Okay I'm not saying that this semester's students suck ass bc I'm not there to teach them, but isn't it just such a coincidence that the vast majority are failing so miserably and they don't have someone who will tutor them outside of class and go over notes and skills with them, while the previous semesters did have that and the majority passed? Super interesting stuff. Too bad we'll never know if things could've been different if they had just fucking paid me :)
#can you tell I'm peeved lmao#i went to one of the classes today just so i can keep it on my resume#and holy fuck#weeks into the semester and they should have the basics down#they do not#absolutely floundering#granted I'm sure I'm not actually the reason lmao#like yeah i helped a shit ton of students outside class too#but they probably could've passed without me#these new ones tho are awful#no drive no nothing just looking for others to blame for their own failures#i didn't even stay the whole time like i was planning#bc i found out that they hired four other fucking people for the program#who all have less experience than me#and have been with the program for a way shorter time than i have#who don't do half the extra shit i do#and don't get me wrong this isn't a slight at them they're all fully qualified#but why the fuck not hire me#like i genuinely am so pissed#have to email my supervisor but I'm too upset to make it sound civil#like fucking fine if you don't wanna pay me you never get to see me again#I'm not working ten hour days plus extra outside of class for nothing anymore that's insane#I'll keeping being a private tutor for the students but I'm not doing a single thing for the program without pay#i mean holy shit hiring at least four other people and not saying shit to me??#like fine that's fine fuck you you're getting an email ultimatum good luck finding someone else willing to do all that for free#i cried about it for like an hour and now I'm just mad lmao having a super normal one rn#anyway#not snz

Could I request the nrc staff + grim finding out you‘re a girl (plantonic)?
Or do they all know straight from the start?
TW: None
Info: Crowley, Grim, Sam, Cruel, Trien x Reader (Platonic)
🍓Hello lovely! I didn't want to make a whole long post about this, but I do want to talk about it. I'm so glad you asked! So the staff is... made aware of the situation, obviously. But, I think I'll go a little into depth on how each member deals with this information.
Crowley knows because... well... he sees you out of the ceremonial robes before anyone else does. He handles it as well as he does every other issue he comes across. "Just cover it up!" Famously said by Crowley. He's not unkind though, he does ensure that you get the help you need and he makes sure you keep what you need hidden, well, hidden. But... he won't do more than the bare minimum unless his hand is forced. Like... with Scarabia, he pretty much threatened the whole dorm with expulsion if they so much as uttered a word to anyone but amongst themselves. He is, unsurprisingly, not a father figure to you. He's more like... you're weird quirky uncle that you like, but only in small doses.
Grim, our little guy, finds out at the same time as Crowley... and he's a little harder to convince to keep his mouth shut to start. He doesn't like you, okay, you stole his position at NRC (like he had a chance at all). With a few well-placed cans of tuna from both you and Crowley, he keeps his little rat mouth shut. However, when you're actually granted studentship as NRC? His tune changes. It changes because Crowley holds his position as a student over his head, but it changes. Not a SINGLE person will ever hear you're a woman from Grim. He can't lose this position, not after so much work to get where he's gotten to. Besides, he grows to really love you! You're family to him, and no one out family. Seriously, he's so protective of it, once Ace and Deuce figure it out they're too scared to talk because of Grim's looming presence.
Sam is the first member of Staff to find out, other than Crowley. How? Crowley's sudden interest in pads, tampons, birth control, and all the fun stuff that comes with being a woman. Sam usually would just shrug his shoulders and excuse Crowley's quirky behavior, but then you come in looking like a lost deer and he gets it. He is genuinely so nice to you though! If you ever feel unsafe on campus, you talk to Sam and he'll handle it for you, okay? Sure, he jacks up the prices on your feminine products, but it's considerably less than his normal prices. Hell, if you're short, he'll "suddenly" remember he's got a discount on those items. He's like a cool older brother, honestly. He lets you hang out in the back of the shop and do homework when you ask, and he gives you snacks at a discount when you're there!
Crewel doesn't really treat you any differently than anyone else. Admittedly though, he's fond of you, even if you're a troublemaker. When you come into his class on your first day in a uniform six times too big for you, he feels pity for you. You didn't ask to be here, and now you have to wear that atrocious old uniform? You poor little pup. He's not exactly easy on you, but he's more understanding of your mistakes. Eventually, after you get to know him better, he offers to get you a nicer uniform and also privately tutor you. This is his excuse for keeping you busy so that you don't have as many chances to get found out, and it's also because you are horrifically failing his class and it looks bad on him.
Trien treats you the most differently out of everyone on staff. The SECOND he found out you were a girl and were being forced to hide that fact for Crowley's sake? Oh my god, grandpa was PISSED. Crowley got an EARFUL after that meeting. This man makes it his mission to make your stay as comfortable as he possibly can make it because sevens know Crowley won't be doing SHIT. After he meets you? Oh my god, you remind him of his own girls when they were little. He absolutely adores you, and everyone can tell. It's so odd to the other students because he clearly favors you, and when they ask you about it you've got no clue. He is your dad here at NRC, as out of character as that might be. You are a young woman lost in a world that is not kind to you going through so much more than you need to. He doesn't want to add more to your plate. You can come to him for anything and he will provide as best as he can.
Vargas (I'm sorry for forgetting about him lol) is a lot like Crewel in the fact that he doesn't treat you too differently from his other students. You're still made to push yourself to your upper limits for gym, still expected to keep up with your peers, and still expected to meet his general expectations. However, if it's way too much for you to do, out of fear of Crowley and Trien breathing down his neck, he'll lessen your load. Otherwise, he doesn't really have much chance to be around you outside of class. He finds you amusing and knows you've got a good head on your shoulders, but that's about it from him.

"Ozpin's Fault AU"
Jaune-napped!!! (2/2)(841 Words)
The trip to Jaune's Aunt Glynda's private accommodations took much longer than Nora would have expected. Due to the state the medical exam had put her in, Jaune was barely able to walk, let alone navigate her way through the halls of Beacon. Keeping a grip on Jaune's upper arm, Nora guided her Fearless but dazed Leader towards the assigned destination.
Nora soon was on high alert. She could see the wanton looks of other students, both male and female, aimed at Jaune. Nora herself had to admit, at least internally, that Vixen Jaune oozed innocent seductive attraction.
"Thirsty Wenches, all of them." Nora mumbled as she shot all four members of NDGO an undisguised look, promising Broken Legs if they approached any closer. "A little push and Pyr-Pyr will finally make her move, Jaune-Jaune. You'd like that, right?"
Jaune said nothing as she continued to shuffle along beside Nora.
"You two would be so adorably cute, and so easy to tease when you get together-together." Nora commented as they closed on the door of their destination.
With a couple of knocks on the designated door, it opened and Nora led the shuffling Jaune into the room.
"What happened?" Glynda asked as she took in the condition of her nephew now niece.
"First gynecologic exam." Nora answered.
"Oh yes. Understandable."
With the door closed, none of those secured inside saw the beret and sunglasses wearing fashion obsessed girl peering around the corner. She had slid her sunglasses down her nose, so she could get a better look. She had been following Nora and Jaune ever since she saw the pair setup out of the cafeteria.
"She's perfect." She mutter to herself, as she assessed the innocent yet seductive girl next door threat to her own aims. "Bun-Bun would so go for her..."
"I would so go for whom, Coco?" the team in question asked as she walked up on the distracted fashionista.
"Um... nothing. I'm not stalking anyone, I swear."
"Coco." Velvet's ears narrowed as she saw the ticks Velvet had learned long ago that indicated that Coco was lying and planning something. "What are you up to? You're not going to try and scare someone who I might find attractive, are you? You need to stop that, I've told you... many, many, many times I'm only interested in a single person, and if she would stop being so dense..."
"You don't understand, Bun-Bun. This new girl is totally the most cute but sexually desirable vixen I've ever laid eyes on. I have to protect you from her."
"New girl? What are you talking about?"
"The blond haired fox faunus, angel that is hanging around teams RWBY and JNPR."
"Oh, you mean Jaune."
"Jaune?"
"Yeah, one of the first years I tutor, mention that Jaune has suddenly become a girl and a faunus."
"How... that makes no sense, I'm confused."
"So is pretty much the whole school."
"So my cousin Jaune... oh..."
"Coco don't. I know that look. Don't you dare."
"I'm not planning anything, even if she would be the perfect model. I could do so much with her."
"Coco, don't."
"Aunt Glynda would understand." Coco commented as she returned to watching the hallway. "You have the sack, right Bun-Bun?"
"Sack? What sack?"
"The silk, full body, bitch catcher."
"No?"
"Okay, then I'll just have to improvise."
"Coco?"
The door to Glynda's apartment, opened and Nora emerged with a slightly less stunned Jaune in tow. Nora waved, before starting to guide Jaune down the hallway. Coco pulled back, and flattened herself against the wall, her arm shooting out and across Velvet's bust making her also flatten against the wall.
"Coco?"
"Shush!" Coco whispered,"They'll be going by any minute now."
Velvet watched her eyes growing wide in horror as she realized what Coco was going to do as Nora and Jaune passed by where they were laying in wait for an ambush. As soon as they had fully passed, Coco sprang into action.
"Coco, NO! Jaune look out!" Velvet shouted, but she was too late with her warning, even though Nora seemed to have heard it.
"What?" Nora half turned only to get Gianduja in its handbag form right in the face.
As Nora went down, due to the impact and pure shock of the blindside attack, Coco made her second move of her impromtu plan.
"Eep!" Jaune squealed as Coco swooped in and scooped Jaune up and slung her over her shoulder. Spinning on her heels, Coco bolted past Velvet.
"Camera! Boutique!" Coco shouted as she tore past the shocked Velvet.
"Coco?"
"Camera! Boutique!" Coco called again as she vanished down the hall.
Velvet shook her head and sighed, as her shoulders dropped in defeat, before she walked away, knowing instinctively what Coco was planning, and unable to bring herself to also resist, the temptation.
"Ow." Nora moaned as she tried to clear the stars that were dancing across her vision.
In the distance, an insane cackling rang out, causing those students who were in the halls to shiver.

Hii there, can I request The Bad Batch defending reader when a Teacher is being disrespectful and calling her/them lazy when reader have a single bad grade? Thank you!! (you can use whatever pronouns you prefere).
Our Star - The Bad batch x Gn!Reader
A/N: Hey I really hope this is okay! :D I really liked your request it was a joy to write! Tysm for requesting :3
Tumblr media
Plot: Learning at the academy your grades are incredible, thanks to Tech, apart from one. One in which your teacher made out to be the worst thing possible and it ruins your self esteem. The Bad Batch won't have that though and are on root to help and support you.
Warnings: Upset over grades also a mean teacher!
"Sit." She demanded which made you inwardly sigh and begin to panic a little bit. Why was she so moody today? "Do you know why I called you here y/n?" You just simply shook your head choosing not to speak as the words got caught within your throat. "It's because your grade is slipping and it's a horrible reflection upon the academy and me. You're lazy!" She paused before showing you the datapad filled with your grades, a slightly lower mark than the others beside the specialty of combat medic. It was a tough class trying to figure out what to do in the heat of the simulator battle mode to save a pretend person's life. It left you shaking more than you'd like to admit.
-------------
Our star
Training at the academy was hard, especially when your family is on the move constantly for missions. Your family dubbed themselves as The Bad Batch and you write a part of it too! You loved your brothers and they loved you. Walking through the busy and crowded hallways, you clutched your datapad to your chest making your way to the office. Your teacher had called you there for a small discussion, one in which you were eager to have. Thanks to Tech tutoring you, your grades were excellent and your brothers were extremely proud of their 'star' as they called it. Pressing the doors controls, it opened with a light hiss allowing you to walk in and smiling at the head teacher before you. They were always rude and mean, strict on students and it was rare to hear any praise unless it was sarcasm. There was plenty of that thrown around. The head reacher didn't return the smile, instead she gestured to the seat before you to sit in.
"I'm sorry, I'm finding that class a little tough but my grades are still high." You breathed lightly, trying to keep your voice from leaking any knowledge to your fear. "I promise to work harder."
"Too right you will!" She yelled out, slamming her fists onto her desk. This was pretty over dramatic, even for her. "What would your brothers think? I'm sure they'd be ashamed of you." That instantly struck a nerve, your heart sinking into your stomach. Thump. Thump. Thump. Your heart was hammering against your ribcage, your lungs tightening as your mind wracked through these new darker thoughts. Would they be ashamed? Maybe they would. Tech has been doing everything he can to teach you and he'd put his own life on hold for the private lessons. All of them had been helping you out and you began to think that you had failed them as their younger sibling, tears pricking your eyes.
"I'll do better. Thank you." You spoke, your voice barely a whisper. She waved her hand, signalling for you to go which you gladly did with great speed - heading straight outside and toward the direction of the Havoc Marauder.
Once the attack shuttle was in view, you drew in a jagged breath. They're going to be so disappointed surely. Once you walked up the ramp, familiar laughs and voices filled your ears. The sound always warmed you and let any tension melt away, but not today.
"Hey y/n is back!! How was ya day?" Wrecker laughed, lifting you up and spinning you gently before setting you down due to Echo's demand in case you got dizzy.
"Uhm, yeah it was okay!" You lied through your teeth toward them, forcing a smile to your face that didn't meet your eyes. Tech and Echo soon walked in with Crosshair trudging behind - giving you a light smile that he had reserved just for you. You smiled back before fiddling with your hands trying to stop the emotion swelling within you.
"What did you learn about?" Echo asked, smiling as he patted your head in a gesture of affection. You wracked your brain trying to think back on the day, what had you learned? The conversation with the headteacher was the only thing playing on your mind.
"Well it was shooting practice today." You gazed up at them before seeing Crosshairs eyes light up momentarily.
"I trust you did well thanks to me?" He spoke playfully, chuckling gently.
"I did! Top grades!" You beamed but that instantly fell away from your face, a frown replacing it.
"How about your Combat Medic training? I checked your time table and saw that it was scheduled for today." He paused, giving you a warm smile after putting down his datapad. "I'm sure you did amazing."
Once his praise was in the air, you couldn't hold it back anymore as you began to cry. Sobs wracked through your body as Hunter instantly brought you into his arms. "Hey hey what's wrong vod'ika?" His voice soothed, hugging you tightly as his hand rubbed circles into your back.
"Got into trouble an' she yelled at me my grades are bad." You sobbed out, Tech's face instantly softened as you cried. Crosshair soon growled lightly, gazing toward his brothers before gently crouching beside you, brushing hair away from your eyes.
"Vod'ika, which teacher yelled at my star?" You sniffed lightly, crying more as Echo gently held you, taking over from Hunter.
"Headteacher…" Your muffled voice whispered as Tech began typing away at his datapad.
"Star, your grades are perfect. You're doing great in combat as a medic!" He began to ramble onwards, "What on maker is she on about? Our vod'ika is doing amazing." The others just huffed lightly before smiling as your sobs calmed down and turned into hiccups.
"She-she said that I'm a horrible reflection on her and the academy and that I'm lazy! What if they expel me!" The batch gently sat you down, all of them beside you as they comforted you.
"My star, your grades are not a reflection of who you are. You're an amazing talented individual and we trust you with our lives." Hunter paused for a moment gazing at you happily. "You work so hard! She's wrong. Your grades are amazing and it's okay to struggle!" He smiled as Tech wiped away some of your tears.
"We love you. You are not lazy, you are the most talented person we know. You're the backbone of our batch." Echo chuckled, loving the new smile against your face.
Little did you know that when your brothers made sure you got some rest, all of them apart from Echo who had said he wanted to keep you safe, left that night in their full armour. They showed up at the academy and requested a personal meeting with the headteacher which she accepted. Walking into the office, Hunter slammed his hands on the desk with the brothers standing and glaring daggers into her eyes.
"Now what's this about you calling our y/n lazy huh?"
Rest assured, she never bothered you again and they made sure you knew that you are amazing, smart and talented even if grades slip every now and then.
