Aw! I'm so glad you voted for them! I have another round of voting coming this week and I feel like it will be VERY split five different ways hahahaha I'm a beach girl as well! The sound of the city spills into the club on a very packed Friday night. The last Friday of 2019. The last Friday of the decade. Our doors have been open for less than an hour and the club is already filled to the brim with men and women unable to walk steadily. I look across the club from backstage, laughing at the chaos out there. But those people don’t matter to me. Only one person does. And he’s nowhere in sight.

“Y/N,” I turn around to see my best friend Wendy. She’s grinning ear to ear as usual. She grabs my face with her delicate hands. “Could you pretend to be excited please? This is the final Friday of the decade!” She squeals like a kid in Disneyland. “I promise I’m excited. I apply setting spray to my face to finish off my makeup look for the night. Looking in the mirror, I am in awe of the work of art I created. Wendy whistles at me from across the room and I giggle. An hour goes by and Wendy is just now wrapping up her set. A member of the stage crew comes back to the dressing room. “You’re up in 10 Y/N,” I nod and make some final touch ups. Wendy peels around the corner, her hair in her face as she tries to catch her breath. “You killed it out there!,” I yell, running over to hug her. “How was the crowd?   The next day came and went. Much of it being the same. The first thing you did was look at your phone to see if Ben had really texted you. He had. During the class you two had together he kept looking back at you. Everytime he looked back you stared at him like you were hoping he would catch on fire. After you grabbed you lunch from the lunch line you looked over at Reys table and he waved at you with a small smile. You kept eye contact with him as you walked out. The rest of the day you managed to avoid him, taking different routes to ensure you wouldn't run into him or Rey. Eventually the day ended, and you went straight for your dorm. Elaine hasn't been back from practice yet, and you don't expect her to be back anytime soon. She had that one NYU rep coming to her game there's no way she would risk messing up so you knew she would be practicing harder. You got right to doing your homework. It was about an hour after you started that someone had knocked on the door. You stood up and opened it seeing your grandfather on the other side. You both stared at each other a second before you let him in. 

“I know you're probably here to tear me a new one. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to lose it like that.” he examined your dorm looking at the papers scattered across the small desk that came with the room. 

“I'm not here to scold you. I'm just here to talk.” you stared at him. 

“I didn't know they would be there,” he started. “If I did , I never would have taken you. It surprised me as much as it surprised you. Trust me after you left I continued to yell at them both for not being there for you. I was shocked at myself for doing it.” he sat down on your bed and looked down at his hands. 

“When you ran off i didn't know what to do. I felt helpless, because you were hurting and there was nothing I could do about it. When you didn’t come back I assumed the worst had happened, and I felt like dying. I am mad. I'm mad, not because you fought with them, I'm mad because you ran off, and did not come back. I stayed in a panic all night, because I didn't know if you were safe or not. When Matt left he didn't say if you were safe or not he just ran out.” 

Hearing that made your stomach drop. You had been so worried about getting away that it never occured to you how it would affect him. You just wanted to get away. 

“Please. I'm begging. Next time do whatever you need. Walk into a different room, keep yelling, lock yourself away. Just please. Don't do that to me again.”

You hugged him tight. “I'm so so sorry. I didn't think about how you would react if I didn't go back. I just felt so embarrassed that I didn't want anyone seeing me.” 

You pulled away as tears fell down your face. “I know you're going through a lot, and I know they didn't help, but talk to me next time. I would have gladly taken us home so you wouldn't have to see them.”

“I know. I'm sorry.”

“How on earth did you find a way home.” you laughed. You sat him down and told him about everything. How you ran until your body felt numb. How you just knocked on someone's door for help, and Amilyn answered. You even told him about her. She was so nice when she didn't have to be that you knew you had to tell him about her. After a while of you both talking through last night's events he decided to leave so you could do your homework. You walked him out your door, and said your goodbyes. Right when he was about to walk away a door opened not far from yours. 

“I thought i heard you out here!” Rey walked out and ran over to your grandfather with a smile. She hugged him and he hugged back.

“Ah i was wondering if i should visit you or not, but i figured you must have been too busy for me.” Ben walked out of her dorm. That hurt. 

“I'm never too busy! Oh, I'm not sure if you met him or not, but this is my boyfriend Ben.”

“We’ve met quite a few times actually. Me and Y/N had dinner at his house last night.” 

Ben was looking at you. When Rey started talking he turned to her. 

“Oh? What was the dinner for?” she asked in an innocent voice. Looking at Ben.

“It was just a stupid dinner thing my grandparents were having. They were invited.”

“Why didn't you tell me? I would have loved to meet your family.” you stood there awkwardly as your grandfather looked at you with a questioning look.

“Can we talk about this inside?” he pleaded. Rey turned back to your grandfather. 

“Well, no worries. We should have dinner this weekend. Maybe this friday?”

“Well, that sounds lovely. All 4 of us can go. Y/N what do you think?” he looked over at you. You were looking at the floor to avoid Ben's gaze. Rey looked at you with a bit of fury behind her eyes.

“Elaine's big game is this Friday remember? We were gonna go together.”

“Well surely he doesn't need to go. She's not even family. How about you go alone while Ben, him and I have dinner?” you could tell she just didn't want you there. 

“Well I did promise Elaine I would be in attendance. How about we all go to her game, and support her, then afterwards we go get some dinner?” 

“Sounds good to me.” you heard Ben say. Rey looked back at him, and you could tell it was with an angry look on her face. 

“I'm fine with it. Is that okay with you Rey?” you said knowing it would piss her off. 

 She looked back at you and then to your grandfather. she put on her award winning fake smile.

“Of course. Sounds wonderful. I'll see you then grandpa.”  she hugged him again and kissed him on the cheek before giving you an angry look and walking back to her room. You stayed outside with him until she shut the door. He gave you a smile and one last hug.

“I look forward to seeing you two on friday.” he said before pulling away

“Can I go home with you after and stay the weekend? Maybe we can take Gideon somewhere if you're not busy.”

“Of course. I'll work a bit extra this week so we can have a day together.”

“Thank you,” you gave him a smile “ill message you what time the game starts when she gets home.”

 With that he left, and you walked back into your room. It kind of made you feel good that he chose to hang out with you instead of just her. Then it occured to you. Ben was coming. Shit. you had done pretty good so far at avoiding him. Now you HAD to be near him. Just looking at him hurt. Knowing he chose her over you HURT.she got everything you wanted, and you were fine with everything you got. Why is it the one thing, the one person, you wanted. She got to have. Great now you're sad again. You glanced at the work sitting on your desk and weighed your options. You could just push through it, and not have to do much the rest of the week, or you could put it all away and listen to your playlist you have specifically for when you feel heartbroken and cry. You started packing the papers in the folders they needed to be in, and tucked it all away in your backpack closing the blinds right after. You turned off the lights and put your headphones in. scrolling through the playlist you found the perfect song to start you sobfest to.’Should I’ by Phoebe Ryan seems appropriate for this situation. 

 As the song began you stared at the ceiling. What was it about Ben that made you feel like this? You opened up to him, and he opened up to you. You stayed thinking for so long. Stayed silent in the dark as tears fell down your face. There was so much happening in such a short span of time. First Ben. then Ben again. Then your friends. Then your parents. It felt like some things were falling apart, and some were falling in place. You didn't know if it was the best days of your life or the worse. One day this will all be a memory. One day maybe you’ll be married, and when you and your spouse talk about your teen years you can tell him about how Ben Solo broke your heart. How he made you feel so many things. Just to crush your heart.

Suddenly the lights turned on and you sit up seeing Elaine setting her things down. She looked sweaty, and disheveled. Her hair was in a bun but she had a few hair sticking out of it. Probably from falling in practice. She was breathing hard like she had run here. 

“You’ll never believe who was at practice!” she turned and looked at you.

“Hey what happened?” she came over to you. “Are you alright?”

“Just drama with Rey and Ben, but I don't wanna think about it. What happened at practice?” 

“Oh! So before practice i was texting Matt and i told him i forgot to bring food with me for my break during practice, and about 2 hours after practice started he showed up! He brought food and ate with me while everyone rested. It was so sweet! I love him!”

 Did she just say what you think she said? 

“You what?” she looked shocked for a second.

“NO! Not like that, like the way I love you. I mean I do have a crush on him, but I don't LOVE love him. You know. I'm focused right now. I NEED to get into NYU.”

“Ok well. Have you thought about what you wanna do once you're in?”

“What do you mean?” 

“I mean. What happens once you're in? Do you think you would want to be with Matt?”

She stayed silent for a minute before answering. “I might try to go for it. If he asks, I mean. I would be too scared to ask him, but if he wanted to? Yeah. i could see myself dating him.” 

You talked to her more about it before she decided to go shower. She grabbed her clothes and went into the bathroom. You hope she goes for it. He really likes her, and you know she feels the same.  At least they liked each other, and even if things went wrong.  Matt would never treat Elaine wrong. She wouldn't either. Part of you is glad something remotely good came out of this situation. If there's anyone that deserves true love it's Elaine. She’s what you think of when you hear the word angel. She's gentle, kind, and most of all giving. You can't think of a single time she's put herself first. You decided to go to sleep while she was showering.

 You wiped the dried tears off your face and got up to change into sleep clothes. Once dressed you looked at your phone wondering if you should text Ben and apologize for what happened at dinner. Something in you knows you shouldn't. Why should he get an apology when he did this to you? He didn't deserve an apology. He didn't deserve your apology. Not when he said all those things to you in text, and in person, just to turn his back on you and pretend you don't exist. Not after he kisses you and looks at you like you're his world just to do the same for someone else in front of you.

aside from stressful school days and other events, today, quinn and our friend chloe surprised me by showing up to my house after school and whisking me off to this lovely asian market in the city! it was unusually cold, so quinn being the overly protective person they are, forced me to take their coat,, ahhh i felt so bad, the breeze was so chilly!! but sadly, the north really does get cold when the fall starts to hit hehe (6/10)

we took the metro over and messed around in our seats a bit,, it was nice and quiet for once! we ended up having a great time, getting dinner, buying lots of strange snacks, and eating different cakes at this quaint café, it was such a nice break from everything not-so-good that has been happening lately!! ✨ (7/10)

and luckily, i get to actually have a good time this weekend!!! my older brother is coming home to visit! despite college being so busy for him, he told me that he still checks in here at the end of every week haha, i'm surprised he even manages to do that with his workload 😖 he told me we're gonna go and get lunch together, so i'm really excited for that,, i miss him lots! ❤ (8/10)

its really been a time

alex and i broke up on the 15th and i am still really sad about it

i've moved house on the 23rd

turned 24 on the 25th

im feeling especially lonely being in this space - i dont know why my mood is quite low. i guess i am just tired because i went out friday and saturday

i am an introverted person who likes having their own space, but right now i dont wanna be alone, i wanna be with someone

and i think now that alex and i are no longer together i feel so alone and dont have someone to share things with. i wanted to share this space with him cus it was always me going to his place

and again he was my first love and i loved his person. he was my person. losing a friend like that is ... weird? its like grieving its like someone has died

breakups are not nice - its like cutting off your best friend.

i will get over it one day and i just wish him all the best and to be happy- but i think there will always be a part of me that loves him

the only time i've ever really experienced loss was when nani died, that was true loss

and the only time i've ever lost a friend otherwise was when simran rattu died, still to this day cannot really process that, the death of a friend (she was pretty much family)

otherwise i cut off imogen but thats because it was just unhealthy and she had some issues

otherwise friends that i've had we just naturally drift away, and thats normal!

but to just cut someone off who was your best friend? that would be like me cutting off sam - omg if that ever happened to me i think i would simply just pass away

i have to remember that its okay to be sad - its been 12 days since we broke up so thats still very fresh. someone that has been a constant in my life and who i think about all the time and was always excited to see them and be with them, and they are just gone. its like a part of me has gone with them

its sounds all cheesy and cliche but i get heartbreak now and its hard to deal with. but it will get better with time

i think just generally, again, im feeling really anxious and stuff about everything. about my life and whats going on with it because i dont know what the hell i am doing. and people around me all have these clear goals and paths but im doing nothing

i just wish i didnt struggle so much mentally sometimes, i just wish i could feel happy and well and content and that i could just get on with life

shane spent saturday with me and thats been really nice. hes a really nice boy and i like him but idk how much i like him

putting it simply, in the 5th grade seokmin asked if he could cheat off you on a history test and you said no but then he’d looked so lost and confused staring down at his paper that mid-test while the teacher wasn’t looking you leaned over and whispered “the answer is b for one, three, and seven. that’s all im giving you.”

and ,,,,,, you almost fell out of your chair when seokmin turned to you - literal stars and hearts in his eyes - and went thANK yOU in the loudest whisper he could muster

since then,,,,,you two have kind of always been a duo. seokmin’s friendly, open personality granted him a LOT of other friends but you were the person he trusted the most

and you’re trying to tell him that isn’t necessary,, you don’t want to add onto his schedule

but ofc,,,on your first day you come outside and seokmin is waiting outside looking through his phone

Ahhhh i’m sorry i don’t have any experience with y/m (;-; ) 

This will be a long post, so i’ll put it under here!!! 

3 - Are they open about their relationship? How do they feel about public displays of affection?

In a world where they’re not idols, yes, they’re very very open about their relationship. They don’t see why they have to hide, and neither of them want the other to think that they’re a dirty little secret. And when I say open, I mean sometimes getting caught having sex on their balcony lmao

In the idol world, I think they’d both be a little more careful. They’d hate it, and get frustrated about it, but they know that it’s for the best. If they want to keep their relationship, they’ll have to hide it for a while. 

10 - Who drives? Cooks? Does the handiwork? Cleans? Pays the bills? Handles the public?

Jungkook drives!! And not just because Jimin doesn’t have his licence but because Jimin thinks he looks hot whilst doing it. Also, Jungkook has the steadier hand when Jimin gets bored and decides to have a little fun lol. 

They would both cook!! Though they’re not at Seokjin’s level, they both give it a try. If it turns out bad they agree that they should just order take-out!! 

They both clean too! They split the bills in half, and it really depends on their mood on who handles the public. Even if they’re both not feeling up to it, they do their best to keep up a smile. It’s mostly Jimin who handles it. He’s the oldest, the most responsible, but Jungkook can also step up if need be. 

11 - Do they celebrate holidays? Anniversaries?

They do!!! They celebrate all the holidays! They’re favourites being Halloween and Christmas of course!! They decorate the apartment every time. They’re the couple that goes all out during the holidays because the other people in the building don’t care too much. The kids in their building love them. They always talk about how much more fun it’ll be once they have kids of their own because then they have an excuse to go trick or treating lol. Jungkook mostly is excited about the candy, and Jimin tells him he can just go to the store to get it but, 

“Hyung... it’s not fun that way...” 

As for anniversaries, they don’t care too much about the monthly ones, but they definitely care about the yearly ones. They always go on some sort of trip. Maybe camping, or hiking, or a quick vacation in Italy or Japan. They like the beach a lot too. Have thought about renting a beach house one day when they’re older.

19 - What do they fight about? What are their arguments like? How do they make up?

They get into pretty childish arguments. They’re both very competitive, so they’ll get into fights involving videos games or how much food the other can shove into their mouth without throwing up. Jungkook usually wins those. Their arguments are never too serious, however, if there was an issue that could complicate their relationship, they’ll sit and talk it out. 

Usually, they make up pretty quickly. If it’s a playful argument, it often leads to making out or just sex in the living room. They like to rile each other up, like to tease each other whenever they can. They know it’s not serious, it just makes the sex that much hotter for them. 

23 - How do they hug? Kiss? Tease? Flirt? Comfort?

Their hugs can be intense and sweet. When one of them is having a rough day, the other will crawl into their lap and cuddle up into the other’s arms. believing that their partner can protect them from the wrongs of the world. Jungkook does this most of the time. When classes and schedules become too much, no matter where Jimin is, he’ll latch on, bury his face in Jimin’s neck and not let go for thirty minutes. Jimin doesn’t mind. He’s always willing to comfort Jungkook in any way he can, vice versa. 

Their more intense hugs are reserved for reunions after long periods of time apart. Separated for longer than a few weeks, you bet these two will be making out right in the middle of the airport. So wrapped up in each other they can’t feel any sort of shame. 

They tease and flirt all the time. There’s never really a dull moment with these two. They flirt even after years of being together, they tease whenever they can. It’s to make each other laugh. They know each other well, it’s how they show their love. There’s no malice behind it, it’s just how they work. It’s their dynamic. 

33 - What kind of presents do they get each other? Do they only do it on special occasions?

They get each other presents most of the time. Every Friday they’ll get each other flowers. If one of them forgets, they make up for it by cooking or doing something the other likes. Since Jimin likes rings, Jungkook does keep an eye out for jewelry whenever he’s out shopping. And when Jimin passes by a game store, he’ll wander around and look through all the games to see if there were any that he thinks Jungkook would like. He feels like a parent shopping for their kid but he loves the way Jungkook’s face brightens up when Jimin drops a game onto his lap and says he thought of him. 

On special occasions, they get each other a new bead for their promise bracelets that they’ve had since high school. Every year, one bead is added to count down the years they’ve been together. 

39 -  Who initiated the relationship? Who kissed who first?  When did they realize they were in love?

I think they both fell at the same time. While Jungkook was less vocal about his affections, he was the first to ask Jimin out. They both had different ways of showing their affections, however, Jungkook was definitely the first to step up because Jimin wanted to see what he’d do. Poor baby bun was left to suck it up and just get on with it lmao 

They went in for the kiss at the same time, bumping foreheads after a date at the park. It was still sunny outside, yet they still managed to clonk their heads together on accident. They laugh about it before Jimin leans up and pecks Jungkook on the lips chastely. 

Jungkook falls first. 18 years old and a little careless, he blurts it out when they’re alone in Jimin’s room. Jimin, who’s in his first year of college already, who’s a little more mature now, is a little startled. He tells Jungkook that they might be moving too fast and that he needs to figure it out himself. Jungkook ends up crying, and they don’t see each other for a few days. And within those few days, Jimin is worried sick. He calls Jungkook all the time, asks if he’s okay. Drops by the school to see him but Jungkook always avoids him. Then... when Jimin thinks that enough is enough, he barges right into Jungkook’s room and demands they talk. He accidentally says that he’s in love too without realising, and they both cry about it. 

41 - Are they party-goers? What are they like when they’re drunk? Does it happen often?

They do go to parties on occasion, but it’s not very often that they go by themselves! They’re always with the rest of the boys since they trust each other to look out for one another, but they’re still adults so they can be quite reckless!! 

Jimin is a pretty happy drunk. He’s a little silly and he can get quite touchy with Jungkook, who is a loud, competitive drunk. He’ll challenge anyone to a drinking game. He’ll get blackout drunk if it means he’ll win. You can usually find these two in the corner of the room with a group of people. Jungkook is doing shots after shots, while Jimin is nestled in his lap, kissing along his neck and jaw, having the time of his life. They’re weird, but they work well together. 

This usually doesn’t happen! They have fun with each other without alcohol!! It’s only when Taehyung drags them to one of his ‘social gatherings’ that they get this way. Nevertheless, they’re both pretty wild when they drink lol

I HAVE THINGS TO SAY

LAST NIGHTS EPISODE OF NEIGHBOURS WAS PRETTY MUCH THE BEST EPISODE EVER LIKE HOLY HECK HAPPY EASTER  TO EVERYONE. Ok so! ahg. I dunno where to start. Ok can we all just appreciate Paul since the boys came into his life. Like he is being a bloody good genuine person, like I can’t even believe him last tonight. Totally became the hero of the show with the things he said to David. The writers addressed lots of issues in society in this episode, and handled them all beautifully. David confessed that his idea of a father was someone stern with high expectations, who wanted their son to tick all the right boxes. House, Job, Kids, WIFE. Paul actually looked heart broken that David spent all his life thinking he had to do those things. Like, no one was even there to tell him that that was the norm, David just thought that was the norm all on his own. Which is almost sadder. Then after the Good Friday ceremony, Paul, admits that once upon a time he probably would have expected his kids to grow up to be like him, nothing else. And David thinks that’s the norm. So Paul corrects him and says well no it’s foolish. He talks about how wonderful his kids are because they aren’t like him.  Then, Paul. AGH WHAT A HERO HE IS. He gives David the speech of the year! “David....dont think you have to tick any boxes for me. Or anyone for that matter. Married, single, kids, no kids, doctor, cleaner, I dont care. As long as you choose the life that makes YOU happy. Do you hear what im saying? *David nods* “Good. I so wish I could have told you that all your life”. HERO COME THROUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. David REALLY needed to hear that. To know that how he feels is okay. Especially from the allusive father figure that was always holding him back. Paul you bloody legend. Like, seriously that made me so happy. Ok but also that last scene with David and Leo. BEAUTIFUL. I think it’s so important for David to admit that he’s gay. You can think things, you can act upon how you feel, but to verbally acknowledge who you are. It’s committing yourself to your decision, it’s having witnesses to your decision. It’s really really hard to do, especially with tough subjects. So it speaks even more of his growth, that he can do this. Also the fact that he’s telling his brother, the person who he sees as his most important person, and by some degree his only family. That validation is extremely important. BUT OUR OTHER HERO LEO. WHAT A FANTASTIC BROTHER. He never interrupted David once David said this talk was about him, he let David gather his thoughts and talk at his own pace. He turned himself around to properly face David once David started talking about Leo being the most important, and that he had to hear this first. BUT THE BEST PART. THE. BEST. PART. Was when David said “I’m Gay”, in that sort of worried, quiet voice, Leo before anything else, told him to say it again. Say it again!. Then you watch David’s face change from hesitance, to relief, to some sort of relief/excitement/confidence. It. Was. Beautiful. Then afterwards Leo says “it’s about time Bro”. Then they adorable bro hug. THE END. I couldn’t even imagine a better way of Leo handling that situation. I think if he had said said something like “I know”, or even said “About time bro” during that first confession, it could have rattled David back a bit. He let David take full control of this chat, and made sure David confirmed his feelings several times. I think that method was a clever way of showing that Leo was totally okay with it. “It’s fine with me, tell yourself it’s okay, tell yourself again”. David’s mindset that he has to tick all the boxes seems like it means he thinks he needs everyones approval. But really it’s him needing his own approval. Aside from Hiiobaa-chan not approving, everyone has in some way told him to just be himself. David kept convincing himself that it was not okay. So having Paul tell him, as a father, that he doesn’t have to impress him, and having his beloved brother tell him to confirm to himself again, that he’s gay. Ahhhh. IT’S. BEAUTIFUL. aSIDE FROM THAT, dAVID AND aARON WERE ALSO VERY CUTE THIS EPISODE. Aaron is kinda being a little more forward in how he speaks to David, it’s cute. David was was being vague about his lunch with Paul and Aaron pointed that out - “Dont go holding out on me here” and David’s all “I’m no-” and Aaron buts in saying “No. You are”. Awww lol and that invisible safezone Aaron made and he shuts the doors and David giggles and starts chirping away about finally having a dad. “Leo’s not here, neither is Amy. It’s just you and I, and Im not gonna judge you. Look *slides invisible doors* schhhhwoop This is our safezone” Agh its so cute. I can’t even begin to imagine what the next #Daaron interaction will look like. Is David gonna tell Aaron hes gay? Will David try and flirt randomly LOL. Will he be a chuffed giddy adorable young guy and Aaron will keep trying to find out why he’s so happy? Agh. Its too cute to think about.
