent was, as he spoke to you in English with no hesitation.
“For what!?” The words slipped past all of there lips simultaneously before you even had time to rebuttal, completely ignoring the men to your right as they chimed in. The lack of response clearly wasn’t working in your favor as both guards stepped from behind the counter, and just like clock work, Taehyung and Namjoon were at your side as the men started to invade your personal space.
Both of there faces screamed “Back the fuck up..now!”
“I’m only going to ask you one more time, as long as you cooperate this won’t take long..”
You could feel Tae’s grip on your waist get tighter, pulling you into his frame as he locked eyes with the guard in front of you. If looks could kill, this man's head would be on the other side of the airport right now . You swore you could almost hear Taehyung’s teeth grinding together his jaw was clenched so tightly,
“Yeah, okay, ,whatever…not like my bags and passport didn't already clear your system but sure..lead the way” Flagging your hand to gesture you were ready to go, nothing subtle about the attitude that dripped from your lips
As you went to walk off, the grip Tae held on the back of your joggers never faltered jerking you back into him. “I got this…” Brushed past your lips and you swore he growled in response, forgetting how possessive this man could get. His eyes cut from yours and over to gentleman to your right before nodding tentatively.
Smiling faintly in Namjoon’s direction as well, knowing he was feeling all the same emotions as Taehyung! Wigging out of his hold, fingertips gracing yours until the last possible second, the final glare that shoot from their eyes into the Tsa was lethal….
Walking down a long hallway before finally being led to a room in the back corner.
Upon taking a seat the gentleman that walked you in left without saying a single word….
“That’s a beautiful plane you guys have…” Another extremely clear American accent graced through the doors as a different agent walked in to take a seat in front of you. His name tag translating to “Han”.
“Thank you…”
“So what brings you to Shanghai at this time of night…”
You could tell he was just beating around the bush and you really had no patience for it whatsoever “I didn't plan to get here this late, but it’s a long flight and the weather sucks..” Shrugging nonchalantly as you crossed your legs, slouching back in your seat.
“Is it your first time here?”
Just shaking your head “no” in response, the utter lack of enthusiasm earned a chuckle from the gentleman in front of you.
“Ohhhkay..and what brings you here this time?”
“Food..shopping...aesthetically pleasing pics for my Instagram..shall I continue…” Crass nothing but crass…
“So your telling me you flew 16 hours to shop, eat and take pictures?” Brow arched at the implied question triggering a smirk to crawl up your face.
“Clearly you can tell I can afford it” Letting your hand trail up and down your body everything from your tracksuit, to the diamonds that danced along your body screamed affluent. “So yes, that is why I’m here..and if all you wanted was my itinerary can I go?”
“No, I actually called you in because  when your bag got checked.. We noticed your weapon wasn’t stored properly. But instead of just taking it, I decided to be nice and give you a warning,I even brought a pamphlet for the proper protocol when traveling  with a concealed weapon.
Bullshit, utter bullshit, there was nothing wrong with your gun and if it was it would've gotten flagged when they checked your bag…They don’t play around when it comes to weapons registered or not!
“Hmm, well aren't you a gem, thank you, I’ll be more careful next time..” Flashing him an Oscar worthy smile ...to go with his bullshit excuse for why he called you in here
“Anytime, make sure it’s secured when you leave though,  we won’t be as generous next time…” Slowly rising from his seat, just nodding in response.
“Enjoy Shanghai Ms. Sunjata…” You felt your spine go ridigit at the sound of that, completely readjusting in your seat. Footsteps rattled behind you, as you heard the door shut. Trying to run through any scenario in your head, that could explain why you were 99.99 percent sure this TSA agent just referred to you by your original surname!
That was all the conformation he needed...silently observing the obvious shift in body language..
And just like clock work you realized he wasn’t actually leaving, the door was never closed when he came in to begin with….
Soooo like….Ya’ll ready for part 4 or Nah? Lol lemme know whatcha think…This is the last sneak peek no promises but I’m thinking Next week it should be up! It’s almost done.....
Love you as always..

You have real dedication to your writing. I care cause everything you write seems so effortless. Love you xx
My dear friend, you don't know how much I needed this. The positive vibes and unwavering support mean so much to me. The word count screenshot that I'm assuming this message is in reference to is for a fic that was supposed to be completely finished last weekend. Up until a few days ago, there were zero words written. When I stopped this morning, I had written a total of 3k words. It's amazing what a little motivation can do. I am about a third of the way done with this one shot. I still have two maybe three big scenes to write and I need to have it finished by Saturday night. I need to get it beta'd by the end of the month. I have been late to every deadline thus far and it's killing me inside. I hate being behind but honestly every time I sat down to write I couldn't do it. I found something else to do -- another story to write, an extra bit to create, a new detail to obsess over. I decided that last night I needed to get something done and I did. Now, I think I can finish on time. I'd like to be one of those writers that says writing is effortless. I wish I could sit down for an hour and write four thousand words. That part that I finished this morning that is currently three thousand words took me around four hours to write. Nothing seemed good enough. I have restarted this story four times. I've had the dialogue planned out for ages. I know what's going to happen in the middle and at the end. It was the beginning that was throwing me off. The introduction to this new world never sounded right. That was until this morning. I didn't obsess over it like I usually do. I just sat down and wrote and I like what I have so far. The relationship is believable. The backstory is cute. This challenge fic is going to be a fun one to read when I'm finished. It's different for me, which is really nice. For me, writing is never effortless. It takes time and a lot of motivation and a lot of good music to get me through. I start with an idea and rewrite it a few times. Ask anyone that has helped me plan. I start with one idea and it gets changed more than once throughout the process. I'd screenshot the current messages about Fergie and Niall's story but then things would get ruined. It started out one way and now it's going the exact opposite. I can never make up my mind so I constantly ask for help (even if I know what I want to do). I'll ask others for their opinion to see if I'm on the same page as someone that loves the story as much as I do. I want to be able to give them what they want while keeping true to the story I want to tell. It's worked great so far. I'm a perfectionist. If something isn't working (regardless of how many words are already written), I will start over. I open a new document with the same name and try again. I write on scraps of paper at work or on my phone. I send things to my trusted people and hope they like it even if I don't. Reassurance is everything in this type of community. You want someone to like what you're doing, to believe in your writing, to relate to your stories. That's why getting messages like this means so much. You guys have given me so much more than I could ever give you and for that I'm truly grateful. I'm so flattered that you enjoy reading what I write. Most of the time, it's a labor of love. But it is a love that is unconditional. Thank you for this message and for your kind words. I love you more than I could ever express. ❤️
