Sonia and Komaeda getting along well enough to room together is so good honestly. Even if its mostly bc she takes no shit, Komaeda was still like the only person to stand up for her when Teruteru was trying to get frisky about her naiveté in the prologue/ch1.

I kind of suspect she was acting more unknowing than she really was then, to suit her role as a princess, but he had no way of knowing that then. Plus, if she was aware then, it might be easier for her to recognize the side of him that isn't all hope n murder? Since outside of the killing game he's pretty polite (if self effacing) and generally not down for creepy behavior.

If you've got any more thoughts on these two's interactions postgame, I'd love to hear.

With over 20 members currently on the QSMP and more on the way, it's almost impossible for a single person to stay up to date on everything that happens, even with help from QSMP's official Twitter recap accounts.

For people who are interested in QSMP's story, characters, and/or streamers but don't have time to watch hundreds of hours worth of VODs, I've created the QSMP VOD Timestamp Archive.

If there's a particular lore moment you missed live and can't find, search for it in the archive!

Timestamps include quotes, notable lore events, and funny interactions. Interesting or important moments from each stream are bolded for emphasis. I'm also adding short summaries for lore-heavy / eventful stream.

I've organized the document so it should be easy to navigate, and you can CTRL + F to search for specific streamers and/or events.

Complete VOD playlists, recaps, and additional resources are also included in the document for people who might be feeling overwhelmed by the amount of QSMP content out there. It's never too late to get into the series!

If you have a streamer you watch consistently, consider writing down important timestamps to help fellow fans! You don’t have to take detailed notes like mine – even one or two timestamps can be a real lifesaver. If you have any helpful timestamps you want added to the list (or even a 1 sentence summary of a particular stream), send it to me via DM so I can add it to the archive.

I am just one person, so unfortunately this archive is by no means comprehensive, but I'm constantly updating things and adding more streams and timestamps to the document. I've been working on this project for a while now, so even though it's not complete, I hope people find it useful!

My idea is that everything is almost the same: the whole of Dark Era happened, Dazai left, the bomb in the car happened, the whole thing. But!

In the Dark Era light novel, when Dazai goes to Mori to request help for Oda, he mentions forming a "small team of executive-level ability users". Obviously, that idea never came to be, but Chuuya fits that description, so what if Dazai had followed through on that idea? Because of the timing, Oda still dies, that team never made it, but now Chuuya is involved in that mess.

The aftermath of Dark Era has grey areas, and by playing with that, Chuuya, now personally involved in these events, struggles to accept Mori's "sacrifices (of our own people) must be made for the greater good" philosophy, realizes the threat can come from the inside, and after a while, decides that he needs to leave and find a better way to protect (not save!) people.

While Dazai goes directly to Taneda, we know Chuuya has history with Ango (plus he's also involved in this) and that's who he goes to for help. Ango knows about Dazai's plans, mentions Chuuya to Taneda, and Taneda is delighted. He decides to do the same thing with Chuuya he's doing with Dazai. The PM just manipulated them into giving out a legal permit, two can play at that game.

And that's what leads us to a two-year-long buildup to Taneda's greatest punchline yet

Hi, out of curiosity, do you have a list of prefixes and suffixes that you use to name characters in this au/rewrite? I'm just curious bc you clearly do a lot of research and I'm interested in just what all you'd put

I think I tried to start a google spreadsheet of prefixes and suffixes months ago, but I actually have an obscure brain quirk called ADHD, which stands for A Dude & His Distractions. I'm on 20 mg of being put in a washing machine (high spin cycle) a day.

But, it would just be for other people really. When I get the chance to name cats outright, I have a big mental list of names I already totally want to use, or think about the family they're part of and how their parents would name them. Like, I'll try to make it match their siblings, think about what sort of names their family typically uses, or use prefixes that canon hasn't used but I would.

Like, a Truckkit would be pretty fun for SkyClan. Gas in reference to marsh gas, Vetch or Teasel because they're some of my favorite plant names, I love "weird but ecologically valid" ones like Jelly, Cinnabar, Plantain, which describe something TOTALLY DIFFERENT from what you think those should mean.

(jelly = jelly ear mushroom, cinnabar = type of moth, plantain = type of grass)

So... all that to say, unfortunately I do not have a list. At least, not one that's physical. The closest you're gonna get for now is the Clanmew lexicon.

by 3 pm today i had already scrubbed down the shower (with my new electric scrub brush which is FANTASTIC), replaced the shower curtain liner, dusted, showered, and now i've even eaten lunch. who is she and what else is she capable of?

The Trans Community is less an amalgamation of every trans person in existence and more of many trans communities with different needs, goals, aspirations, and experiences, so I'm always low-key suspicious every time I hear cis people act as though there is a Singular Hegemonic Trans Community.

When you notice and recognize that there are many trans communities with either similar or polar opposite goals, I think you can recognize commonalities between communities and are able to work with us instead of assuming, you know?

Bill being forced to say the truth is such a fun concept though. I imagine Ford's the most likely candidate to hit Bill with a truth spell. Now he can expose Bill's nature once and for all! And find out what secret evil plans the demon has involving his nephew. 😠

Only it completely backfires because Bill acts the exact same as he usually does? After all, Bill usually doesn't have a reason to lie to the Pines family. Will he omit the truth? Totally! But rarely does he outright lie.

(But anyway, the plan backfires and Stan and Mabel are not convinced. "Yeah Bill's a jerk but he's not actually harmful", they say, with no knowledge of the countless atrocities he's committed.)

So Bill continues to act like his usual asshole self, completely unaware that he's under the influence of a truth spell. Until he sees his husband do something smart/cute/whatever. Before Bill even realizes, he's saying the sappiest, most gooey sedimental shit any demon has ever heard. Like "You're perfect, I love you so much". Completely unfiltered thoughts. The stuff he even lies to himself about. "You make me so happy. I'm so glad I met you".

The best part is that the situation is even worse (for Bill) the angrier he gets. "I hate you" comes out as "I love you". "You're the worst thing that ever happened to me" comes out as "The best thing". At one point, he accidentally says you're lucky I love you when he meant to be threatening. Everything is terrible. Dippers trying to figure out a cure and Bill can't help because he's to busy throwing up his organs. All the sedimental bullshit is making him sick.

#This much sincerity is terrible for a demon like Bill #It's like he's got a terrible cold as well as throwing up all the time as his organs rebel against the honesty #Bonus: Ford DID learn Bill's horrible plan for his nephew. Okay it might be time to get on my soapbox for a second because some anons or people on Twitter I'm seeing are perhaps not understanding the wide range of types of organizations that are out there and the different types of work of educational organizations.

I, for example, work for a 501c3 organization (in the USA) which is educational in nature. That's my entire job - to educate the population - from Members of Congress to the general public to college students to communal leaders - about our mission. To do that, we poll the population on general attitudes (extremely important to show the thoughts and feelings of the population you're trying to reach), put out reports on our work, hold symposiums where experts in the field come together to work on solutions, and get our mission out in the media.

I'm not saying that Catherine's early childhood work is a 501c3 because it is different and of course she's in the UK so the laws are different. But the same basics are all there. She's created a public campaign to raise awareness about her mission, conducted polling, brought experts together in the field to work on solutions, holds symposiums with those experts and will probably publish a report on that, and gets out in the media through either her position as Princess visiting various charities or TV spots like Tiny Happy People, and funds studies like the field study with the Alarm Distress Baby Scale model.

She is *not* doing what would be illegal at my organization - lobbying the government, which is completely different from an education-focused campaign/organization. And she is certainly not just giving speeches or doing nothing. She's doing what thousands and thousands of organizations around the world do educate either the general population or a certain invested population about a mission they deem important.

I only sometimes laugh at the misinformed takes I see on social media because, for example, if you knew about the work that I do at a progressive organization in the Israel-Palestine space, you'd look at the world and think that we were completely failing. But we're not, because we are doing what we can to educate the world and be a space and catalyst for change through that education. But we're not creating change through lobbying governmental organizations which again, would be a completely different organization with different rules and regulations. Education campaigns are important and necessary.

#anyway this probably doesn't make any sense but I wanted to get that out there! #I personally think what Catherine is doing is great and necessary #(like have you SEEN the teachers complain about children not knowing their numbers or basic reading skills on tik tok??) #there has never been a greater need for investment in the early years than RIGHT NOW #but it's not even about that #what I'm trying to say is what she's doing is the normal way of things for hundreds of thousands of organizations around the world
