Ok now im making this everyone else’s problem.

So i cracked and made some Dexdark fankids. It started out as just one, but I carried the theme and made 3

Fusionfall continuity, they are artificially created like the Nanos, only they need two parent DNAs and have a lot more freedoms.

This is C! It is the oldest of the three and hasn’t picked itself a name (Mandark refused to name it, so they both sort of just. Waited it out until it picked one, and never did 😂. So C it remained)

It essentially can create imaginary friends templated off of loved ones and can summon them to utilize in battle. They function like Nanos, but can actually dole out attacks.

The two they have based on Dexter and Mandark lol.

Later they make two more based on the other Nano types.

A (who looks almost exactly like Oceanbird). She can craft organic power suits for herself similar to how Fuse creates Fuse Monsters based on objects or creatures in the world.

Despite being the youngest and smallest, she is quite strong because of this. She adores the PPG and follows Blossom around a lot! She is also sometimes mentored by Kevin, who took a liking to her because of their somewhat similar powers!

She picked the name Hollyhock because they are her favorite flower ^^

Then theirs B, or Brutus. The middle child and the one who struggles the most. He inherited all of Mandark’s worst traits and struggles to keep up with his siblings as he hasn’t manifested any unique abilities. Hes the most human of the three, and harbors an extreme jealously of his siblings because of this.

While the other two spend a lot of time with Dexter in the overworld training or battling, Brutus spends most of his time in the lab with Mandark. They form a very close bond.

Eventually they have a conversation along the lines of “I’m a failed experiment. Im useless to you, why do you keep me around?” And Mandark is not only faced with the fact he has become attached to his creations, but the fact he has put himself into a parental role and that these are people - children - in his care who need love and support and that grow.

So yeah, Mandark says he doesnt pick favorites, but its very obvious who his favorite is. OK HAVE THIS MEME BYYEEEEE

This meme template is from the latest Doctor Who special that was released three days ago.

It took three days for people to use a brand new meme to trash Wanda. I’m kind of impressed it took that long.

They seem obsessed, don't they? I can't believe that in a thread condemning Wanda for her actions, one of the replies is "Oh but Stark's past is his character arc so it's alright actually!". 😳😂

Now, what I cannot forgive is that comment claiming Stephen justified what Wanda did. He never did. Not even close. Wanda's first instinct was to admit her mistake and she acknowledged what she did was wrong, which is why Stephen reminded her that she's defined by her mistakes AND her sacrifices to fix those mistakes.

Not to mention the Darkhold was corrupting her in that scene but hey, who cares! That's an excuse. She was always evil, right? Right?

That retconning of Wanda's past reminds me of the many fans who claimed Loki had been written horribly in all 5 movies and only the first season of his series had done a good job with him. I still believe these are the 'pro canon fans' who will defend any recent releases no matter what, but I would love to understand their reasoning here. Prior to WV and MoM, how was Wanda's arc that of a villain? Even in AoU, she goes from enemy to ally, and throughout CW, IW and EG she is a hero. It's not a matter of interpretation, she is a hero as much as the others.

Saying she was always supposed to end up as a villain is ridiculous, especially when Waldron himself admitted he just wanted a powerful evil female character and he took her in order to have fun ruining writing her. If these stans believe us saying "We know she made a mistake but we understand why" means "She did nothing wrong" then they can't be helped.

Oh and that "Stopping yourself from enslaving and torturing people makes you a hero"? Yes, actually. That's how it works and that's what heroes do: sacrifice their own happiness for the greater good. Wanda could have chosen to bring the Hex back up and keep her family, but she chose not to. That's a heroic act, no matter how much you hate to admit it.

Like I said the other day, the creation of the Hex was not voluntary but its destruction was. Too bad that's too much for these folks...

Absolutely!

So the downside of this is that it opens the link directly: I imagine there's a version that opens the link in a new tab, but I haven't bothered to find it. So, to link:

< a href="insert url between these quotation marks (no spaces)">insert the text you want to actually show up between these arrows (spaces, capitalization, and punctuation are okay)< / a>

Delete the space between the < and the a at the start, and the spaces on either side of the / within the arrows at the end, I just had to put those there because it kept formatting as a link otherwise haha!

So in the end this is what my link looks like:

I don't type them every time, I literally just keep a note with the ones I use frequently and a blank template for anything else I want to link to and copy/paste them as needed.

Other handy tips include: if you put <i> on one side of a word or phrase and </i> on the other, it will italicize everything in between. (Useful in comments and summaries where there's no rich text option.) Same with bolding, where everything between <strong> and </strong> will be bold. And <blockquote> </blockquote> which is how I get this inset text effect:

Another trick I've recently learned and been abusing to bother my favourite authors in the comments is:

Remove the space after the starting arrow and before the end one, and your image will show up in comments! (I recommend using that sparingly, to supplement words rather than replace them. We writers do love to hear from people in words...but sometimes a meme is called for. 😂)

I'm kind of trying out something new. I got this jacket from a friend's brother, because he was trying to get rid of it, so the specific jacket was just chance but I’ve been trying to shift my style to something that makes me happier for a while, so this was a good chance for that. (i’ve also begun stealing my uncle’s shirts that he leaves here, they’re so oversized and lovely - i have this plaid button down that’s SO comfy. wonderful now that it’s colder).
