Thinking intensely about how Luke, in his final moments, trusts the force only for it to do nothing for him. He was betrayed by it just as he was betrayed when his chance to study under Obi Wan was ripped away from him and given to another. He gave one last chance to this force which was promised to save the galaxy, to save him and yet when he called out for it, it abandoned him

although i’m not a fan of himbo garroth and his mystreet characterisation in general,, i think it makes some sense. he had two totally different upbringing’s in mystreet and diaries which obviously lead him to being very different in both series which i don’t see people mentioning a lot. by no means do i think that garroth’s grossly oversimplified,, himbofied mystreet portrayal is the natural conclusion to him having a better childhood (or at least better than his childhood in diaries) but him being laidback and more bubbly makes sense! i think a better written mystreet!garroth would still be relaxed and excitable but still have diaries!garroth’s intelligence and depth. garroth unfortunately has always been a victim of not really having a cohesive characterisation outside of having beef with zane. he’s always been all over the place. but i do think that in mystreet he would have been very different from his diaries self. i guess the real question is whether he would’ve been a better person or not

I see you were on the receiving end of one of cannoli-reader's massive rants about how much he hates Egwene al'Vere. That guy is incapable of being rational about her and basically thinks she's a Darkfriend - he's notorious in WOT fandom for being obsessed with Egwene to levels that even other Egwene haters think is a bit much. I think he searches for posts about her just so he can rant about how much he hates her. Disregard.
lol, I have them blocked! there was a period where they were combing through my blog and leaving comments on a bunch of my posts, and I didn’t even mind a lot of our differing opinions but the egwene post did it for me because it was very vile. I appreciated their ability to write elaborate analyses but it wasn’t going to be at the expense of basic truths intrinsic to the foundation of the characterisations and storytelling - no analysis is ever going to have any ground to stand on when it refuses to acknowledge very basic canon; if you can’t trust those very fundamental facts (for example, that egwene and moiraine are good people who make lots of questionable decisions because they’re flawed and have a bunch of personal traumas influencing those decisions or that elayne is a very empathetic and kind person and not… a spoiled and pampered princess who takes advantage of the dumb redheaded villager) then I can’t pretend that those posts are in good faith or even in defence of RJ’s supposedly inviolably precious canon because they come at the expense of personal biases and (unconsciously or not) stem from some degree of disrespect to his work. a refusal to engage with their larger place in the story indicates that the analysis was never going go be worth its salt anyway. I often trust more readers who hated the books at this point, tbh.

Octonauts Week Day 4!(Late😔)✨✨
TRANS TOMINNOW LETS GOOO!!!
I love the lil lass with all me heart💙💙
Oh Ho Ho what is the vegimal reflection theory u ask? :3 (if someone’s said this before pls let me know too!)
All the vegimals are like inverted versions of the main octonauts, I know the numbers don’t add up so some may double. This is based on character and highly around the A Very Vegimal Christmas episode. It is hinted at through Gup choice and which ones visit in the rooms looking for the crew, n how they are in the episode. I could go way into detail maybe after octo-week, but Tominnow is the complement of Kwazii:
Kwazii is braver, daring, more confident, stands out, sure of himself, more loud I guess too
Tominnow is smaller, quieter, more clumsy and more gentle
It has been hinted that Kwazii could be trans by meomi, and I think it is a common theory in our lovely community. This further supports because if Tominnow is an opposite, Kwazii being ftm and Tominnow being mtf makes sense👍
All vegimals that we know of are referred to as he, having only one she (that we know for sure) doesn’t rly make sense ig if all vegimals are the same just varying veggies and animal combos(the books).
I hc Tominnow prefers Kwazii too, I think they would totally be pirate buds and he would teach her the swashbuckling ways >:3 Also had a lil hc that Tominnow liked the Gup B so much Tweak designed a special (much smaller) version based on a Dwarf Lantern Shark :3

With 10-ish hours until chapter 126 drops, I wanted to talk about this panel and its Implications™. Because the wording is so specific that it feels like it holds a big hint (or multiple) for how Falling Devil could/will eventually be defeated.
Throughout the entirety of Chainsaw Man’s run, the importance of wording things carefully has been really clear. Hell, in the very first chapter Zombie Devil exploits a loophole in how it worded its contract with the Yakuza. Most importantly, Makima was killed via a loophole—she was immune to attacks, so Denji defeated her through an act of love.
Which leads me to the specific words in this panel that caught my attention:
Kill—the protagonists don’t necessarily need to kill Falling to defeat her. This could possibly involve Asa overcoming her fear of falling: since she’s the one Falling is targeting specifically, if Asa overcomes her fear, Falling loses a lot of her power.
Attack—the same loophole used with Makima. Trap her, trick her, outsmart her. As seen with Makima, the intention behind the act itself really matters, so this could also refer to an act that the attacker doesn’t view as an attack but functionally is one.
Humanity—Denji isn’t human, and Asa is in a strange grey area herself. Nayuta and Yoru are devils. (I don’t think it’s particularly likely that Nayuta will get directly involved, but damn would I love it)
Presently—this word in particular set me off. It might as well say “yet.” If Asa creates an extremely powerful weapon, could it defeat Falling? The use of the word “possesses” also sticks out to me here, considering Asa’s weapons are made from things that belong to her—or that she views as belonging to her.
Right now, it feels like the likely options are 1. Asa and/or Denji defeating Falling Devil via overcoming their own fear, or 2. Asa creating a powerful weapon that can kill Falling.
Or, y’know, they don’t actually defeat her, and we get another fun trip to hell.

my perspective on monster high gen 3 is changing tbh, now i’m looking at it as something completely different from the old MH and i actually really like it! like when i think about it in comparison to gen 1 i’m, y’know, comparing them: ‘clawdeen wouldn’t say that’, ‘lagoona wouldn’t wear that’, but when i look at gen 3 as different characters who just share names i actually really like their personalities and designs!! i think the hate just came from nostalgia and the live action lol. also the dolls look so cute! i love the face molds!!
