I genuinely love how each character on the QSMP is living in a different genre, so two characters doing the same thing have different consequences, and it has different weight on their story / the QSMP narrative as a whole.
For example, Cellbit killing 4 Federation workers is treated very seriously, and we know his actions will have serious consequences in the future.
Meanwhile, Etoiles wiping out every single Federation worker on his way out of an infiltration mission is par for the course because man's living in a shonen anime.

I enjoy shipping, but I cannot see the appeal in watching shows only for the purpose of shipping; I think it closes you off to so much. I think coming into a work with the expectation that it will only succeed if a particular configuration of people end up happily in a relationship with each other when the curtain closes means you will reject so many unexpected choices altogether. It destroys your ability to appreciate the entire concept of tragedy. Just, imagine refusing to let yourself enjoy "I'm not a gardener" because you are too furious that a different kiss than the one you wanted happened to feel other emotions.

"I think we should give kids autonomy over what we share about them, even in smaller things."
"That's silly, they won't get traumatized because I showed a friend that my kid painted a dog."
It's not all about trauma. It's about respect for what they want. It's about getting them used to the idea that they get to decide how much of themselves they want to show. It's about being aware myself that my kid doesn't belong to me, I don't own their life and their story, and if they're asking to have control over what I share, they should have it. Even if it seems insignificant to me.
